- It is springtime for everyone, however Prince Ahmed, a fine young boy living in the most wonderful palace existing, does not rejoice over it. On the contrary, he drags along languidly from one lesson by Eben Bonabben, his wise tutor, to another. Today, it cannot be denied that Ahmed is very learned : he knows everything about everything, including talking with birds. No, not everything mind you. There is ONE realm that is not his : the kingdom of the heart. The reason is obvious, although unknown to the prince himself : on the day of his birth, the astrologers of the court predicted that terrible disasters would arise if Ahmed should ever find love.

His life and filmmaking are inseparable and in LIFE AND FILM Vojtech himself, from his home in New York and through the visits to his old friends, will recount his own story, from the Nazi invasion in Czechoslovakia to the Soviet invasion, subsequent exile and his arrival to New York years later. In filmmaking he lived success and got to live and work with the most internationally important filmmakers, musicians and writers of the time. Even if his constant social and political compromise obligued him to exile and made him suffer three KGB attacks against his life, Vojtech always kept faithful to his believes, even if that took him to oblivion. "I never went for money, I always went for friends and for what I think is fair and truthful," says Vojtech, who still, at his age, keeps making films: "film is my message and I will do it until I die, when my job is done my time to go will arrive."
- Pamplona, 1973. Eusebio Luquin, a police inspector who never loses any sleep over his work, is asked to solve, along with his new detective, Fermín, the rape and murder of a young woman near the army barracks. The army, however, offers them little support in their investigations. Nevertheless, a recent photograph of the victim uncovers a vital clue, and the prime suspect turns out to be the husband of Elvira, a kitchen worker at the barracks. But just as it appears that everything has been resolved, a shocking series of events re-opens a case in which it seems some people are keen to keep quiet while the rest are keen that no questions are asked.

AGIAN / MAYBE is a ping-pong contemplation, with music, of the five histories behind the whole, and makes a guess of its own at possible outcomes.
