Nicole Kidman was honored with the Life Achievement Award on Saturday, making history as the first Australian to earn the top honor from the American Film Institute.
The 56-year-old Being the Ricardos actress becomes the 49th person to be awarded this accolade by the AFI, which honors an individual for their contribution to the advancement of the American culture through motion pictures and television.
Nicole Kidman’s Supportive Family
Nicole celebrated her new accomplishment with her husband, Keith Urban, and their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, turning the event into a family affair—a glamorous one, if I may add. Her sister Antonia was also at the event with her husband, Craig Marran, and their daughter, Sybella Hawley.
Sunday and Faith, who made their red carpet debut at the event, looked lovely in Monique Lhuillier. Sunday, 16, donned a white floral-printed gown with a sweetheart neckline, while Faith, 13, wore a strapless coral trumpet gown.

What celebrities wear to awards shows is, at this point, pretty predicable. The protocol of Hollywood legacy demands they dress at least relatively tame.
But fashion people going to an awards show where they’re the celebs? There are no decorum dictates there! From gowns to shorts, heels to moto boots, fur to chiffon, minis to maxis, trad plaids to 3D florals, it was all on show at The Daily Front Row’s Eighth Annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday night at the Beverly Hills Hotel — on ladies and gentlemen.
At this awards show — where honorees included the legendary Bob Mackie, A-list hairstylist Adir Abergel, makeup artist Rachel Goodwin, models Elsa Hosk and Amelia Gray, and The Hollywood Reporter co-editor-in-chief Maer Roshan — the dress code “anything goes” is an understatement.

Amelia Gray may have been named model of the year at The Daily Front Row’s eighth annual Fashion Los Angeles Awards on Sunday, but she’s certainly thinking beyond the catwalk.
Gray tells me she’ll probably try following in the acting footsteps of her parents, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin… eventually
“It is in my blood, but I have a lot more boxes to check,” she said on the red carpet. “I’m a firm believer in, focus on one thing, finish that and then start the next book once you finish the first one. We’re not even halfway done finishing the first book. We’ve got a lot more to do.”
The evening, which was hosted by comedian Celeste Barber at the Beverly Hills Hotel, also honored Adir Abergel (Hair Stylist of the Year), Anastasia Soare (Beauty Innovator of the Year), Brett Alan Nelson (Music Stylist...

Inside THR’s Beauty Dinner With Charlize Theron, Janelle Monae and Ashley Park and Their Glam Squads
Oscar winner Charlize Theron was the last VIP to arrive at West Hollywood’s Holloway House shortly after 8 p.m. on Wednesday night, Oct. 25, for The Hollywood Reporter and Instagram’s exclusive party to toast the town’s most influential glam gurus. Theron had good reason for turning up just as guests were being seated for dinner — her glam squad got the party started early at her house.
“We were all together trying to get ready in my bathroom which is kind of difficult because it’s this big,” said Theron while holding her hands together to represent a tight squeeze. “And we were having way too much champagne and just talking. Our conversations cover so much because our lives are so big and we can talk about anything. I love them so incredibly much. I don’t know how else to articulate it — they are my community.”

Kristen Stewart's outfit for the 2021 Met Gala is truly sugar, spice and everything nice. The Spencer actress walked up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a pink Chanel jacket and white pants that were everything fans hoped for and more. Aside from some pops of pink, classic monochrome looks ruled the red carpet at the 2020 Oscars.
Unlike their bold color moments at the Golden Globes, Bombshell producer and star Charlize Theron (nominated for her portrayal of Megyn Kelly) and Bombshell best supporting actress nominee Margot Robbie both donned off-shoulder onyx silhouettes at the 92nd Academy Awards.
Stylist Leslie Fremar dressed Theron in a Dior ball gown with a thigh-high slit that was finished with a Tiffany & Co. necklace and diamond Chopard earrings, while hairstylist Adir Abergel kept the actress' short hair slicked back. Styled by Kate Young, Chanel ambassador Robbie wore a vintage ...

Charlize Theron wore some dazzling diamonds at the Screen Actors Guild Awards — in her hair!
The actress, who is nominated for outstanding performance by a female actor in a leading role for her performance as Megyn Kelly in Bombshell, admits she didn’t have time to hit the hair salon before the awards ceremony. But she decided to turn it into a major fashion moment.
With her hair parted in the center and pulled back into a sleek up-do, Theron’s dark roots were slightly visible, so her hairstylist Adir Abergel suggested she add some jewels to complete the style.

Charlize Theron may not be up for an award at Sunday’s Oscars, but she vividly remembers how emotional it can be to win.
The 43-year-old actress, who will be presenting at the show, stopped to chat with Ryan Seacrest ahead of the ceremony and reminisced about her own big night back in 2004.
Theron, who won Best Actress for her role in Monster, vividly recalled the moment she thanked her mother, Gerda Jacoba Aletta Maritz, during her acceptance speech — and even got choked up as she spoke to their special relationship.

No one does it quite like Charlize Theron. The A-list actress and style chameleon attended Sunday's 2019 Oscars, where she debuted a new look that has us booking an appointment with our hair stylists stat. No longer rocking the platinum blonde tresses fans have grown to know as her signature style over the years, Theron went short (like super short) and brunette for the star-studded occasion. Charlize's super talented glam squad, comprised of hair stylist Adir Abergel and makeup artist Kate Lee, helped bring the dramatic transformation to life, and as it turns out, the actress' elegant bob may have been a last-minute decision. If only we had a time machine. If Jessica Rabbit traveled into the future, she'd come back looking like Jessica Biel at the 2018 Critics' Choice Awards...or at least that's what hairstylist Adir Abergel thinks anyway. "[Jessica's hair] had one big magic wave with a smooth finish toward the bottom," he told E! News. "It was modern version of a classic style." The Sinner star graced the red carpet in a sheer Oscar de la Renta spring 2018 dress, featuring black tulle with ruby and spinel bonded laser-cut leather. Since the dress had a lot of sheer components, the hairstylist wanted to mimic the sheen seen on the leather patches. "I wanted something classic, kind of...
