- Keat is terminally ill. His wife Nancy had to quit her full time job just to take care of him. Keat is used in into taking care of himself and other people, not the other way around. With Keat's situation, he suffers with depression and frustration. Feeling helpless, Keat begins to see life differently. Not wanting to be a burden, Keat hides his pain away from Nancy, unintentionally pushing her away. Nancy, as she battles with her husband's insecurities, tries to hide her pain and patiently understands Keat's agonizing situation. She remains to be optimistic, compassionate, and hopeful with their current hardships. Sometimes, life is a test. Some may think it is a challenge and that we have to face it, others think it taunts us. Whatever it is, nevertheless, life is a struggle.
