International Horror Guild
(changing)
Notes
- The International Horror Guild (originally the International Horror Critics Guild) was created in 1995 as a way to recognize the achievements of those who create in the horror/dark fantasy field. Nancy A. Collins, the founder of the award, felt there was a need for an award granted by a large, unaffiliated group. (from the IHG web site, 1999)
- The IHG Awards honor horror/dark fantasy as a genre. However there are two categories 'Best Film' and 'Best Television' which are movie-related.
