- In parallel, the hypnotic beat of this video art piece commemorates the amalgam of disparate memories, which I associate with every area of the eclectic city of Los Angeles. Ultimately, dance is a medium for liberating myself from the chains of attachment, nostalgia and existential angst. The vibrant fragments of absurd details of the LA celebrate the notion of visual pleasure from a female perspective as explored in Laura Mulvey's essay "Visual and Other Pleasures", 'In a world ordered by sexual imbalance, pleasure in looking has been split between active/male and passive/female.' The haunting circular rhythmic and visual structure of this piece likewise pays homage to the theory of Écriture féminine, whereby memory is re-enacted in a fragmented, repetitive and disjointed fashion in line with my everyday stream-of-consciousness process rather than linear, phallocentric fashion in an attempt to my own voice in the realm of video art. As stated by the Écriture féminine theorist, Hélène Cixous in her essay "The Laugh of the Medusa", 'I, too, overflow; - my body knows unheard-of songs.'
- 'Where id was, there ego shall be.' Sigmund Freud My ego is the active, unbeatable rapist. My id is the sensitive subservient object of desire. My superego is the passive observer.
- Filmed in UK locations including London, Cornwall and Suffolk, this short documentary explores the modern day Wicca tradition in England. This project presents a series of interviews with experts, practitioners and the Museum of Witchcraft representatives in Boscastle, Cornwall, as well as present day rituals, dance performances, and Cornish landscapes. The media employed within this initiative will include 16mm film, digital, as well as 2D animation and stop motion. The overarching style of this piece is that of playful experimental juxtapositions of photos, ritual footage and original artwork, which I completed as well as more renowned artists. The underlying themes of this short documentary are the exploration of the historical origins of the contemporary Wicca tradition, the tradition of magick with a k in this context as well as the Wiccan take on the notion of reincarnation.
- This video art piece was screened at the MicroActs Art Space in London in 2019.
- This piece presents a dialogue between two characters, where the director inhabits the self-destructive character of the male subject, who suffers from impostor syndrome through the metaphor of the video game.
- This parody music video won the "Best Music Video Award" at the WMIFF (World Music Indie Film Festival) in the US in January 2018.
- The aim of this video art performance is not to denigrate Islam, but to channel the plea for personal emancipation against the backdrop of ancient Buddhist petroglyphs in the mythical location in the heart of Kazakhstan: Tamgaly Tas.
- A mantra to help one fight against time and space.
- I have spent the past 19 years, battling against depression in pursuit of the state of childhood, which I experienced under the age of 7 years old. When I say "depression", I mean a general state of lethargy. As well as putting myself into precarious situations with people that I never want to see again in order to retrieve this state, I have exercised self-development techniques such as NLP, Neville Goddard's creative visualisation and Landmark. But it is role play and watching RuPaul's Drag Race, which gave me the final push in my struggle. Engaging in my own interpretation of "drag"(woman-to-child) has lead me to realise the ultimate fluidity of human identity. I might look and behave like a biologically defined woman on the outside, but I never related to either gender. As a toddler and teenager, I was disgusted by Barbie dolls, make-up and dating boys. I always felt like a liminal space: like my own version of Edward Said's "Other". So, I relate most to people, who are borderline similarly to the drag queens, who are searching for their true identity. Thanks to all of these weird, disturbing, but liberating experiences, which enabled me to finally exit my lethargic, adult state. This video celebrates my transition back to my childhood state.
- Inspired by my multiple personality disorder, this performance video takes the beautiful backdrop of Ziggy Attias's Chateau Orquevaux art residency to show how one can transcend an everyday, banal and depressed identity to a more uplifted, euphoric and light hearted one through the practice of dance, music and esoteric spiritual studies, similarly to how Alice passed through the "looking glass".
- This short was screened at the prestigious Institute of Contemporary Art (ICA) and Whitechapel Gallery in London as well as "Alive in the Universe" and "Its Liquid" as part of the Venice Biennale 2019.
- A parody of hedonistic consumerism, paying homage to the "jetsetter lifestyle", Instagram models as well as fashion brands, such as Bulgari, Van Cleef and Cartier.
