- Berlin. A prostitute, a bus driver, an angel, a policewoman, a photographer, a young Turkish woman, a politician - their nights and days are linked by fate.
- Surviving the Terror takes us right inside the treachery of terror, into the trauma of two Israeli bus drivers both victims of terrorist attacks. On March 11, 1978, eleven Al Fatah guerrillas hijacked two buses, one of them driven by the 31-year-old Avi Perez. The passengers, including many children, were on a day-trip to the North. On the way to Tel Aviv, 35 of these innocent people were killed and 100 injured in what is considered one of the deadliest attacks in Israel, known as the bloody "Sabbath Massacre". Avi survived but even after 25 years the terrible memories, the feelings of guilt for having survived as well as the ever-present fear of a new attack never leave him.
