Family Feud is often thought of as a family-friendly show. Based on some of the questions and answers, that isn’t always the case. In a recent episode, host Steve Harvey shamed a contestant for their particularly raunchy response. So, what did they have to say?
Family Feud Not Always So Family-Friendly
Even though Family Feud is generally thought of as a family-friendly program, that isn’t always the case. Veteran watchers will remember host Richard Dawson, who would kiss all of the female contestants. This type of behavior absolutely would not pass today. However, the one common thread is that there are still some raunchy answers to raunchy questions.
As Family Feud watchers have seen, even seemingly innocent survey questions can generate some Nsfw answers. The one major difference with the show today is that those moments regularly get made into shorter clips, which then go viral on social media.

It seems that Family Feud has gotten a lot raunchier recently, at least as far as many fans are concerned. The questions often offer a little racier answers than usual. Some players also give some Nsfw answers — even in questions that don’t warrant those kinds of answers.
However, some fans wonder if the popular game show isn’t moving a little too far away from family-friendly daily entertainment.
Fans Blast Family Feud For Raunchy Questions/Answers
Family Feud has more moments than ever before that fans consider raunchy. Some of the moments are warranted. There was a question about what people might want to try if they had never done it. A guy said “mé·nage à trois,” which shook up host Steve Harvey. However, “threesome” was in the answers.
Other moments come out of nowhere. In one episode, the question was what people might bury in their backyard.

Here in the USA, we tend to cling to certain stereotypes about our Canadian neighbors. That they’re exceptionally polite. That they’re obsessed with ice hockey. That they say the word “eh” a lot. Some of that may even be true. But there’s one cliché aboot — um, about — the Great White North that turns out to be demonstrably false: The place is much more diverse than you might think.

Let’s Make a Deal took their game show to the streets, stopping random people to participate in various games on the spot.
The show, hosted by Wayne Brady, is known for asking contestants to choose between potential deals.
Games might include choosing one of three doors or deciding between a mystery box and another prize.
There’s also a component where the host asks contestants if they have a particular object in their purse or bag.
Announcer Jonathan Mangum brought that and other games to the street, where individuals could win cash on the spot.
The clip also seemed to be a hit with Let’s Make a Deal fans, and many demanded more from the show.

A contestant kicked off a recent episode of Wheel of Fortune with a bang, so to speak, with a shocking yet humorous response.
Tavaris Williams rose to instant fame when he went head-to-head with his competitors for a $1,000 toss-up round.
The Port St. Lucie, Florida resident had his buzzer in hand, ready to solve the puzzle in the “Phrase” category as veteran tile-turner Vanna White, 67, began revealing letters on the board.
When the puzzle revealed, “_ _ _ _ / I _ / T _ E / B _ _ T!” Tavaris was certain he had the correct solution and tapped his buzzer.
When host Pat Sajak, 77, called on Tavaris to answer, his response sent the studio audience and his challengers into a tizzy and stunned the longtime Wheel of Fortune host.
“Right in the butt?” Tavaris responded, somewhat questioning his response.

Family Feud is a show where, as viewers, it’s all about expecting the unexpected. For host Steve Harvey, he was left speechless by a recent contestant’s response. So, what did the contestant say that had Harvey at a loss for words?
Family Feud Always Leaves Viewers Guessing
One of the many reasons why viewers keep coming back for more Family Feud after decades of being on the air is, you never know what kind of response you’re going to get from a family member. It could be the most innocent question under the sun, and yet, there is going to be a Nsfw answer on the board somewhere.

Steve Harvey has had enough of Family Feud contestants’ shenanigans.
A recent contestant on the popular weeknight game show gave a convoluted answer to a survey question, which confused and irritated Steve.
Steve stood at the podium for a faceoff, asking the two competitors to “name something you’d hate to be wearing when you get locked out of your hotel room.”
A contestant named Mandi tried to put some points on the board for her team by asking Steve, “Does their girlfriend’s clothes count as thongs?”
As it turned out, “Undies/Thongs” was already on the board in the number-one spot, so Mandi was unsure whether her answer would be considered identical and earn her team an “X.”
Mandi’s question garnered some chuckles from the crowd, but Steve was clearly confused by her garbled response, replying, “Huh?”

Family Feud fans were recently taken aback by an unexpected, explicit response to a question from Steve Harvey. So, what did a contestant say that had viewers in stitches?
Family Feud Fans Never Know What Responses They Will Get
Along with watching Family Feud for Steve Harvey and all the jokes he makes with the answers participants give him on the show, a big draw for viewers is never quite knowing what someone will say when they are asked a question. Steve Harvey wasn’t playing around when he laid down the law to a Family Feud contestant.
Steve knows that not all of his contestants are going to play a straight-laced game.
In fact, Family Feud viewers have grown accustomed to some off-the-wall survey answers from competitors.
Such was the case during a recent episode of Family Feud when Steve asked a player named Kate a survey question.
“Name someone you don’t mind disrobing in front of,” Steve proposed to Kate.
Without hesitation, Kate replied, “My kids.”

Filming romantic or intimate scenes can be challenging for some actors, a problem often mitigated by the presence of an intimacy coordinator on set. However, it’s a luxury the beloved singer Dolly Parton did not have while filming her debut movie. After making reigns as a singer-songwriter with hits like Jolene and Here You Come Again, Parton embarked on her journey on the silver screen, debuting with the 1980 comedy film 9 to 5.

And she has shared that she was nervous to film some of the love scenes opposite her friend’s husband for the film.

A couple of Family Feud contestants took their enthusiasm too far, and host Steve Harvey wasn’t having it.
When it came time for the Reischel family to play the Fast Money round, they sent Jenni and Jessie to the stage to try and win $20,000 for their team.
Steve called over to the Reischel’s podium, announcing, “Hey, you ain’t gonna believe it, Jenni, but you did it!”
“Gimme two people right now. Let’s go,” Steve said as Jenni and her teammate Jessie approached the stage. “We’re playing. We got Jenni. [This is] Jenni’s dream come true.”
Jenni was clearly over the moon to be joining Steve Harvey in front of the audience, as evidenced by her non-stop dance moves.
As Jessie joined Jenni on the opposite side of Steve, she danced incessantly.

Located 25 miles south of downtown Atlanta, in Fayetteville, Trilith Studios is the nation’s largest purpose-built studio complex, with a long list of clients ranging from Marvel movies such as “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” to the latest iteration of the game show “Family Feud.” Now, it’s expanding outside its gates with Trilith Live, a seven-acre entertainment complex set to open next month adjacent to the studio in the Town at Trilith, its 235-acre master-planned development with 300 homes — and room for 450 more — a large percentage of which house entertainment workers.
Trilith Live will feature a cinema complex, an 1,800-seat auditorium, 120,000 square-feet of restaurants, shops and office space and, most significant, a pair of 25,000-square-foot stages for productions using live studio audiences, such as reality competition and game shows.

Despite being one of the longest-running live-action sitcoms of all time, you don't hear much about "My Three Sons" anymore. The series ran for an impressive 12 seasons beginning in 1960, producing 380 episodes of wholesome sitcom scenarios during a decade of tremendous upheaval. "The real world was quite tumultuous and revolution was in the air," star Barry Livingston told CBS News in a 2009 retrospective, "and we were still eating Uncle Charley's cookies and having milk."
"My Three Sons" doesn't have the enduring legacy of more thought-provoking shows of the '60s and '70s, like "M*A*S*H" and "The Twilight Zone," nor is it typically mentioned in the same breath as all-time-great comedies like "I Love Lucy" and "The Dick Van Dyke Show." Despite the show's absence from most abridged versions of TV history, though, it still connected with audiences in its time: the series about a widower raising three sons as a...

Family Feud contestants often get away with being awarded correct answers when, in reality, their responses don’t match what’s on the board, and viewers have had enough.
Typically, Family Feud teams only need to come up with a few answers to clear the board and take the win, so oftentimes, those survey answers are quite specific.
So when a recent contestant gave a roundabout answer but was still given the credit for a correct response, Family Feud viewers sounded off.
A contestant named Mandi from the Littleton family took her turn at her family’s podium and was asked by host Steve Harvey to name something “Superman would take off his cape to do.”
“He would take off his cape when he, um, goes to like a charity function,” was Mandi’s reply, but she quickly realized it didn’t come out exactly the way she wanted it to.

Family Feud likes providing suggestive questions that lure contestants into giving surprising answers, but even host Steve Harvey was shocked by two dirty responses on last Thursday’s (April 25) episode. In a clip shared on the show’s official Instagram page on Friday, April 26, Harvey asks the Maye family to “Name something you stuck your finger in more times than you can count.” A contestant, whom Harvey calls Pastor Warrick, looks uncomfortable as he tries to cover up the microphone with his hand. The long-time host then leans in so Warrick can whisper his answer. But it’s hard to whisper on a TV set equipped with numerous microphones, and everyone hears his guess of “Sexual stuff.” The studio audience immediately starts laughing as a shocked Harvey has to take a moment to collect himself and walks away from the podium. Unfortunately for the Maye family, the answer isn’t on the board.

Fans await the cast reveal for Dancing with the Stars Season 33, as each season brings various stars from acting, singing, social media, and sports.
Many sports stars have captured the coveted Mirrorball Trophy, now named the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy, in the late DWTS judge’s honor.
Rumors suggested the show’s producers wanted to score big by bringing basketball superstar Caitlin Clark in for the upcoming season.
Clark captured much attention throughout the college basketball season, and DWTS desperately wanted her as part of the cast.
However, an insider says despite them “bending over backwards” to get Clark on the show, she “respectfully declined.”
That was due to Clark having other things to focus on, including her basketball career, and she has her eye on a few shows on which she’d prefer to appear.

During a round of Family Feud, Steve read a survey question to one of the teams, and things quickly got out of control.
“Give me a word or phrase that means naked,” Steve asked Arvell, who was up for his family’s team.

One thing is clear from a quick scroll through a cable TV guide or paying attention to the featured show commercials—the scarcity of family dramas.
Once that point is brought up, it's hard not to wonder what that says about our culture and society as a whole.
There was a time when families sat down and watched TV together.
Some of my fondest memories include watching Friday Night Lights and Gilmore Girls with my parents.
However, nowadays, the idea is becoming a foreign concept if the kids are under 18 or at least not teenagers.
There are many motives behind the switch to crime-focused content, whether true or procedural, hospital dramas, comedies, and series full of mature content.

Once that point is brought up, it's hard not to wonder what that says about our culture and society as a whole.

A Family Feud contestant’s answer was so off the wall that it stopped Steve Harvey in his tracks and left him speechless.
Steve Harvey is known for his quick wit, so it’s not often that he is lost for words.
But a contestant named Peggy pulled off an unlikely task, leaving Steve stuck dumb.
During the Voron family’s Fast Money round, Peggy was the first of her team’s family members to answer Steve’s rapid-fire questions.
Peggy took her spot on stage next to Steve as her 20-second countdown began, and Steve read her five questions off his cue card.
Peggy breezed through her first three questions, but when Steve got to the fourth one, her answer threw him for a loop.

Call it a daytime double.
Steve Harvey, who has become an almost ubiquitous presence on TV through his host duties of both a daytime talk show as well as the long-running game show “Family Feud,” is teaming up with Dr. Phil.
Harvey will provide production, talent development and other services for Phil McGraw’s new TV venture, Merit Street Media, which expects to broadcast a full programming schedule via a partnership with religious media company Trinity Broadcasting. Harvey will become an equity partner in Merit Street under terms of the new deal.
“Steve and I have been personal friends for over a decade, and it’s always the best experience when we work together,” said McGraw, in a statement. “It’s easy to say that he’s the funniest human I’ve ever met,” he added. “But his kindness and his passion to help others are really unmatched.”

Steve Harvey has been hosting Family Feud for 15 years, and he credits his success to being allowed to be himself at work.
Before joining weeknight television, Steve worked as a comedian, and his talent is evident in his job as the host of Family Feud.
To commemorate his career milestone, Steve recently sat down with Today’s Donna Farizan to talk about his tenure on the popular game show.
“Fifteen years is a long time to do anything, especially on television,” Steve admitted. “You don’t get to stay on television for 15 years at nothing.”
When Donna asked Steve what he attributes his long-term success to, the 67-year-old revealed that Family Feud’s producer gave him free rein, which allowed his true talents to shine through.
“The original producers and the original executive producer, Gabby Johnson, she gave me the free reins,” Steve explained. “She said, ‘Okay, do it your way.

Steve Harvey is sexy, and he knows it … at least one part of his body is, he says.
The Family Feud host got in on the fun during a recent episode when a contestant was asked to name a sexy body part.
Terren had her turn at the podium to answer a survey question as Steve asked her, “What do you really think is the sexiest part of a man?”
Terren answered the question with confidence, telling Steve, “I think the sexiest part of a man is his lips.”
Terren’s answer earned her applause from her teammates as well as the studio audience, and she seemed sure that her response would be on the board.
But, before Steve revealed whether Terren’s answer made it to the top answers on the board, he had some fun playing along with her reply.
