As SAG-AFTRA and the WGA continue to strike and fight for a new deal, the picket lines are remaining full. In fact, they’re so full that multiple series have seen cast and crew reunions while marching.
Some have been spontaneous, as old colleagues run into each other by chance at a given location. Others have been planned, making sure to get as many members out on the lines as possible. So, we rounded up some of the biggest ones, ranging from shows long since ended, to those still fresh in our hearts.
You can check out some of the biggest reunions in the photos below.

It’s no surprise to hear that Charlotte Kirk will be starring in director Neil Marshall‘s psychological thriller Compulsion, as she has starred in his last three films: The Reckoning, The Lair, and Duchess (which hasn’t been released yet). She has even co-written the screenplays for all three of those movies with Marshall. So it was almost a given that she would star in Compulsion as well, but Deadline reports that she’s being joined in the cast by Anna-Maria Sieklucka, who starred in the massive hit 365 Days for the Netflix streaming service.
Scripted by Marshall, Compulsion is said to be inspired by the old school erotic thrillers of the ’80s and ’90s, like Fatal Attraction, Basic Instinct, and Single White Female. This one centers on the dynamically twisted relationship between two women, as both become embroiled in a series of horrific murders on the island of Malta.

“Kirk’s character, Diana, is described as a flamboyant and ruthless thief; Sieklucka’s Evie, as a seemingly innocent young woman with a troubled past and a dark secret.”
Zach McGowan (Dracula Untold), Giulia Gorietti (Suburra), Cinzia Monreale (The Beyond) and Harvey Dean (Sea Dragon) will also star in Neil Marshall’s new movie.

"We're not criminals, we're sanitation workers taking out the trash." Vertical Entertainment has revealed an official trailer for an indie action thriller titled Sanctioning Evil, from filmmaker Ante Novakovic. This has such a strange concept and all the synopses are extremely vague in actually describing what's going on. After being dishonorably discharged from the U.S. military, a Staff Sergeant finds his way back into society through a charismatic politician deploying a covert military operation to eliminate an underground criminal entity on U.S soil. So he's recruited to kill someone this politician doesn't like, but why? Which side is on? What's the message here, what exactly is it trying to say? This stars Tobias Truvillion, Zach McGowan, Taryn Manning, Ebony Jo-ann, Chris Tardio, Carrie Kim, Kyle Sharp, Tasha Lawrence, Kresh Novakovic, and James Biberi. This trailer only make everything a bit more confusing trying to decipher who's who and...

Blood & Treasure‘s Danny and Lexi racked up lots more frequent flier miles this week, as the hunt for the Soul of Genghis Khan took them from Vietnam to Russia — with a stop to see an old “friend” in Ireland along the way.

Nobody in the Montana Territory circa 1881 watches a former slave like Cicero (Isaiah Mustafa) walk into town without keen interest. That goes for friends and foes alike. Luckily for him, Yellowstone City is a progressive settlement in many ways. It has its fair share of racists and bigots to be sure, but you can’t help feeling heartened as far as seeing a saloon owned by a gay couple (Richard Dreyfuss’ Edgar and John Ales’ Mickey) who act as fathers to wayward souls like the young Dakota native working the stables (Tanaya Beatty’s Violet) or the Latina den mother of their brothel (Aimee Garcia’s Isabel). If anyone is willing to open their doors to Cicero, these are the folks. But they’re not the only ones drinking today.
Director Richard Gray and screenwriter Eric Belgau’s Murder at Yellowstone City takes pains to ensure everyone is at attention this Sunday.

The first tip-off is the title: “Murder at Yellowstone City” is not your standard-issue shoot-’em-up. Rather, director Richard Gray’s well-crafted and handsomely mounted indie is as much a solidly constructed mystery as it is it a conventionally satisfying oater, with much to recommend to fans of either genre who rarely get to sample such a mix. Indeed, outside of Henry Hathaway’s “Five Card Stud” (1968) and the lamentably short-lived 2003 TV series “Peacemakers,” it’s hard to recall many other scenarios that suggest what might have resulted had Zane Grey and Agatha Christie bellied up to the bar and swapped ideas.

Jeremy Piven plays a prodigal son aiming to build a casino in his old neighbourhood in this flat-footed ode to bar-room wisdom
This soft-headed comedy-drama has the profundity and about the same wit level of one of those joke signs you see above bars, and often feels like it was scripted on a hangover after a two-day bender. Jeremy Piven plays Mick, prodigal real estate-developer son who returns to his old stomping ground of Darby Heights (based on Philadelphia’s Upper Darby) for his mother’s funeral. His feckless buddies, including jail-hopping brother Dougal (Zach McGowan), are still living their old boozy lives. What Mick thinks will revitalise the neighbourhood – and fend off the real-estate sharks circling, among other things, his dad’s pub – is a new casino.
The obvious contradiction here – that Mick’s idea is ridiculous, and he is in fact part of what is threatening Darby Heights – is never meaningfully broached,...

The Brad Furman-directed crime thriller City of Lies has had quite a journey, but the Saban Films release finally hits theaters today before dropping on digital and on demand April 9.
Based on the book, LAbyrinth, by Pulitzer Prize-winning author Randall Sullivan and adapted by Christian Contreras, City of Lies follows the investigation into the infamous murder of iconic rap artist Christopher Wallace aka the hip hop legend Notorious B.I.G.
Oscar and Emmy winner Forest Whitaker stars as Jack Jackson, a journalist who teams up with LAPD detective Russell Poole (Johnny Depp), who spent nearly 20 years trying to solve the murder. The two of them try to find the truth. They explore why the case remains cold — and why a secret division of the LAPD is seemingly set on keeping it that way.
It’s not a lie that City of Lies went through a lot to make its way to the theaters.

"Did you forget where you came from?" IFC Films has revealed an official trailer for a dramedy titled Last Call, from filmmaker / producer Paolo Pilladi. The film's early working title was Crabs in a Bucket, which seems amusing but probably doesn't really describe the story well. A "success story" real estate developer returns to his old Philly neighborhood and ends up obligated to stay to help ensure his parents’ ailing family business gets back on course. While there, he must decide to raze or resurrect the family bar while dealing with other questions about his life and what to do next. The film stars Jeremy Piven, Taryn Manning, Bruce Dern, Zach McGowan, Jamie Kennedy, and Jack McGee. Doesn't look that great, but it does look like a sweet & funny middle-aged look at "going home" and reconnecting with your old neighborhood. Here's the official trailer (+ poster) for Paolo Pilladi's Last Call,...

In a world where California's Los Angeles police department is being 'defunded' by multimillionaires, indifferent to the rioting and looting of businesses, homes and people in poverty-stricken districts, Sony Pictures "L.A.'s Finest", a crime-fighting cop, TV series spin-off from Jerry Bruckheimer's "Bad Boys" movie franchise, starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba, will not be picked up again by Spectrum TV after two seasons, despite an outcry from fans of the series:
"...'Burnett' (Union), last seen in Miami taking down a drug cartel, has left her complicated past behind to become an 'LAPD' detective.
"Paired with 'Nancy McKenna' (Alba), a working mom with an equally complex past, Burnett is pushed to examine whether her unapologetic lifestyle might be masking a greater personal secret.
"These two women don’t agree on much, but they find common ground when it comes to taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles.

It appears that Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was planting much more than a fun Easter egg in Season 4, when it put Anton Ivanov’s severed head inside a jar.
Based on new intel from one of the ABC series’ executive producers, it sounds like the groundwork was indeed being laid, in late Season 4, for the introduction of the highly unusual-looking Marvel villain known as M.O.D.O.K. Fans at the time speculated as much, seeing as Watchdogs leader Ivanov (played by Zach McGowan) had told Aida his Lmd body was “only designed for killing” — and M.O.D.O.K. stands...

As The 100 nears the end of its seven-season run, the creator and executive producer Jason Rothenberg was joined by cast members Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Tasya Teles, Shannon Kook, Jr Bourne and Shelby Flannery in a pre-taped panel for Comic-Con@Home to reflect about their time on the CW sci-fi series. In addition to that, Rothenberg gave audiences some vague hints about the backdoor prequel pilot to the series which aired earlier this month.
“We definitely started the season wanting to make sure we didn’t leave anything on the field,” said Rothenberg about wrapping up seven seasons. He added that he recognizes the series leaves a lot of unanswered questions throughout the seasons that he wanted to answer and said that the prequel episode helped “fill in a lot of the blanks”. For example, he pointed out that the episode addressed why the bunker was empty...

Some of The 100 cast and showrunner Jason Rothenberg took place in a pre-recorded panel today for Comic Con at Home in which they chatted about the legacy of this show and what to expect from the latter half of the show’s final season.
“We definitely started this season wanting to make sure we didn’t leave anything on the field, meaning there were certain unanswered questions over the seasons that we wanted to answer,” said showrunner Rothenberg about the plan heading into the seventh season. “And since I know people are seeing this after I think maybe the first 10 episodes have aired, you already have seen the prequel so you know that that episode kind of fills in a lot of blanks. Why was the bunker empty when they opened it in Season 4 just being one sort of question that I always had and we needed to answer this year.

So, it was a surprise to absolutely no one when Roan appeared on The 100, ready to win over the audience with his powerful performance of a character with plenty of unknown potential.
Roan first appeared when he kidnapped Clarke Griffin during The 100 Season 3 Episode 1, which kickstarted the journey to learning more about the king to the Azgeda throne. All it took was one episode, and the interest in Roan grew, with questions about his past and the way he fit into the future of the show rolling around in everyone's mind.
Roan was unpredictable, making fans wonder what his next step would be and even getting some humor out of it in the process.

Historical epics are a dime a dozen. Even on an independent budget, they litter the cinematic landscape. So, there needs to be something for one of these efforts to distinguish themselves with. In the case of Robert the Bruce, it’s an attempt to pick up where Braveheart left off. Other films like Outlaw King have tried a similar approach with the character, to varying degrees of success. Here, the result is a bit of a letdown, as the singular focus doesn’t serve the title character well. Now on Digital, it’s an option for those of you who dig these sorts of period pieces, but it’s unlikely to satisfy your craving. The results just aren’t really there for this project. The movie is a period piece/historical epic, centered on the title character, Robert the Bruce (Angus Macfadyen). Specifically, it covers the time after William Wallace’s victories depicted in Braveheart,...

“Robert the Bruce” sounds like it could be the title of a Mel Brooks parody of a rousingly high-minded chain-mail-and-Lochaber-axe medieval hero epic. (It’s a sword clank away from something like “Bruce the Lionhearted.”) I don’t mean to come off as ignorant or disrespectful, since Robert the Bruce was, of course, the 14th-century Scottish king who fought alongside William Wallace and is revered in his homeland for having led the First War of Scottish Independence against England. Nevertheless, the people who made the staid, morose, and achingly pedestrian historical drama “Robert the Bruce” are a little too in love with the sound of people saying that name. “Robert the Bruce! Can you hear me?!” shouts the leader of a roving band of roughneck English loyalists, over and over again. If you watched this movie and played a drinking game where you had to take a slurp of ale...

The best thing about “Robert the Bruce” — that finds Angus Macfadyen reprising his role from that Oscar-winning epic — is that it doesn’t find a role for Mel Gibson. Alas, the worst thing about this generic follow-up is that it almost makes you wish that it had.
Despite forsaking the massive scale and maniacal egotism of Gibson’s blockbuster in favor of something a bit more life-sized and contained (read: cheaper), Richard Gray’s medieval family melodrama could use some of the dick-swinging bellicosity that “Braveheart” kept under its kilt. It could use some of that movie’s fire and bloodlust, and maybe even a smidgen of the smirking charm that allowed Gibson to leverage the First War of Scottish Independence into a vanity project for the ages. It could use any kind of animating force whatsoever.

"Scotland is clutched in the grip of a mighty hand... Now, we'll set her free!" Screen Media Films has just released another official Us trailer for the Scottish historical action drama Robert the Bruce, made by Australian director Richard Gray. Robert the Bruce is a hard-hitting historical epic covering the turbulent time after William Wallace's victories depicted in Braveheart. This originally premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival last year - which is when we featured the first UK trailer. Angus Macfadyen stars (playing the same role he played in Braveheart), joined by a big cast with Jared Harris, Zach McGowan, Daniel Portman, Emma Kenney, Melora Walters, Anna Hutchison, Talitha Eliana Bateman, Patrick Fugit, Gabriel Bateman, and Kevin McNally. The film also features original music from Scottish national treasure Lulu. This looks like it might be good, or might very boring, and they're definitely playing off of "Game of Thrones" being over.

First Trailer for the Robert The Bruce Film With Braveheart Actor Angus Macfadyen Reprising The Role
If you’re a fan of Mel Gibson’s Braveheart, I’ve got the first trailer here for you to watch for a movie that you’re going to want to see. It’s a historical action drama based on the Scottish warrior Robert the Bruce, it’s called Robert the Bruce, and Braveheart star Angus Macfadyen reprises his role from Braveheart.
The movie looks pretty good, and the story “explores the lost months during a long, harsh winter when Robert, injured and pursued across the Highlands by his enemies, takes shelter with the steely Morag and her fearless children. Restored to health and spurred on by this humble family’s resilience and courage, Bruce finally finds the resolve to rally his people and lead his country to hard-fought independence.” This is the synopsis that was released:
