- TV anchor life unravels when she discovers her dad become the victim of a romance scam. Making matters worse, the scammer is accused of murdering men she dated and the anchor teams with the local prosecutor to investigate the crime.

Love of Sandstorm, along with Life Plan A and B, is part of the "Q Series" lineup of short dramas that began airing on TTV on Aug 19, 2016. The first segment in the series, Love of Sandstorm consists of seven episodes and is directed by Kitamura Toyoharu, the genius that fans will remember for his work on the classic It Started With a Kiss. The series has garnered much attention prior to its several releases for pairing bigger stars with talented newcomers, such as veteran actor Chris Wu sharing the screen with newcomers Chen Yu and Deng Yukai. Love of Sandstorm concluded on September 30, 2016, at which point it was replaced by Life Plan A and B.
