After being nominated for the Critic's Choice, Golden Globe, SAG and PFCS award, Evan Rachel Wood was expected to be the youngest Best Actress nominee for her role as a troubled teen in 'Thirteen' at the age of 15 but, of course, it was Keisha Castle-Hughes who took the title. Scarlett Johansson won the BAFTA and was nominated for the Broadcast Film Critic's Association Award and the Golden Globe for her part in 'Lost in Translation' but the Academy didn't acknowledge Johansson at all this year, even thought she was critically acclaimed in two films this year, the other being 'Girl With a Pearl Earring'.
