- DirectorTom McLoughlinStarsThom MathewsJennifer CookeDavid KagenTommy Jarvis exhumes Jason Voorhees to cremate his corpse, but inadvertently brings him back to life instead. The newly revived killer seeks revenge, and Tommy may be the only one who can stop him.I do appreciate the inclusion of humour, our favorite killer Jason is now a lot more stronger and immortal (the way we want him to be), memorable characters, great pacing, great murder scenes and action, and an awesome conclusion.
- DirectorJohn Carl BuechlerStarsTerry KiserJennifer BankoJohn OtrinJason Voorhees is accidentally freed from his watery prison by a telekinetic teenager. Now, only she can stop him.A girl with telekinetic powers? Sure, why not? Jason needed a new challenge. This one is not so bad. The characters are memorable, the pacing is good, the murder scenes and action is great, it has a great conclusion, though some of the writings was a little bit silly.
- DirectorRob HeddenStarsJensen DaggettKane HodderTodd CaldecottJason Voorhees is accidentally awakened from his watery grave and ends up stalking a ship full of graduating high-school students headed to Manhattan, New York.I agree. There were way too little New York, and way too much boat in this one. The characters are less memorable, the pacing can get slow at times, and it had a very lame and dumb conclusion, but the murder scenes and the action was still pretty good.
- DirectorJoseph ZitoStarsErich AndersonJudie AronsonPeter BartonAfter being announced dead and taken to a morgue, Jason Voorhees spontaneously revives, escapes from the hospital, and stalks a group of friends renting a house in the countryside near Crystal Lake.Easily the best of the first four. The characters are much more memorable (with a lot more familiar faces), the pacing is much better, the murder scenes and the action is great, and the conclusion is awesome.
- DirectorRonny YuStarsRobert EnglundKen KirzingerKelly RowlandFreddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees return to terrorize the teenagers of Elm Street. Only this time, they're out to get each other, too.The badass conclusion was the only great thing about this film, but it's still a very disappointing crossover with bad acting, dumb non-interesting characters, slow pacing, and bad writing, though the murder scenes and the action was still kinda funny.
- DirectorSteve MinerStarsDana KimmellTracie SavageRichard BrookerJason Voorhees stalks a group of friends who have just arrived to spend the weekend at a cabin near Crystal Lake.Sure, the 3D was silly, but the pacing is a little bit better, the characters are more memorable, and our favorite killer gets our favorite hockey mask in this one.
- DirectorDanny SteinmannStarsMelanie KinnamanJohn ShepherdAnthony BarrileStill haunted by his past, Tommy Jarvis, who, as a child, killed Jason Voorhees, is sent to a secluded halfway house in the countryside, where the killing of a young man triggers a brutal series of murders in the area. The whole story for this film was stupid as hell, I admit that, but at least it has some memorable characters, some good pacing, and some good murder scenes and action.
- DirectorJames IsaacStarsKane HodderLexa DoigJeff GeddisJason Voorhees is cryogenically frozen at the beginning of the 21st century, and is discovered in the 25th century and taken to space. He gets thawed, and begins stalking and killing the crew of the spaceship that's transporting him.I don't mind that Jason is in space, but this one had very bad humour, bad acting, stupidest characters, and dumb writing, though some of the murder scenes and the action was pretty good enough.
- DirectorMarcus NispelStarsJared PadaleckiAmanda RighettiDerek MearsA group of young adults visit a boarded up campsite named Crystal Lake where they soon encounter the mysterious Jason Voorhees and his deadly intentions.
- DirectorAdam MarcusStarsJohn D. LeMayKari KeeganKane HodderSerial killer Jason Voorhees' supernatural origins are revealed.Easily the dumbest story of all the films, less memorable characters, silly murder and action scenes, worst writings, and a very dumb and lame conclusion.
- DirectorSteve MinerStarsBetsy PalmerAmy SteelJohn FureyFive years after the events of the first film, a summer camp next to the infamous Camp Crystal Lake is preparing to open, but the legend of Jason is weighing heavy on the proceedings.Kinda the same slow pacing as the first one, however this one introduces our favorite killer Jason, and the characters are a little bit more memorable.
- DirectorSean S. CunninghamStarsBetsy PalmerAdrienne KingJeannine TaylorA group of teenage camp counselors attempt to re-open an abandoned summer camp with a tragic past, but they are stalked by a mysterious, relentless killer. The first film is ironically one of the worst ones for having the slowest pacing, least memorable characters, least interesting murder scenes, and lamest conclusion.
