As a result, Somu accompanies Vicky to Calcutta, gets a job as a laborer in his mill, befriends his fellow-workers, gets some monetary relief to injured workers, amongst other benefits, is elected as the union leader replacing Bipinlal. With Somu as the union leader and Vicky as the boss there is no stopping these two - until Damodar finds out and decides to put a stop to Vicky being influenced by Somu's middle-class ideas and ideals. Damodar starts a chain of events that get out of control, events that may well see the death of one of the friends at the hands of the other. Will Vicky's and Somu's friendship see them through or will it also be a casualty?

Ajaatshatru is enraged at this, he gathers together his armies and storms the unsuspecting Vaishali and virtually burns the city down, killing almost everyone in it. This accomplished, he rushes to free his beloved from the dungeons. He does set her free but it is not the same Amrapali; this Amrapali is quite different. She is not at all thrilled to be in the presence of her conqueror lover. She teaches him what he won in the battle ground but what he lost in reality.

Tortured and held in a cell, Sagar does not know that Raja's life is in danger by killer(s) who believe Raja saw them commit a murder.

Then Sultan receive news that Razoulli was killed by Khalid - Sultan then swears to destroy Khalid. When Sultan gets informed that Samir and his beloved, Zarina is returning from abroad he attempt to abduct them albeit unsuccessful. Shortly after Sultan and Khalid begins their fierce battle against each other - a battle between father and son - fully well knowing that only one shall survive.

Then a woman named Bhikni enters her life - she is called Rudaali - one who accepts money in turn for loud laments, weeping, & beating of the chest when a rich man passes away for a small fee, some milk, oil, and flour. Bhikni would like Shanichari to also be a Rudaali, but Shanichari eyes are always dry. When Bhikni is called for a day in another town, it is then Shanichari receives word that Ram Avtar is no more and she is called to be a Rudaali. Knowing fully well that she cannot shed tears, Shanichari does attend the funeral - and it is here that she will receive the news that may bring real tears to her eyes.

After a number of misadventures, Raj finally accomplishes his goal, and qualifies to be a suitable groom for Kiran. Then things change abruptly with the arrival of Topichand's dad, a wealthy man, Thakur Rana, who strongly opposes Kiran's marriage with any gangster. A hapless Raj now decides to cleanse himself of his gangster image, with hilarious and unpredictable results.
