Sara Haines is a mainstay on the popular talk show The View, but that doesn’t stop her from branching out and working on other shows.
Sara took time away from The View to work with John Quinones for a What Would You Do episode.
This beloved show puts real people in moral dilemma scenarios to see if they will do the right thing, and Sara was excited to be a part of the process.
Now, it seems like Sara may be teasing a return of another of her shows, a game show this time.
Sara has hosted the reboot of The Chase since 2021. Season 3 of the reboot finished last July, and everyone is wondering if the show will be renewed.
The Sun reports that past contestant Victoria Groce, recently on Jeopardy Masters, has shared that The Chase is not renewed or canceled, making what Sara shared on Instagram more relevant.

Victoria Groce handily defeated self-proclaimed “final boss” James Holzhauer and 2024 Tournament of Champions winner Yogesh Raut to become Jeopardy! Masters champion on Wednesday (May 22) and is now opening up about her experience. The Chase star took to the Jeopardy! Reddit forum on Thursday (May 23) for an Ama (Ask Me Anything), where she opened up about her favorite TV shows, how she practiced her buzzer technique, and the shock she felt about being asked back on Jeopardy! Before being invited to (and winning) the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament, Groce had only played two games of Jeopardy! almost 20 years ago. In 2005, she ended David Madden’s impressive run of 19 games but lost in her second episode. However, since then, Groce has become a formidable figure in the trivia community, and in 2022, she joined ABC’s game show The Chase as “The Queen.” But even with those credentials, Groce said she never expected to...

As was evident from the very beginning of this season, it is indeed Victoria Groce who has emerged as the best of the best this time, handily dispensing with self-proclaimed “final boss” James Holzhauer and Yogesh Raut for the $500,000 cash prize. Here’s how it all went down. Game One The first round was a spirited affair, featuring a category with special guest Jason Kelce and some friendly sidechats about the proper pronunciation of proper nouns like Everest and Salt ‘N Pepa. And then there were three. Monday’s edition of Jeopardy! Masters was the second (and final) round of the semifinals, whittling the remaining quartet of Masters down to the three who’ll compete for the big money on Wednesday’s Season 2 finale episode. Here’s a look at how it all shook out. Game Three This round saw Victoria Groce play her last game, going up against James Holzhauer and Amy Schneider. And, in what seems to be just her luck, she found the first round’s Daily Double right away, betting the $1,000 she could without any money in the bank yet. In the category “Short Kingdoms,” the clue was: “In 1814, this historic German state was made into a kingdom for a little while, largely through the influence of England.” While Groce guessed it was Prussia, host Ken Jennings kindly informed her it was actually Hanover, which meant in a surprising turn,...

The semifinals have just begun on Jeopardy! Masters and it’s already a nail-biter. On Friday night’s episode, the match point slates were wiped clean for the four semifinalists — Victoria Groce, Yogesh Raut, James Holzhauer, and Amy Schneider — which meant they all had an equal chance coming into this leg of the competition to advance to the finals. However, one contestant got off to a very rocky start indeed, and it remains to be seen whether they’ll be able to bounce back from such a severe stumble. Here’s a look at everything that happened on the first night of Jeopardy! Masters semifinals. Game One This game saw James Holzhauer, Yogesh Raut, and Victoria Groce in competition. Things got off to a bright start for Groce, who previously led the pack in the initial rounds. First, she got the first Daily Double (wagering and winning $3,600 on Stanford Benet...

Coming into the sixth night of Jeopardy! Masters Season 2, there were a couple of foregone conclusions: Victoria Groce (with 13 match points) and Yogesh Raut (with 10) were already qualified to play in the semifinals; unless James Holzhauer (who had 6) got shut out again, he was likely to advance as well; it was bound to be a close contest between Amy Schneider and Mattea Roach (also 5) for that fourth spot; and Matt Amodio (with just 1 single match point) had zero chance of playing past Wednesday night’s games. So how did the sextet of champions fare in the final night of Masters games? Here’s a look at the highlights. Game Eleven Raut, Holzhauer, and Amodio were matched up for their final “regular” game of this season, but, as mentioned above, the latter was necessarily going to come in sixth (still taking home a healthy $50k prize for his troubles), and Holzhauer...

The fifth episode of Jeopardy! Masters aired on Monday night (May 13) and saw Victoria Groce continue her dominant ways in Game 9, while underdog Mattea Roach made a surprise comeback in Game 10. Plus, what next for James Holzhauer after another crushing defeat? Here’s a look at what went down in this two-game episode of Jeopardy! Masters. Game Nine Groce added to her tournament lead in the first game of the evening as she faced off against Jeopardy! super-champ Matt Amodio and reigning Masters champion James Holzhauer. Heading into the game, Groce had already secured her spot in the semi-finals, while Holzhauer was in a solid position to advance. The pressure was all on Amodio, currently at sixth place on the leaderboard, who needed a win to keep himself in the running. However, yet again, the game came down to a battle between the two Chase stars, Groce and Holzhauer. Groce...

Jeopardy! super-champ Amy Schneider is ready to respond head-on to criticism about her inclusion in the current Masters tournament. Season 2 of Jeopardy! Masters kicked off last week with six of the game’s most elite players battling it out for the coveted title and $500,000 grand prize. Those competing include reigning Masters champ James Holzhauer, last year’s runners-up Matt Amodio & Mattea Roach, 2024 Tournament of Champions winner Yogesh Raut, and Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament winner Victoria Groce. The sixth and final spot went to Schneider as a Producers’ Pick, despite placing fifth in Masters Season 1 and losing the Jit! to Groce. Some fans felt the spot should have gone to someone else who hasn’t had as many opportunities as Schneider. “We just saw her in Jit, whats the point if she can lose that and just move on anyways,” said one commenter on the Jeopardy! Reddit forum when the line-up was first announced.

Groce is a pro-quizzer who appears on The Chase as “The Queen.” During the player anecdotes, Jennings addressed Groce, saying, “And our viewers probably remember you from The Chase, where you were known as The Queen.” “Are,” Groce replied, highlighting how Jennings spoke in the past tense. “Are, sorry,” Jennings replied as Groce laughed and told him, “That’s alright.” “Thank you for taking time out of your busy regal schedule to be with us on Masters,” the host added. Fans also picked up on Jennings’ wording and took to social media to share their concerns. “Is The Chase cancelled or not?...

There's a lot to like about Jeopardy tournaments that bring back the show's top-performing contestants and pit them head-to-head in single-elimination battle royales.
But as the film studio execs who kept blowing up the superhero franchise until it exploded have recently learned the hard way, too much of a good thing can lead to alienated audiences.
And now more than ever, once you lose 'em, it's hard to win 'em back.
To be clear, there's no indication that Jeopardy's recent string of tournaments -- the longest in series history -- has had a negative impact on the show's ratings.
But "tournament fatigue" has become a buzzword in the Jeopardy-obsessed corners of social media, and media outlets have begun running editorials alleging that the show has lost its way by focusing too much on past victors.

2022 Tournament of Champions winner Amy Schneider is the sixth and final member of the Jeopardy! Masters line-up after landing the coveted Producers’ Pick spot. However, some fans are not happy about it. The announcement was made on Friday, April 12, at the Inside Jeopardy Live! Event at Hudson Yards in New York City. Schneider, who competed in last year’s Masters, will join returning champ James Holzhauer, Season 1 finalists Matt Amodio and Mattea Roach, 2024 Toc winner Yogesh Raut, and Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament winner Victoria Groce. The tournament will be prime-time on ABC, starting May 1. Schneider’s inclusion has been met with backlash. While the 40-game winner is a fan favorite, she had just competed in the Jit!, where she finished as runner-up. Many fans felt this should have disqualified her from Masters. “Honestly not a fan of this decision,” wrote one fan on the Jeopardy! Reddit forum. “We just saw her in Jit,...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament final.] After months and months of tournaments, new players and regular games will return to Jeopardy! on Wednesday, April 10. This welcome change in format is brought to you by the thrilling conclusion to the first-ever Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament, which crowned its first winner on Tuesday, April 9. Playing in the Jit finals were Victoria Groce, Amy Schneider, and Andrew He. Groce scored the most correct answers in the first round (she answered seven correctly compared to Schneider’s four and He’s 2), but a Daily Double loss dropped her down to second place by the time of the first break. The scores at that point were Schneider at $3,400, Groce at $2,600, and He at $1,400. Groce’s speedy buzzing got her seven more correct answers after the break. By the end of the first round, she had 14 correct answers and one incorrect. Schneider had six correct answers, zero incorrect. And He had ...

[Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the April 8 episode of Jeopardy!] The Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament will go to Game 3, and while two of the finalists—stay-at-home dad Andrew He, writer and television personality Victoria Groce, and writer Amy Schneider—each have one win, fans are already predicting who will walk away with it all. Heading into the second game, Schneider already had one win after what host Ken Jennings called “an epic battle” with Groce on Friday. Schneider needed the last clue in the Double Jeopardy! round to keep the win within reach, Jennings noted, and was the only one to answer Final Jeopardy! correctly to win by $801. The first player to two wins is named Champion, take home $100,000, and earn a spot in the next Jeopardy! Masters. Schneider and Groce were tied at the first commercial break during the Jeopardy! round, but the former (thanks to a true Daily Double) held the lead at the end of it ($8,800 ...

Victoria Groce played spoiler on Thursday night’s (April 4) Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament as she eliminated fan favorite Sam Buttrey and the formidable Matt Jackson to secure her spot in the Jit finals. She now has a chance to cement herself in the Jeopardy! history books when she takes on 2022 Tournament of Champions winner Amy Schneider and Toc runner-up Andrew He. The first to two wins will be crowned Jit champion and earn a spot in Jeopardy! Masters. A one-day Jeopardy! champion back in 2005, Groce is best remembered for ending the 19-game streak of super-champ David Madden. Still, her inclusion in the Jit after an almost 20-year layoff came as a surprise to many. So, who exactly is Groce? And why was she picked to return to the Alex Trebek Stage? Many Jeopardy! viewers are happy that the Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament final won’t be a repeat of the 2022 Tournament of Champions finals; however, they’re sad it came at the expense of fan-favorite Sam Buttrey. After super-champs Amy Schneider and Andrew He secured their spots in the Jit finals, it was up to Buttrey to make it a full-on 2022 Toc rematch. The beloved university professor faced off against Victoria Groce and Matt Jackson on Thursday (April 4) night, but Groce came out on top, knocking Buttrey out of the competition. Fans took to social media to praise Buttrey for his performance and good-natured attitude. Some were already anticipating his return for next year’s Jit. “Jeopardy could invite Sam [to] Jit every year and I wouldn’t be upset,” wrote one fan on the Jeopardy! [Warning: The below contains Major spoilers for the April 4 episode of Jeopardy!] Heading into the last semifinals of Jeopardy!’s Invitational Tournament, fans knew what a win from one of the three players could mean. In the April 4 episode, Victoria Groce, Sam Buttrey, and Matt Jackson faced off, and immediately at the start of it, host Ken Jennings detailed what Buttrey winning could mean. “So far, the Jit finals are shaping up to look a lot like the 2022 Toc [Tournament of Champions] finals or last year’s Masters field,” Jennings noted. “Because Amy Schneider and Andrew He have both secured spots in the finals. Sam Buttrey, that could bode well for you today, but as you know, you’re facing some tough competitors in Matt and Victoria.” Early on, it was an evenly matched game, with the first half of the Jeopardy! round ending with Buttrey and Jackson both with $2200 and Groce with $2000; Groce pulled out in the lead heading ...

Jeopardy! contestant Victoria Groce buzzed herself to victory during Friday’s eighth quarterfinal of the ongoing Invitational Tournament, and fans of the game show are applauding her Daily Double-less win. “I’m very impressed with Victoria’s performance today!” one viewer wrote in a Reddit discussion thread for Friday’s episode, after Victoria trounced Ben Ingram, a business control specialist originally from Florence, South Carolina, and Dhruv Gaur, a grad student from Cambridge, Massachusetts (and the contestant who once made Alex Trebek choke up). Victoria, a writer and television personality from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, ended the game with $28,801 after a correct Final Jeopardy! response. It wasn’t a runaway game, though, since Dhruv had $14,400 going into Final Jeopardy! He responded incorrectly and ended up in third place with $5,999, behind Ben, who scored $7,654. “Victoria was on fire with the buzzer and Ben and Dhruv could hardly ring in,” another person wrote. “You...
