- This film captures a moment in time during 9/11 by documenting the phenomenon of the Bellevue Hospital's "wall of prayers." It is my hope that it will allow viewers to spend a few moments quietly getting to know the people who perished on 9/11, and to recall a unique moment in history.
- The JAZZ PASSENGERS are a fantastical fusion of post-bop and musical comedy, once called a "perverse mainstream...hard-bop group as imagined by Frank Zappa." They first broke out on the New York City avant-garde scene with a hybrid of Charles Mingus-influenced original tunes complete with lyrics and/or entertaining stories. Early Jazz Passengers sets and recordings involved complicated and soulful compositions often featuring collaborations with Elvis Costello, Debbie Harry, and Mavis Staples.
