- Meet Pastor Samuel Metelus, a man with a vision for empowering Haiti's youth and changing lives by building a private school in Haiti's southern region of Torbeck. Produced by the Haiti Ministry of Mariners Church, the video follows Samuel as he describes his dream for the 50+ kids at the Glory Glory Center, his community, and his country. Since 2010, the Haiti Ministry has been working alongside Pastor Samuel. Today, it has joined forces with two other southern California non-profits-Evolution Haiti and Harvest Craft-to raise funds for Sam's Private School Initiative. When completed, the school will educate 1,000 Haitian students per year, create opportunities for further education and employment, will give back to the community, and will be self-sustaining while also financially sustaining the Glory Glory Center and a host of other community development initiatives.
