Family Feud is often thought of as a family-friendly show. Based on some of the questions and answers, that isn’t always the case. In a recent episode, host Steve Harvey shamed a contestant for their particularly raunchy response. So, what did they have to say?
Family Feud Not Always So Family-Friendly
Even though Family Feud is generally thought of as a family-friendly program, that isn’t always the case. Veteran watchers will remember host Richard Dawson, who would kiss all of the female contestants. This type of behavior absolutely would not pass today. However, the one common thread is that there are still some raunchy answers to raunchy questions.
As Family Feud watchers have seen, even seemingly innocent survey questions can generate some Nsfw answers. The one major difference with the show today is that those moments regularly get made into shorter clips, which then go viral on social media.

After one group of Family Feud challengers displays an odd performance, Steve Harvey struggles to hold back. Undeniably, their actions were unconventional and Steve was not impressed.
Steve Harvey Can’t Hold Back
While Steve Harvey has been working on himself lately, he sometimes can’t contain his thoughts. Without a doubt, Steve has seen some strange things over the years on Family Feud. Sometimes, families give awkward answers and he sidesteps the show through it. Luckily for viewers, most of his hilarious responses are caught on film. Undoubtedly, the hosting job comes with many funny moments. But recently, Steve couldn’t hold back when one family made a silly move that left him scolding them afterward.

Shannon Sharpe arrives promptly at noon at the South Beverly Grill, a short drive from his home in Holmby Hills. He is 6-foot-2 and 230 pounds, a wall of muscle sheathed in black athleisure wear. He slides into his favorite booth, orders a cranberry ginger ale and offers a hello — friendly but guarded — to an awaiting journalist.
It’s usually Sharpe asking the questions — whether on his blockbuster podcasts Club Shay Shay (3.17 million YouTube subscribers) and Nightcap (1.26 million subscribers) or on ESPN’s First Take, where through the NFL season he spars good-naturedly with host Stephen A. Smith.
Sharpe, who turns 56 on June 26, shot to fame as a tight end for the Denver Broncos. He’s an NFL Hall of Famer and three-time Super Bowl champ. But his other calling, it turns out, is talking — about sports, yes, but about many other things, too, from social issues to politics to celebrity gossip.

It seems that Family Feud has gotten a lot raunchier recently, at least as far as many fans are concerned. The questions often offer a little racier answers than usual. Some players also give some Nsfw answers — even in questions that don’t warrant those kinds of answers.
However, some fans wonder if the popular game show isn’t moving a little too far away from family-friendly daily entertainment.
Fans Blast Family Feud For Raunchy Questions/Answers
Family Feud has more moments than ever before that fans consider raunchy. Some of the moments are warranted. There was a question about what people might want to try if they had never done it. A guy said “mé·nage à trois,” which shook up host Steve Harvey. However, “threesome” was in the answers.
Other moments come out of nowhere. In one episode, the question was what people might bury in their backyard.

A contestant kicked off a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune with a bang, so to speak, with a shocking yet humorous response.
Tavaris Williams rose to instant fame when he went head-to-head with his competitors for a $1,000 toss-up round.
The Port St. Lucie, Florida resident had his buzzer in hand, ready to solve the puzzle in the “Phrase” category as veteran tile-turner Vanna White, 67, began revealing letters on the board.
When the puzzle revealed, “_ _ _ _ / I _ / T _ E / B _ _ T!” Tavaris was certain he had the correct solution and tapped his buzzer.
When host Pat Sajak, 77, called on Tavaris to answer, his response sent the studio audience and his challengers into a tizzy and stunned the longtime Wheel of Fortune host.
“Right in the butt?” Tavaris responded, somewhat questioning his response.

Family Feud is a show where, as viewers, it’s all about expecting the unexpected. For host Steve Harvey, he was left speechless by a recent contestant’s response. So, what did the contestant say that had Harvey at a loss for words?
Family Feud Always Leaves Viewers Guessing
One of the many reasons why viewers keep coming back for more Family Feud after decades of being on the air is, you never know what kind of response you’re going to get from a family member. It could be the most innocent question under the sun, and yet, there is going to be a Nsfw answer on the board somewhere.

Steve Harvey has had enough of Family Feud contestants’ shenanigans.
A recent contestant on the popular weeknight game show gave a convoluted answer to a survey question, which confused and irritated Steve.
Steve stood at the podium for a faceoff, asking the two competitors to “name something you’d hate to be wearing when you get locked out of your hotel room.”
A contestant named Mandi tried to put some points on the board for her team by asking Steve, “Does their girlfriend’s clothes count as thongs?”
As it turned out, “Undies/Thongs” was already on the board in the number-one spot, so Mandi was unsure whether her answer would be considered identical and earn her team an “X.”
Mandi’s question garnered some chuckles from the crowd, but Steve was clearly confused by her garbled response, replying, “Huh?”

Adam Sandler and Josh Safdie’s follow-up to 2020’s Uncut Gems is still in the works, following several delays and setbacks.
Here’s a project that we’ve been reporting on for years now and whilst this story won’t confirm anything, it’s fresh news that claims that the movie is still alive. The movie in question is Josh Safdie’s untitled baseball film which will star Adam Sandler.
The project is one of interest because it will mark the pair’s next collaboration after 2020’s Uncut Gems, the nail-biting drama that was bought to us courtesy of Netflix and had audiences everywhere shifting uncomfortably in their seats for the majority of its runtime.
Last year’s strikes were the main culprit for this one not happening sooner. The film is said to focus around baseball and as such, needs to shoot during the sport’s season. Last year...

Along with watching Family Feud for Steve Harvey and all the jokes he makes with the answers participants give him on the show, a big draw for viewers is never quite knowing what someone will say when they are asked a question. In fact, Family Feud viewers have grown accustomed to some off-the-wall survey answers from competitors.
Such was the case during a recent episode of Family Feud when Steve asked a player named Kate a survey question.
“Name someone you don’t mind disrobing in front of,” Steve proposed to Kate.
Without hesitation, Kate replied, “My kids.”
Steve Harvey shows off his improv skills
Steve wasted no time poking fun at Kate’s answer, creating an imaginary scene between Kate and her kids.
“Hey, kids, how y’all doin’?” Steve asked the imaginary children while pretending to undress himself.

Family Feud viewers were taken aback when a contestant gave host Steve Harvey a response that no one expected.
Steve has become accustomed to contestants offering wild and unpredictable answers on his show.
But the 67-year-old is always prepared, using his comedic background to react with humor and keep entertaining his audiences.
Steve was caught off guard when a contestant named Joshua provided an answer that no one saw coming.
Steve surveyed Joshua and his opponent at the podium, asking, “If you left your laptop open, what do you hope isn’t on your screen?”
Joshua responded with confidence, “Messages from a h**.”

Even Dr. Phil is getting in on TV’s frenzied battle for sports rights.
The daytime mainstay has long been known for doling out common-sense advice without any bull. Now that’s about to change.
Starting in July, a significant chunk of Professional Bull Riders events will be seen on Merit Street Media, the TV outlet launched earlier this year by Phil McGraw, who had previously hosted the syndicated “Dr. Phil” program between 2002 and 2023. As part of a new four-year deal, McGraw’s Merit Street will carry Pbr Teams events; the full schedule for Pbr Unleash The Beast, the sport’s individual competition series; and 50 episodes of “Pbr Now” a news, information, and analysis program.
“I think we’ll bring viewers to bull riding, and I think bull riding will bring viewers to us,” says McGraw in an interview.

Family Feud is known for contestants giving some pretty wild answers. Steve Harvey has heard plenty of them and kept his composure. However, a recent answer from a contestant had the comedian and host nearly falling over with laughter. So, what happened?
Family Feud: Steve Harvey Has Heard It All
As an actor and comedian with all of his years in the business, Steve Harvey has heard it all. Once he made the shift to hosting duties for various programs, another skill he has had to master was keeping his composure.
When he does his stand-up specials, he can be as wild and wacky as he wants. However, depending on the hosting gig, he often has to maintain a certain level of composure during filming.
Even when he gets a little off track, Harvey is usually able to reel it back in and allow the show to continue. In some instances,...

A couple of Family Feud contestants took their enthusiasm too far, and host Steve Harvey wasn’t having it.
When it came time for the Reischel family to play the Fast Money round, they sent Jenni and Jessie to the stage to try and win $20,000 for their team.
Steve called over to the Reischel’s podium, announcing, “Hey, you ain’t gonna believe it, Jenni, but you did it!”
“Gimme two people right now. Let’s go,” Steve said as Jenni and her teammate Jessie approached the stage. “We’re playing. We got Jenni. [This is] Jenni’s dream come true.”
Jenni was clearly over the moon to be joining Steve Harvey in front of the audience, as evidenced by her non-stop dance moves.
As Jessie joined Jenni on the opposite side of Steve, she danced incessantly.

ABC is bringing back a big chunk of its unscripted shows for the 2024-25 TV season.
The network has renewed seven series — American Idol, The Bachelor, Celebrity Jeopardy!, Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Dancing With the Stars, Shark Tank and the ABC News-produced What Would You Do? — for next season. They join The Golden Bachelorette, a spinoff of last fall’s breakout The Golden Bachelor, on the 2024-25 slate. (The Bachelorette is also set for its usual summer run.)
Notably missing from the list of pickups is America’s Funniest Home Videos, ABC’s longest-running entertainment series. A decision hasn’t been made yet on a possible 35th season for the show.
American Idol will air its eighth season on ABC (and 23rd overall) in 2024-25, although it will do so without judge Katy Perry, who is leaving at the end of the current season. Dancing With the Stars (season 33), The Bachelor...

In January 2022, Casey Wilson was a guest on The Deep Dive, a podcast hosted by her longtime friends and frequent comedy collaborators June Diane Raphael and Jessica St. Clair. The episode kicked off what the pod was calling their Lifelong Learners Series, an only moderately satirical moniker for their discussions dedicated to everything from tablescaping to mixology; Wilson — known for her highly popular Real Housewives-centric podcast Bitch Sesh — was enlisted to discuss what they called The Art of Small Talk. She and St. Clair, both professed experts in chit-chat, riffed about their favorite places to approach strangers (in line at Home Goods, in an elevator) and offered a few of their well-weathered tips (keeping it light, pivoting away from so-called energy vampires).

Family Feud host Steve Harvey was left in disbelief during a recent episode and even called out the game show as “ridiculous.” He has heard a lot of crazy things on the hit series but this time, his jaw hit the floor. So, what happened and how did he exactly react? Keep reading for all of the details.
Family Feud Steve Harvey Left In Disbelief, Calls Show ‘Ridiculous’
Steve Harvey is no stranger to interesting answers on the Family Feud. Families have to guess the top answers on the board out of 100 people questioned. They can only get three Xs before the question is turned over to the opposite team. That means the family has to think hard and oftentimes, work closely together. This can be a challenge based on the question and such was the case with a recent category. According to The Sun, it revolved around Superman and him taking off his cape.

Family Feud contestants often get away with being awarded correct answers when, in reality, their responses don’t match what’s on the board, and viewers have had enough.
Typically, Family Feud teams only need to come up with a few answers to clear the board and take the win, so oftentimes, those survey answers are quite specific.
So when a recent contestant gave a roundabout answer but was still given the credit for a correct response, Family Feud viewers sounded off.
A contestant named Mandi from the Littleton family took her turn at her family’s podium and was asked by host Steve Harvey to name something “Superman would take off his cape to do.”
“He would take off his cape when he, um, goes to like a charity function,” was Mandi’s reply, but she quickly realized it didn’t come out exactly the way she wanted it to.

Comedian Katt Williams stirred up a lot of controversy on Club Shay Shay, airing his grievances out on a few veteran comics. Dave Chappelle, however, disagreed with the way Williams called out his contemporaries. And judging by Williams’ recent comments, that may be a topic neither of them will ever see eye-to-eye on.
What Katt Williams had to say about Dave Chappelle’s comments Dave Chappelle | Shannon Finney/Getty Images
Williams went on record to address a handful of comedians he felt slighted him in some way. Two kings of comedy even caught a stray when Williams admonished Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer for stealing his material.
But not everyone thought Williams’ statements were justified. Not too long after Williams’ Club Shay Shay appearance, Chappelle shared his feelings on Williams’ internet-breaking interview during a private standup. Chappelle felt Williams might’ve done more harm than good for comedy with his takes.
