- The nymph statuettes are copies of the "Salmacis" Nymph by the Monegasque sculptor, François-Joseph Bosio (1768-1845), the original of which is being shown at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
- In 1979, the International Film Television and Video Market was created. It is today considered one of the top four world program markets, which brings in buyers and sellers from over 85 countries of the world. (as of 2000)
