- A radical animated retelling of the holiday classic that starts with a Victorian performance of the Charles Dickens tale before diving into the imagination of one of the children in the audience, taking the story to a darker fantasy realm.
- To many, Don McCullin is the greatest living war photographer, often cited as an inspiration for today's photojournalists. For the first time, McCullin speaks candidly about his three-decade career covering wars and humanitarian disasters on virtually every continent and the photographs that often defined historic moments. From 1969 to 1984, he was the Sunday Times of London's star photographer, where he covered stories from the civil war in Cyprus to the war in Vietnam, from the man-made famine in Biafra to the plight of the homeless in the London of the swinging sixties. Exploring not only McCullin's life and work, but how the ethos of journalism has changed throughout his career, the film is a commentary on the history of photojournalism told through the lens of one of its most acclaimed photographers.
- This striking and moving documentary from BAFTA nominated directors Jacqui and David Morris traces the extraordinary life of Rudolf Nureyev. From his birth in the 5th class carriage of a trans-Siberian train, to his dramatic leap to freedom in the West at the height of the Cold War, and unprecedented adulation as the most famous dancer in the world. The film highlights Nureyev's unlikely yet legendary partnership with Margot Fonteyn and charts his meteoric rise to the status of global cultural phenomenon. Nureyev's life plays out like the sweeping plot of a classic Russian novel. His story is Russia's story. Blending never-before-seen footage, with an original score by award-winning composer Alex Baranowski and spellbinding newly choreographed dance tableaux directed by Royal Ballet alumnus, Russell Maliphant, Nureyev is a theatrical and cinematic experience like no other. This is a portrayal as unique as the man himself. There will never be another Nureyev.
- Before the Internet. Before Social Media. Before Breaking News. The victims of Thalidomide had to rely on something even more extraordinary to fight their corner: Investigative Journalism. This is the story of how Harold Evans fought and won the battle of his and many other lives.
- Salav Vakarchuk is the lead singer of Okean Elzy, Ukraines most successful rock band. He is a former politician and activist who has a PhD in theoretical physics. Slava has been compared to Bruce Springsteen and Paul McCartney and his songs are an important part of Ukrainian identity, part of the country's cultural DNA. He is now channeling his talents to liberate his country. After completing more than 200 concerts for the troops, Slava was encouraged to take his band on a worldwide tour in order to bolster the morale of Ukrainian refugees living abroad. An international coalition of artists' stepped-up to support them including ColdPlay. Another reason for the tour was to leave a lasting legacy in the minds of the rest of the world of Ukrainian culture - a unique culture Russia has been trying to eradicate for centuries. The film will document the creative process by which Slava and his musicians produce their music. It will also seek to understand what inspires him artistically, both before the invasion, and in the challenging times his country faces now.
