Rebel Moon - Chapter Two: Curse of Forgiveness (2024)
How can it be worst than the 1st
In a world where mankind travels in spaceships next to black holes, a bunch of people and animals dragging a spaceship around must be the lowest point of the movie.
Story is total trash. Didn't make sense from the first part. Ain't getting better in the second.
Characters are totally unrelatable. Their backstories and motivations complete nonsense, irrelevant and told in a very boring manner.
The dialogues are so cringe and bland it makes you turn off the volume.
And how easy it must be to make a 2 hours movie when 70% of it is slow motion.
How can you have a carriage that floats on thin area, but needs a horse like animal to drag it around?
Resident Evil (2022)
I hope this nightmare ends with Season 1
Seriously what a waste of resources to make this series.
The first episodes start with something promising about a new outbreak of the T-Virus, in typical Resident Evil style, and how the world ended.
Only to drag us through 8 long episodes with no clear point, besides being a drama between two sisters, failing even to convey us why this drama exists in the first place.
Short story short. No need to watch this, we don't get to know what caused the outbreak and how the world ended.
On top of that, the acting of the adult lead actresses is really bad, they fail to convey any emotion for any of the situations they are getting into.
Which are ridiculous themselves. Stupid decisions upon stupid decisions and plot points that leave us with a feeling of wtf.
Very few Resident Evil vibes. Even the T-Virus itself, is vague how it fits into the whole picture.
And then there are the clones. Wtf? What was the whole point of those?
Did not see any benefit of having them in the plot.
Really disappointed on how it turned out and I hope the creators are seeing the ratings here and second guess any decision for season 2.
You need to remake season 1.
The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014)
Horrible, exaggerated, cheesy, pompous, sacrilege
This movie is the worst adaptation of Tolkien books so far. We expect a few alterations compared to the original book and the Tolkien world, but not this sacrilege of an elf loving back a Dwarf. This is absurd. Nowhere in Tolkien universe there is recorded an elf and dwarf Union. Only dwarfs may be taken aback by the beauty of elves and maybe even loving them, but not the other way around.
There were a lot of useless stories just to allow the book to span over three movies. The dialogs are so cheesy and cliché that you just want to throw up 70% of the movie. Which is more than half full of cheap CGI. And this leads to the worst representation of orcs in the movies. Really..... orcs marching in formation wearing similar armor and taller than men? Not to mention the gargoyle looking bats and the earth worms. And the Eagles at the end....
And huge strategic mishaps, like in the battle placing the army of men (the lake town people) right in the middle of the formation. Which happens again when Thorin and the rest of the dwarfs sheltered in the mountain, decide to drop off all their armor and charge out in the battle to save their friends, again in the front middle of the formation. That's what you always do. Place your weakest element in the front middle of a battle formation.
I am glad this is over and I hope that this drama does not repeat itself in the future with other Tolkien adaptations.
