A unique documentary
"Qatar: el Mundial a sus pies" is a documentary divided into three chapters, in which different topics are dealt with (although all of them are linked by the circumstances that have led to the World Cup in Qatar) and, more importantly, each of them conveys the information with a different character and structure.
The first episode, which serves as an introduction, does not offer much new information compared to other documentaries on the 2022 World Cup. On the positive side, we can highlight the important cast of guests who take part in the documentary and how well-structured the information is. On the other hand, the old TV effect that has been added to each of the guests' interventions, together with the very poor implementation of the supposedly hilarious elements, mean that this episode only deserves a pass mark.
However, I hope that readers will not be disappointed after this first opinion, because the second episode is truly majestic. The products choose not to appear for a single second, not even as narrators, and all the audio-visual weight falls on a very emotional focus on former workers in Qatar or relatives of workers killed during the construction of the stadiums. A sublime episode.
The third episode is also quite interesting as it highlights Gianni Infantino's shenanigans. This is quite new, as most documentaries attack Sepp Blatter while praising Infantino and talking about a supposed "change".
