- Foreign directors was filming in Paraguay since 1905, but "Alma paraguaya" (1925)is the first film was made by paraguayans: the director Hipólito Carrón and his assistant camera and his nephew Agustín Carrón Quell.
- "Abuso sexual" was brocasted by the network SNT / Praguay in 1997.
- "La Guerra del Chaco" is the only one paraguayan film about the war against Bolivia (1932-1935). The director of this film was the assistant camera of the first paraguayan director Hipolito Carrón. This is one of the first films of Agustín Carrón Quell, and the most important. He was filming for months in the dry Chaco's territory, where many soldiers died because they didn't have water to drink.
