- Wilsberg: the thriller from Münster.
- Jana decided against a career in medical research in Munich and in favor of a life as a doctor and at the side of her great love Christian in his hometown of Husum. While Christian takes care of large construction projects as a project developer, Jana runs her own practice and ensures the family a good income. Her life seems perfect: her marriage is still passionate even after many years, she is involved in her daughter Lotta's school and is always there when she is needed. Jana is a woman people trust. Christian's old friends have also become her friends. But one morning, when Jana notices a long blond hair on her husband's scarf, everything changes: Suddenly she begins to doubt Christian's loyalty, but is unable to confront her husband with her suspicions. Their sovereignty is eroding day by day and distrust takes hold like a malignant boil. Jana throws all her principles overboard, secretly checks Christian's cell phone and his e-mails, follows him after work and finds: Nothing. Only when she finally searches his car does Jana discover a secret, the extent of which shakes her to the core.

- On the way home juvenile Franziska Upholt bumps on her bike into Wilsberg and tells him her child was kept away from birth by her parents to be adopted. Wilsberg finds the adoptive parents: Gunnar and Suzanne Frau Weltenbrink, who run a construction firm. Baby Lisa is kidnapped shortly after, then Wilsberg finds Franziska staged the clash to get his help for free. Georg and Alex are arrested as presumed kidnapping cahoots. Franziska is helped by Lisa's father Sven and his ex-con brother Mathias demanding a 100 000 Euro ransom, to start anew in Australia. The police and Wilsberg mess up the ransom delivery, leaving the Weltenbrinks desperate and unable to meet the million new demand, which Wilsberg volunteers to deliver, but he finds himself knocked down besides a corpse and blamed at gunpoint.
- Hospitalized after an accident and leg surgery, drugged Georg believes to have witnessed his night nurse being beaten up by doctor Siegbert Suhlke. *Hospital staff, Alex, Ekki and Anna dismiss his 'drug nightmare' and bug him by fuzzing about his temporarily wheelchair use. Wilsberg withdraws his reluctance to move in with Anna as he discovers her home has a view on clinic chief Suhlke while she hopes he's ready to get closer romantically. Wilsberg wheels over after observing Suhlke hiding something under his apartment floor, would have been caught without help from Ekki and Alex, and makes a new fall, landing him back in hospital, as Dr. Suhlke's patient in grave non-medical danger. Ekki meanwhile helps trace some fraudulent practices in the hospital.
- Wilsberg is fired in favor of two goons as security agent at Miss Munsterland pageant, for covering up the intrusion of his mate and former colleague Harry Jonas, who is murdered before he can properly explain his interest in mayor Peter Horstmar's competing daughter Rebecca. Wilsberg finds her car crashed a young woman who landed in a wheelchair, whose boyfriend hired Harry to find the culprit, but her car was reported stolen. Slutty Rebecca's electorally 'inacceptable' lover and 'agent' Moritz plays a puzzling part, courting rival competitor Margo and even her mother. Munster's mayor pressures commissioner Anna Springer to curb Wilsberg during his reelection campaign. Team Georg also looks into the rivals, notably Ekki dating jealous Rebecca and/or Margo, who seem ready to any dirty trick. Yet a vindictive motive spells a new crime at the miss election.
- Wilsberg is employed by a priest. The church in Muenster gets strange calls from a group called the "Wiedertaufer".
- Georg grudgingly attends charge Alex's graduation party of her first employer's law firm, waves flirting from her 'well-connected' former college classmate Maike Lehmann and seeing her hit a car, which could coast her the bar exam, takes the blame by posing as the driver when the police arrives and drivers her home, but refuses a sexual 'bonus', after which a champagne bottle nearly misses him outside. The next day specialist police detective Michael Bach must investigate an absurd sexual abuse charge against Wilsberg, seems to sympathize and share his suspicion its' staged, but evidence seems to pile up. later Bach has to fatally shoot Maike's wealthy father Christian Lehmann, who pointed a gun at 'his daughter's rapist', but team Wilsberg suspects darker motives, such as her vindictive squander-bug mother Marlis Ossiger, who viciously blames once lover Georg for her 'meager' divorce settlement and the loss of Maike when only her father remained wealthy. Furthermore, another insanely abused ex indicates Maike has a ruthless habit, and even a convenient lover-accomplice.
- Wilsberg is said to settle an inheritance dispute on the island of Norderney. The deceased disowned his children shortly before his death and instead bequeathed everything to his secretary.
- Because Overbeck loses his weapon in an operation, Oberrat Havenstein initiates a preliminary investigation against him. Shortly thereafter, she is dead and Overbeck is suspected of murder.
- Wilsberg and Ekki are on their way to Bielefeld. Wilsberg's old friend Manni is imprisoned there for assault and alleged acceptance of bribes. The two try to help Manni out of trouble.
- Ekki has a one night stand which does not end up well.
- On her first case Alex helps a man to escape from the police. Wilsberg thinks it is a bad idea and Kommissarin Springer threatens to put her in jail.
- Joy and problems for Ekki in one: his ex-girlfriend introduces him to his daughter Hanna and Silke Sestendrup wants to maintain Ekki retrospectively for six years. There are also problems in the tax office: a colleague is preferred to an upcoming promotion. Wilsberg advises Ekki to be careful about Silke and his daughter. But after the professional bankruptcy Ekki gladly "escapes" into his new father role. Then suddenly two more ex-girlfriends of Ekki appear and there are lies and intrigue. The disappearance of Ekki's lawyer is the culmination of the strange events.
- A young female cop is found dead in a car crash. Kommissarin Anna Springer is told not to investigate.
- Ekki must bunk up together after his car breaks down while he gently drags ingrate Wilsberg to his high-school's 30 years graduation jubilee, which the grump hates. Ig guest interesting when boastful classmate Bernhard is killed but his corpse disappears from the pool. Wilsberg, Ekki and commissioner Anna, who stays incognito as his wife, find out about various motives and opportunities among guests, the hosting classmate who runs the castle hotel and his disgruntled waitress Ines, who has the hots for Ekki, hence confide. The murderer strikes again, Wilsberg works out which business or personal grudges ended up lethal.
- After the wild celebration at Wilsberg's for Alex's first successful trial, defending slick sports student, barman and playboy Manuel against jealous heirs, party guest Babette Behrendt is left badly wounded on the street, near Ekki's car, which ran over her, actually watched by her fiance Gordon, son and deputy of contractor Lennart Haller. Commissioner Springer arrests drunk Ekki, who refuses to explain, covering for an unsuspecting, equally drunk mate mate. Georg's army Afghanistan veteran acquaintance and former romantic rival Klas Teunissen only hints at Ekki's innocence, refusing to testify. Wilsberg's team discovers and links more secrets and crimes, at his own peril.
- While Wilsberg is investigating an adultery case, he witnesses the murder of a professor.
- Private eye Wilsberg is asked to help the owner of a tailor's shop, who feels harassed by her landlord. Soon afterwards, her neighbor is murdered in front of her.

Eine Person, die von allen gehasst wird, weil sie ihre dunklen Geheimnisse aufdecken will: der Journalist Sebastian Nielsen. Hat Nielsen das Hotel freiwillig verlassen, oder wurde er umgebracht und weggeschafft? Wessen Motiv ist stark genug, einen Mord zu begehen? Es scheint nur eine Frage der Zeit zu sein, bis die Hilfe von Kriminalhauptkommissarin Anna Springer benötigt wird. Auch wenn die sich eigentlich auf ein ruhiges, arbeitsfreies Wochenende gefreut hatte.
- On Christmas Eve, Wilsberg's gang prepares for Springer's orange duck home dinner at his home, but she lacks orange marmalade. While Ekki is bored at the tax office party,. Alex shops for a present at the jeweler when a female Santa robs it at gun point and ignores the blind man who 'sees not' how she changes is Ekki, who toyed with a blind man on the loo's cane. Ekki's adulterous boss Grabowski and his gross floozy Margot witness jeweler Friedhelm Thies being abducted in a car booth, but he tries to prevent her eagerness to testify exposing their affair. Wilsberg buys a Christmas tree and driving it he with Alex stops to prevent a desperate Santa jump to his death, later finds the abduction limousine with blood traces, which the police is reluctant to investigate. Friedhelm Thies is meanwhile tortured to reveal his valuables.

Beruflich leidet Jasmin seit einiger Zeit unter Differenzen mit ihrem Laborleiter Jan Redecker, die sogar ihr aktuelles Forschungsprojekt zum Thema Fleischersatz gefährden. Wilsberg gibt sich kurzerhand als Verbraucherschützer aus, um im Veterinäramt bei der Sachbearbeiterin Melanie Zobel herauszufinden, ob die Ergebnisse der Untersuchungen in Heitbrinks Firma wirklich so lupenrein waren, wie behauptet wird. Die Lage spitzt sich dramatisch zu, als Thomas Heitbrink wenig später tot in seinem Büro aufgefunden wird. Um bei seinen Ermittlungen voranzukommen, ist Wilsberg wieder einmal auf Ekkis Hilfe angewiesen. Hauptkommissarin Anna Springer hat derweil ganz andere Sorgen. Ihr wurde ein Posten als Kriminalrätin in Aussicht gestellt. Für ihre Beförderung baut sie auf die Unterstützung ihres einflussreichen Bekannten Dr. Joachim Plöger. Doch schon bald beschleicht sie das ungute Gefühl, dass ausgerechnet Plöger in den Mordfall Heitbrink verwickelt sein könnte. Und als wäre das nicht schon genug, bekommt sie moralischen Druck von Overbeck, der ihren "Vitamin B"-Missbrauch aufs Schärfste verurteilt.
- Private detective Georg Wilsberg is hired by Torsten Schmitt to prove his wife Elvira's adultery but finds a hit murder. Overeager to impress the police-supervising alderman's daughter, police recruit Johanna Landau, Overbeck races to a 'suspected bank robbery' only to run over a mystery man and give a PR-suicidal interview, requiring Georg to take him in as hideout for the press. Lush has-been reporter Ingo Peters is murdered shortly after announcing a major scoop but his notes seem meaningless. Prodded by his tax department supervisor Grabowski to 'kill', Elkki plans to take down the butch who stole his parking spot, and thus stumbles into the account of Heiko Kehrer's agricultural machines factory, which is involved in shady dealings attractive expert undercover attention.
- Flirting, Ekki forgets to pay his drink at the police ball and accepts instead to give waitress Jule Köhler's date Michael Klarmann a lift home. On the lonely rural road, they stop for road-kill and are shot at- Ekki mildly wounded, Michael dead. *Wilsberg must investigate, however skeptical, to appease Ekki, who goes in hiding at Georg's, fearing to be the target. Michael's father bitterly regretted his late wife having handed the 'knave' the power to wreck the family firm. Poor hunters cooperation leader Ulf Hagen holds Klarmann abuses the hunting rights lease, bitterly enough to wish him grave harm, and lost his savings in Michael's speculative investment, which probably wrecked. Jule's dream to get out of the rat-hole and become rich with Köhler, A second murder forces the police to take Wilsberg's theories seriously, turning to a long-hidden past.

- Hearing his foxy new girl friend Denise Schulte repeatedly about her ex Gisbert Lotze, Ekki hires Wilseberg to check them out. He suspects her a 'working girl' but rather finds she also has an affair with commissioner Overbeck. Accountant Lotze's employer's corpse is found by Alex, whose client he was. Springer must now question as suspects her assistant and best friends, in a case revolving around tax fraud, with Denise playing a dirty part at every turn (even compromising Ekki's job), yet also being played by someone from her past.
- Mentally exhausted, Ekki anonymously seeks quiet and 'himself' in Melkwegen priory's retreat program for burnt-out executives. However Overbeck is undercover there to train four monks in military style to take charge of security for an incognito visit by German pope Benedict to take the legendary Peace Bible to Rome. Wilsberg must join the program as cover, being called in by an anonymous monk to discretely investigate the drowning in a blue dye tub of 'cellerarius' (treasurer) monk Bertram, officially reported as simple cardiac arrest. Alex was hired by contractor Stritt as the monastery never paid the solar energy system he installed three months earlier, is denied entry as female but sneaks in, bumps unto Georg and is later discovered showering by Overbeck, so they and Ecki team up. Doctoral student Angela is allowed in the library to study the precious bibles, but hides her own secrets, which proves perilous. Shortly after, friar Ansgar is murdered in a seemingly similar way. The gang gradually finds out about dire priory finances, true identities and kinship.
- Wilsberg investigates the disappearance of his attorney friend Alexandra 'Alex', who was tied up and gagged by the blunt murderers of her gangster client Horst Fahrenbrink. Overbeck and Springer worry mostly about the loss after attending a costume party of a luxury car belonging to a cocky criminal state detective, who also seems to team up with Wilsberg. Ekki bought cheap a pawned Inca statue and worries finding it may be one of five stolen ones. All above cases are tied together by cocaine.
- Overbeck is undercover as 'enforcer' for extortionists extracting 'protection payments' from entrepreneurs like restaurant owner Franko. Attorney Alex's lover and colleague, suave divorce lawyer Jan Faber, may be the link between a number of crimes. A female murder victim was partner in a duo of 'fidelity testing' private eyes hired by mistrusting women, such as unaware Ekki's bossy Silke, making him her last client. Wilsberg still uncovers more dirty twists, yielding surprising alternative motives.
- In Münster suburb Horsthausen, Thomas and Melanie Rensing's schoolboy son Max is reported missing, presumed kidnapped. Kinsman Ekki Talkötter provides a 10,000 Euro loan and gets buddy Georg Wilsberg to help deliver a ransom, but the police sabotages that and concentrates on the arrest on local pedophilia suspect Wolfgang Schwendter, believed to have avoided conviction a technicality years ago, now Alex's first major criminal client. Wilsberg smells a rat as Ekki's attempt to deliver ransom is sabotaged by his flirtatious youth neighbor and future fiancee according to his parents, Silke Sestendrup. Thomas's firm is in deep trouble, his partner plotted with him, but not to kidnap. Wilsberg investigates the mentally challenged soccer coach Nils Erdel and his rowdy brother Kevin, and the mother's adulterous affair.
