When Parker Stevenson was five years old his mother, who acted in numerous television commercials, took him to a filming session. This resulted in two small television appearances. However, Parker's father, an investment advisor, looked askance at the whole business, and although Parker appeared in a few play productions at Brooks School he had no intention of becoming an actor. Parker rowed with the Brooks School crew in the Princess Elizabeth Cup Race at the prestigious Henley Regatta. Later at Princeton, Parker rowed with the freshman lightweight crew team which won the 1971-72 eastern sprint races. Parker Stevenson graduated from Brooks School in North Andover, Massachusetts in 1971."Smallville" came with the idea of inviting actors connected to the Superman mythos. He portrayed Frank Hardy and I thought it would be great to see him come back as Fenton Hardy.- Actor

Tyler Johnston is a Canadian actor known for a variety of film and television roles, including that of Samandriel in season 8 of Supernatural.
As the foundations were laid for the young actor, Johnston was placed in the lead role of Ren McCormack in his high school production of Footloose. With so much ahead of him, Johnston first appeared in a number of minor roles, soon landing several recurring roles in series including Zixx: Level Two, Godiva's and Reunion. Other notable credits include Smallville, V, and R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour.
Johnston is best known in Canada for the portrayal of Danny Lubbe in the HBO Canada comedy series Less Than Kind, and as Stewart in the hit television series Letterkenny, but as for the global fandom, it is Supernatural from which most would be more familiar with him, along with his role as Alexi Giffords in The Killing.
Having originally starred in the first season of the Supernatural, Johnston returned to the screen as a different character later on. In the role of Samandriel (aka Alfie), his recurring character in season 8 was a more touching tribute to the religious elements found throughout the series.
Johnston has most recently been seen as Matthew in the feature Rabbit, and has a number of other projects coming soon.Seen him first in "Polar Storm" and yeah, I thought of him as the next Joe Hardy. Later, he guested in "Supernatural" and still thought about Joe Hardy bid.- Producer

Pamela Sue Martin attended public schools in Westport, Connecticut and graduated from Staples High School in February 1971. Before she graduated, Pamela was working in a hamburger stand for $1.45 per hour when a friend told her that she was earning $60 per hour modeling in New York. Liking the wages and being of an ambitious nature, Pamela Sue decided to emulate her friend and soon was earning a good living as a teenage model for print ads and television commercials. Although she was completely innocent of dramatic training, experience or even ambitions, when Pamela Sue heard that Columbia Pictures was auditioning girls for a film called To Find a Man (1972), she decided to try. It took the producers three months to make up their minds, but in the end Pamela Sue had the female starring role. Pamela returned to Staples High School in Westport, Connecticut to finish high school. On the basis of her performance in To Find a Man (1972), producer Irwin Allen cast her to co-star with five Academy Award winners in The Poseidon Adventure (1972). Then came a starring role in the ABC Movie of the Week The Girls of Huntington House (1973) and a co-starring role with Jan-Michael Vincent in Buster and Billie (1974). She is particularly proud of her portrayal in the production, The Hemingway Play (1976). She has played the character Celia Grey in the television movie, Strong Medicine (1986) and has hosted "Saturday Night Live." Danielle Nicole Panabaker was born in Augusta, Georgia. Her younger sister, actress Kay Panabaker, starred in the TV series Summerland (2004)(WB, 2004-05). Panabaker started acting at a summer camp before joining community theater productions when she was 10 years old. Panabaker moved to Naperville, IL, where she was a member of the Neuqua Valley High School speech team. At the age of 14, while most students her age were barely starting their high school careers, she graduated.
Panabaker followed her initial appearances in commercials with roles in television, including a part in the series The Guardian (2001) (for which she won a Young Artist Award), as well as other television series, including Malcolm in the Middle (2000), Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1999), Medium (2005), Summerland (2004), and the Disney Channel original movie Stuck in the Suburbs (2004). She also appeared in the Lifetime Television productions Sex & the Single Mom (2003) and Mom at Sixteen (2005), as well as the well-reviewed miniseries Empire Falls (2005). In addition, Panabaker appeared in stage productions, with roles in musical theater, including "West Side Story," Pippin,":"Once Upon a Time," and "Beauty Lou and the Country Beast." In 2004, she starred in the ABC film Searching for David's Heart (2004), alongside former co-Disney star Raviv Ullman. Helen Slater was born in Bethpage, New York, to Alice Joan (Citrin), a lawyer and peace activist, and Gerald Slater, a television executive. She was raised in Massapequa, Long Island, New York, and is of Eastern European Jewish descent. Appearing in many shows as a child, she attended the New York High School of Performing Arts, graduating in 1982. Having made her acting debut in Amy & the Angel (1982), co-starring with James Earl Jones and Matthew Modine. Helen took her career very seriously. Within months of her graduation, she attended auditions for the upcoming spin-off of the famous Superman (1978) franchise, Supergirl (1984). It was to be shot in England at Pinewood Studios, where the first "Superman" movies were filmed. Slater even spoke to Christopher Reeve about playing a superhero to assure herself she could do it. After being the first to present herself for audition, she was cast as the lead in the film and her career took off. Although Supergirl (1984) received mixed reviews, most critics were impressed with Helen's abilities. In fact, the critics' consensus was that she did a better job at keeping a secret identity (a mousy schoolgirl) than Reeve did as Clark Kent. In her next film, she was cast as a modern-day "Joan of Arc" in The Legend of Billie Jean (1985) with Yeardley Smith and Peter Coyote. The film, though not particularly successful, has managed to attract a somewhat cult following. She next appeared in one of her best-received roles, that of the female half of the bumbling husband-and-wife team that kidnaps Bette Midler in the comic blockbuster, Ruthless People (1986), and scored again in the hit The Secret of My Success (1987). Both roles helped to cement her status as an actress of note. Next, she and her friend, Melanie Mayron, starred in the feminist comedy, Sticky Fingers (1988), a critical but not financial success. It was in this film and her next, Happy Together (1989), that she was able to prove that she could do comedy as well as drama. She went on to do more feature films such as City Slickers (1991), A House in the Hills (1993) and Lassie (1994), before making regular appearances on television. Her regional stage credits include appearances in such plays as "Grease" and "Shakespeare and Friends". On Broadway, she starred in "Responsible Parties" and "Almost Romance". She also attended classes at both NYU and UCLA, trying to broaden her acting abilities. On television, she has appeared in Caroline in the City (1995), as well as many others. She also became a spokeswoman for Preference by L'Oreal in both TV and print ads. She is an accomplished pianist and now has an album out called "One of These Days". She co-founded the New York theater group, The Naked Angels, with her friend Gina Gershon. In 1990, she married award-winning editor Robert Watzke and they have a daughter, born in 1995. She stepped out of the limelight for a couple of years, appearing mainly in the occasional TV show, but came back strong in 2003, showing moviegoers and TV audiences how great an entertainer she really is.I pictured her as Laura Hardy even if there were few mentions in the books or if I may have totally forgotten scenes. I think "Brother against Brother" casefiles was the one that stuck in my mind.- Actress

Multi-talented, multi-award-winning actress Kathleen (Doyle) Bates was born on June 28, 1948, and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She is the youngest of three girls born to Bertye Kathleen (Talbot), a homemaker, and Langdon Doyle Bates, a mechanical engineer. Her grandfather was author Finis L. Bates. Kathy has English, as well as Irish, Scottish, and German, ancestry, and one of her ancestors, an Irish emigrant to New Orleans, once served as President Andrew Jackson's doctor.
Kathy discovered acting appearing in high school plays and studied drama at Southern Methodist University, graduating in 1969. With her mind firmly set, she moved to New York City in 1970 and paid her dues by working everything from a cash register to taking lunch orders. Things started moving quickly up the ladder after giving a tour-de-force performance alongside Christopher Walken at Buffalo's Studio Arena Theatre in Lanford Wilson's world premiere of "Lemon Sky" in 1970, but she also had a foreshadowing of the heartbreak to come after the successful show relocated to New York's off-Broadway Playhouse Theatre without her and Walken wound up winning a Drama Desk award.
By the mid-to-late 1970s, Kathy was treading the boards frequently as a rising young actress of the New York and regional theater scene. She appeared in "Casserole" and "A Quality of Mercy" (both 1975) before earning exceptional reviews for her role of Joanne in "Vanities". She took her first Broadway curtain call in 1980's "Goodbye Fidel," which lasted only six performances. She then went directly into replacement mode when she joined the cast of the already-established and highly successful "Fifth of July" in 1981.
Kathy made a false start in films with Taking Off (1971), in which she was billed as "Bobo Bates". She didn't film again until Straight Time (1978), starring Dustin Hoffman, and that part was not substantial enough to cause a stir. Things turned hopeful, however, when Kathy and the rest of the female ensemble were given the chance to play their respective Broadway parts in the film version of Robert Altman's Come Back to the 5 & Dime Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean (1982). It was a juicy role for Kathy and film audiences finally started noticing the now 34-year-old.
Still and all, it was the New York stage that continued to earn Kathy awards and acclaim. She was pure textbook to any actor studying how to disappear into a role. Her characters ranged from free and life-affirming to downright pitiable. Despite winning a Tony Award nomination and Outer Critic's Circle Award for her stark, touchingly sad portrait of a suicidal daughter in 1983's "'night, Mother" and the Obie and Los Angeles Drama Critics Award for her powerhouse job as a romantic misfit in "Frankie and Johnny in the Claire de Lune," Kathy had no box-office pull, however, and was never a strong consideration when the roles transferred to the screen. Her award-winning stage went to established film stars. First Sissy Spacek took over her potent role as the suicidal Jessie Cates in 'night, Mother (1986), then Michelle Pfeiffer seized the moment to play her dumpy lover character in Frankie and Johnny (1991). It would take Oscar glory to finally rectify the injustice.
It was Kathy's fanatical turn as the drab, chunky, porcine-looking psychopath Annie Wilkes, who kidnaps her favorite author (James Caan) and subjects him to a series of horrific tortures, that finally turned the tide for her in Hollywood. With the 1990 shocker Misery (1990), based on the popular Stephen King novel, Bates and Caan were box office magic. Moreover, Kathy captured the "Best Actress" Oscar and Golden Globe award, a first in that genre (horror) for that category. To add to her happiness she married Tony Campisi, also an actor, in 1991.
Quality film scripts now started coming her way and the 1990s proved to be a rich and rewarding time for her. First, she and another older "overnight" film star, fellow Oscar winner Jessica Tandy, starred together in the modern portion of the beautifully nuanced, flashback period piece Fried Green Tomatoes (1991). She then outdid herself as the detached and depressed housekeeper accused of murdering her abusive husband (David Strathairn) in Dolores Claiborne (1995). Surprisingly, she was left out of the Oscar race for these two excellent performances. Not so, however, for her flashy political advisor Libby Holden in the movie Primary Colors (1998), receiving praise and a "Best Supporting Actress" nomination.
Kathy has continued to work prolifically on TV as a 14-time Emmy winner or nominee thus far. She has also taken to directing a couple of TV-movies on the sly. As most actors, she has been in hit and miss TV shows. On the hit side, she has earned a Golden Globe and Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Jay Leno's manager playing tough politics in The Late Shift (1996) and played to the hilt the cruel-minded orphanage operator, Miss Hannigan, in Annie (1999) for which she also earned an Emmy nom. She has done some eye-catching, offbeat turns on regular series such as Six Feet Under (2001) (for which she also earned a DGA award for helming an episode), The Office (2005), Harry's Law (2011) and especially American Horror Story (2011) for which she won an Emmy as Ethel Darling. She also won an Emmy for a guest episode on the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men (2003).
Interesting millennium filming have included a Catholic school's Mother Superior in the comic drama Bruno (2000); Jesse James' mother in American Outlaws (2001); a quirky, liberal mom in About Schmidt (2002) for which she earned another "Best Supporting Actress" Oscar nomination; a brief but potent turn as Gertrude Stein in Woody Allen's Midnight in Paris (2011); Queen Victoria in the adventurous remake of Around the World in 80 Days (2004); wacky parent types in the comedies Failure to Launch (2006) and Relative Strangers (2006); Mother Claus in the seasonal farce Fred Claus (2007); an over-gushy foster mother in the dramedy The Great Gilly Hopkins (2015); and a wrenching performance as the mother of a suspected terrorist in Richard Jewell (2019) for which she earned her third "Best Supporting Actress" Oscar nomination.
Divorced from husband Campisi since 1997, Kathy has been the Executive Committee Chair of the Actors Branch of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Board of Governors. As Hannah Gruen- Actress

TV viewers first caught notice of Skyler Samuels when she became a junior correspondent at just 8 years old and went on to be a Disney Channel regular on shows like "Wizards of Waverly Place," "The Suite Life," and "That's So Raven." In 2006, Chace appeared in Lifetime's television movie Long Lost Son (2006), where he plays the son of Gabrielle Anwar's character. Steven Strait was born on March 23, 1986 in New York City, New York, the son of Jean (Viscione) and Richard Dyer Strait. He is of half English and half Italian descent. As a child, Steven grew up in Greenwich Village with his family. He attended Xavier High School and enrolled himself at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting to pursue his dream as an actor.
But before he was recognized as an actor, Steven got early recognition as a model while he was a teenager. Steven modeled for Details, Pop, Spoon, Surface and even Vogue as a teen model. He's also worked with famous photographers such as Bruce Weber, Ellen Von Unwerth and also Herb Ritts. Working with Weber got Steven featured in his 2001 book, "All-American: Short Stories".
Acting didn't come naturally for Steven. Even though most actors out there knew that they wanted to act as a kid, Steven actually didn't enjoy acting. He first learned about acting when he was with a family member at the age of eleven. Steven's parents thought acting could very well be Steven's career and they decided to enroll him in classes at the Village Community School.
Not too long later, Steven caught the acting bug. He eventually got the chance to perform live and that was when Steven thought he could actually make something he enjoyed a lifetime career. This passion eventually brought him to work at the Stella Adler Acting Studio and the Black Nexus Acting Studio, which are both situated in New York City.
When he turned 18, Steven graduated from Xavier High School and he moved to California with hopes of pursuing a real career in acting. It was only a matter of time. When Steven went to his first audition, he received an acting job which was a role in the movie, Sky High (2005). "Sky High" marked Steven's acting debut in the movie industry.
Steven then signed on to do the movie, Undiscovered (2005), about a group of teenagers who aspire to be famous. "Undiscovered" wasn't a big hit at the box-office but critics enjoyed watching Steven playing the role of "Luke Falcon". The movie also starred another movie newcomer, songstress Ashlee Simpson.
The time finally came when Steven was asked to star in the horror movie, The Covenant (2006), playing the role of "Caleb Danvers", a prep school student who comes from a wealthy family. In the cast, Steven worked with actors Taylor Kitsch, Toby Hemingway, Sebastian Stan, and Chace Crawford. The Covenant (2006) was a big hit in certain parts of the globe and fans got to learn more about Steven's acting talent. The critics were also impressed with Steven.
The year 2008 is probably Steven's busiest year since he started acting. Steven signed on to do a couple of movies in 2007 and promotion work for his movies will start from March 2008 onwards. Critics are also already excited to see Steven's work in the movie, 10,000 BC (2008), also starring Camilla Belle. He appeared in the MTV Production movie, Stop-Loss (2008), as "Michael Colson". Steven recently completed working on a movie named City Island (2009) in New York.
Aside from participating in fashion and acting, Steven is also known to most people as a singer. Steven has performed a few songs in the soundtrack album of Sky High (2005) and Undiscovered (2005).
Steven, so far, has proved that he is a multi-tasking star in the business. Even though he may seem to be famous, Steven claims that he tries to keep himself grounded from all the fame. At 22, this star has already impressed most entertainment critics, whether in modeling, acting or singing. As Burt Eddeltorn- Actor
