There are lightning storms in impenetrable jungles, temples to the Gods that terrify and dazzle, the stormy seas of the Ring Nations, burlesque shows at the infamous Candy Club, canyon cities in the rainforests of Quilim, and the vast Baruman dirigible fleet. There are also spectacular halls in the Palace of Ways, where far to the West, the Empress of Orleana keeps a tight grip on the portals that link our world and Altero Prime, the dimension of science and engineering.
