WOW!!! Pleasantly surprised! :-D
Sometimes one movie can make all the difference in your life. AND you should never judge a movie by its cover either!
And there are MANY motion pictures that have done just that for me, with much surprise to watch! THAT was the "Dark Horse" I least expected to see! Being a film snob, I just viewed this films with not much expectations - but I came out *really* liking them, surprised at how cool & great they were! And a few of them I admit I missed out on, until I viewed them much later.
These are my movies that can be watched over & over again...
And STRONGLY recommended! :-D

- Because they are beautiful to watch and/or listen.
- Because they have this nice feeling to it.
- Because they make you question life.
- Because they resonate inside.
- Because they are tough to figure out.
- The storyline is of course secondary.
And STRONGLY recommended! :-D

- DirectorHarold RamisStarsBill MurrayAndie MacDowellChris ElliottA narcissistic, self-centered weatherman finds himself in a time loop on Groundhog Day.A Masterpiece, A Work of Genius, & an Absolute Must-Watch! A Charming, Brilliant, Intellectual, and Hidden Gem Of A Movie.
WHERE was this film my whole life...???
HOW did I never hear of this movie??? :-O
WHY was I deprived of it??
WHY didn't anyone ever tell me about it???
WHY was my family wasting time renting & watching too many films that've been emotionally exhausting or just plain cringe-worthy & stupid??
I originally had decided to view this film mostly because it starred Andie McDowell, who is quite an underrated & talented female beauty!
Upon viewing this film for the first time, it was remarkably & unbelievably **AMAZING**!
I can't remember the last time I had a great feel-good SENSATION after seeing a movie!
Truly an *original* film that challenged and captivated me! One of those rare movies where it changed my outlook on life!
Definitely one of THE BEST movies EVER made!!! Even better than the overrated "The Godfather" series, "Titanic", "Inception", "Pulp Fiction", "Dark Knight", or "Shawshank"... some of the major Hollywood films which just seem to show how "corrupt & immoral" man can be - "Groundhog Day" is totally different for that exact purpose! A very funny modern-day parable with Murray at his best. An intelligent script full of pathos, humor, and character development. And not one harsh profane word in the whole production (very rare for the '90s).
THIS movie is one of the best, if not THE best films - with meaning, morality, originality, creativity, & effort! And I'm *very* astonished it never won ANY Oscars, nor at the very least *some* nominations! What a farce! Not even one for Best PICTURE? Best Director? Best Actor? Best Actress? Best ORIGINAL Screenplay? Best Film Editing? Best Cinematography?? Not even Best Story??? *I* would've at least nominated it for 5 Oscars! One for Best Director (Harold Ramis), Best Original Screenplay (Danny Rubin), Best Cinematography (John Bailey), Best Actor (Bill Murray), and Best Actress (Andie McDowell)!
The Golden Globes should've at least given it the Award for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy!
(But AT LEAST it did win a BAFTA for Best Original Screenplay.)
Seriously, it is one of THE smartest screenplays I have ever seen in a movie... If not THE smartest!!!
And I'm making it my personal mission to drive people's attention to THIS film instead of James Cameron’s overrated ‘Titanic’! Seriously, this film had a way more entertaining, original, interesting, & much better romantic love story than THAT movie!
I believe it should be A LOT higher on iMDb's Top 250! Perhaps should switch places with INCEPTION, a film I pretty much ABHOR because of it's confusing story, nonsensical message, and *unlikable* characters.
Where the HECK was THIS movie my whole life!??? How was it so obscured!???
Seriously, contrary to Hollywood having a soft spot for mostly violent & pervasive movies, this film on the other hand how man can be corrupt, but also learn how to become a much better and sociable person! Movies don't have to be "sad" or emotionally exhausting to teach a good message!
I wish it would've been as memorable as those Disney films I saw when I was younger - if I saw it like 10 or 11 years ago, it would've been A LOT more life-changing, I could've made SO much more good conscience decisions. Seriously, it's appropriate for families, for children, for grown ups, of ALL AGES, everywhere!
I really wish it was as popular as a lot of the "mainstream" movies out there! Like Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, the Marvel/DC cinematic universe films, the Olsen Twin movies, Michael Jackson's songs, Lady Gaga's songs, Elton John's songs, QUEEN's songs, the Nolan films, the PIXAR films, the Spielberg movies, the Mr. Bean movies, Tom Hanks movies, Robin Williams' movies, the overrated James Cameron films, the DreamWorks movies, the Evolution of Dance music video, Ray William Johnson or Shane Dawson's YouTube videos, etc.
It definitely gets better the more I think about it! The story upon first viewing is quite simple, but it truly becomes MORE amazing the more you think about it & watch it!
And I have YET to see a bad review for it... The best thing about this movie is that it has a great message, but it doesn't beat you over the head with it.
Being directed by a JEWISH guy, Harold Ramis (much like Tom Cruise's recent "Edge of Tomorrow") it's all the more reason to like it & marvel at it! :D
Do rest in peace, Ramis. You will be remembered because of this film...
Seriously, "Groundhog Day" is a MUST WATCH coming-of-age flick for anybody growing up in life!
;-) - DirectorPeter JacksonStarsElijah WoodIan McKellenOrlando BloomA meek Hobbit from the Shire and eight companions set out on a journey to destroy the powerful One Ring and save Middle-earth from the Dark Lord Sauron.I understand this film came out way back in 2001, but at that time, I was only 9 years old. I didn't get to be a teenager until 2005, and at that time; when I finally did see this movie (and its sequels), it was either 2006 or '07 when we borrowed these films from this other family friends of ours.
MAN, did this series give so much & change so much. - DirectorJohn SturgesStarsSteve McQueenJames GarnerRichard AttenboroughAllied prisoners of war plan for several hundred of their number to escape from a German camp during World War II.One of the most MANLY movies I've seen! Had so many big male Hollywood names - the climax was amazing, when they were escaping, my heart was RACING! Steve McQueen riding the motorbike was BEAST!
The soundtrack's awesome too! So THIS is where it came from. - DirectorPeter JacksonStarsElijah WoodIan McKellenViggo MortensenWhile Frodo and Sam edge closer to Mordor with the help of the shifty Gollum, the divided fellowship makes a stand against Sauron's new ally, Saruman, and his hordes of Isengard. My favorite episode of the trilogy!
- DirectorDean DeBloisChris SandersStarsJay BaruchelGerard ButlerChristopher Mintz-PlasseA hapless young Viking who aspires to hunt dragons becomes the unlikely friend of a young dragon himself, and learns there may be more to the creatures than he assumed.I'm a HUGE fan of the "Inheritance Cycle", the Eragon books, where by similar story arch, a boy rides a dragon to fight battles, etc.
I thought Hiccup really almost captured the pure descriptive figure, likeness, and attitude of Eragon. - DirectorPeter JacksonStarsElijah WoodViggo MortensenIan McKellenGandalf and Aragorn lead the World of Men against Sauron's army to draw his gaze from Frodo and Sam as they approach Mount Doom with the One Ring.NOTE: Many people seem to complain about the many endings of this film - to be honest, upon first viewing of watching this on home video, I was GLUED to my seat! I remember I was moved to tears, NOT WANTING the movie to end. That's how much I enjoyed it.
Though I do now admit I wished the "Saruman Death Scene" was left in the original theatrical cut - I did want to now what happened to one of the biggest villains in the entire film series, instead of everything after the war was over! Just like everyone else...
And I understand EVERYONE now complains about the Eagles, that they could've just flown them to Mordor... Well, the Eagles aren't taxis, you know. It's quite disrespectful for large creatures of awesome-ness. lol - DirectorDavid A.R. WhiteStarsBruce MarchianoSteve BordenJaci VelasquezThe supernatural experience of five people sat an abandoned diner with the King of Kings...Jesus Christ.I mean, WOW...a powerful film, POWERFUL! A little movie with a LOT of heart! I can't believe I missed out on this for 4 years!!
What I got was really, really good flick that touched me and made me feel good and wanting to be better.
It is not a heavy action flick just a thought-provoking heart-felt movie that is well-worth the time.
MUCH better dialogue film than "Pulp fiction" for sure. lol
A Man who knows everything about a few strangers, but doesn't need a "Groundhog Day".
PS: Want to know about another film about Jesus living amongst modern-day people??
See the film "Joshua" (2002)! - DirectorJoss WhedonStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansScarlett JohanssonEarth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.I saw this in theaters when it came out. Everyone else who's reviewed this movie pretty much already has said what I think!
The definition of the word EPIC! - DirectorNathan FrankowskiStarsBen SteinLili AsvarPeter AtkinsBen Stein examines the issue of academic freedom and decides that there is none when it comes to the debate over intelligent design.Pretty much everything from this documentary was well-researched one, and much I already heard of and knew from Dr. Kent Hovind's incredibly powerful Creation seminars.
- StarsSid RothScott PerriCaitlyn MimsSid Roth interviews various people who have experienced supernatural messages, dreams, miracles and visions.Sid Roth is a Messianic Jew who has spent the last 30+ years researching the strange world of the supernatural. Encounters, miracles, angels, demons, afterlife, etc.
- DirectorPeter JacksonStarsMartin FreemanIan McKellenRichard ArmitageA reluctant Hobbit, Bilbo Baggins, sets out to the Lonely Mountain with a spirited group of dwarves to reclaim their mountain home, and the gold within it from the dragon Smaug.I had wished for some time I had seen the original Lord of the Rings trilogy in theaters - this sort of gave me a second chance and glimpse of how it could've been like! Martin Freeman was a perfect casting choice!
No matter what people say, I LOVE this new trilogy Peter Jackson is giving us! - DirectorDoug LimanStarsTom CruiseEmily BluntBill PaxtonA soldier fighting aliens gets to relive the same day over and over again, the day restarting every time he dies. The "futuristic action sci-fi alien invasion" version of Groundhog Day! Tom Cruise once again proves he's still got some talent!
This flick was also directed by a Jewish guy, much like Harold Ramis - all the more reason to like it again!
This movie gave me one of the most exciting theater experiences I ever had! ;D - DirectorPeter JacksonStarsIan McKellenMartin FreemanRichard ArmitageThe dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring. Most appropriate that I chose this as a birthday gift to my youngest sister (don't worry - she's WELL into her teens). Man, everything was epic & intense! Smaug will be one of the greatest characters to ever go down in film history!
- DirectorZack SnyderStarsHenry CavillAmy AdamsMichael ShannonAn alien child is evacuated from his dying world and sent to Earth to live among humans. His peace is threatened when other survivors of his home planet invade Earth. As good (maybe even BETTER than) the first Christopher Reeve Superman flick!
Kinda surprised also that they didn't necessarily need the John Williams theme for the caped-superhero! ;) - DirectorClint EastwoodStarsAngelina JolieColm FeoreAmy RyanAfter Christine's son goes missing, she reaches out to the LAPD to find him. But when they try to pass off an impostor as her son to quieten public protests, she refuses to accept him or give up hope. Not a great poster, and I hadn't really liked Angelina Jolie till then; just thought she was only a "show off" in the movies. but when I saw this film, I was really decently startled at her performance, her relatable character, her performance, etc.
I think she's really begun to 'mature' as an actress! lulz
I think this film actually DESERVES to be on imdb's Top 250! - DirectorRobert ZemeckisStarsTom HanksRobin WrightGary SiniseThe history of the United States from the 1950s to the '70s unfolds from the perspective of an Alabama man with an IQ of 75, who yearns to be reunited with his childhood sweetheart.Oh my word, was this flick a fun a ride!
A man, not too bright & with an unbelievably strange accent, goes through many periods of history meeting celebrities & presidents, while expanding a lot of his talents & opportunities... as well as finding the true love of his live. ;)
<3
Well-deserved of it Best Actor & Best Picture Awards.
(Personally glad it didn't go to "Shawshank Redemption" - I've heard enough reasons. That film is just harsh & offensive at times!) - DirectorBoaz YakinStarsDenzel WashingtonWill PattonWood HarrisIn 1971 Virginia high school football was everything to the people of Alexandria. But when the school board was forced to integrate an all-black school with an all-white one, the very foundation of football's tradition was put to the test.Hands down, the best Denzel Washington movie I've seen!
Please someone add this to iMDb's Top 250 films! - DirectorPete DocterRonnie Del CarmenStarsAmy PoehlerBill HaderLewis BlackAfter young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school.A REVOLUTIONARY new Disney film!
Not gonna lie, I have NEVER cried in a theater before... this film did just that.
It really makes you think. ;)
I'll never look at my life, my emotions, or other people's emotions the same way again. - DirectorAlex KendrickStarsAlex KendrickShannen FieldsJason McLeodA losing coach and his underdog football team face their giants of fear and failure on and off the field, with surprising results. One made with a lot of good effort! Perseverance & and great motivational film!
- CreatorDale McRavenStarsBronson PinchotMark Linn-BakerMelanie WilsonA high-strung and cynical man's life is never the same when his naive but good-natured cousin comes to America to live with him.Such a funny & feel-good show! But severely underrated as well. I recommend it highly! ^^

How dare you rob this film of the Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film!!
Wreck-It Ralph smashes "Brave" to pieces! In matter of story, creativity, characters, originality, music, effort, colorful-ness, and especially likableness! - DirectorHarold CronkStarsShane HarperKevin SorboDavid A.R. WhiteCollege philosophy professor Mr. Radisson's curriculum is challenged by his new student, Josh, who believes God exists.A little movie with A LOT of heart! It addressed so many important issues that exist in reality!
Try watching either Kent Hovind's and/or Ken Ham's seminars too! They're a whole lot more insightful, IMO. - DirectorPeyton ReedStarsPaul RuddMichael DouglasCorey StollArmed with a super-suit with the astonishing ability to shrink in scale but increase in strength, cat burglar Scott Lang must embrace his inner hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym, pull off a plan that will save the world.Exciting, funny, creative, inventive, and well-executed!
Who thought that a guy with the word "ant" in his name could be quite awesome! - DirectorRich ChristianoStarsJordan TrovillionJay PickettHarry AndersonA young girl is influenced by her popular Biology professor, who teaches that evolution is the answer to the origins of life. Very concerned about his daughter drifting away from the faith, her father tries to do something about it.Addresses a much important issue people face today, especially in the classroom. It's a root problem as to what fuels so much social ills, whether it be from gun violence, drugs & abortion, to racism & corrupt dictatorships.
- DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris HemsworthMark RuffaloThe Avengers and their allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.MAN,.... that escalated quickly. Was fun, action-packed, made me feel GREAT, was intense, emotional,... and what an ending.
- DirectorPierre MorelStarsLiam NeesonMaggie GraceFamke JanssenA retired CIA agent travels across Europe and relies on his old skills to save his estranged daughter, who has been kidnapped while on a trip to Paris. On of the most MANLY movies I've ever seen! Literally, every scene was well-played & well-directed!
Liam Neeson really goes all "Qui-Gon Jinn" in this film, beating up the bad guys, great martial arts, and going to extraordinary lengths to save his daughter.
And I'm one of the few people who actually liked the sequel, too. - DirectorJosh TrankStarsDane DeHaanAlex RussellMichael B. Ultron was a *sweet* villain! A sequel jast AS good, or maybe even BETTER than the last film! ;D
- DirectorJon FavreauStarsRobert Downey Jr.Gwyneth PaltrowTerrence HowardAfter being held captive in an Afghan cave, billionaire engineer Tony Stark creates a unique weaponized suit of armor to fight evil.Technology is awesome!!
LOVED that scene where FOUGHT the bad guys away, in a way that we've all thought of doing at times!
Man, If I had that Iron Man suit, I would free a lot of prisoners from North Korean concentration camps, make a lot of peace in the Mid-East, and put Bush and Obama in jail! - DirectorBrad BirdStarsCraig T. NelsonHolly HunterSarah VowellThe Incredibles family takes on a new mission which involves a change in family roles: Bob Parr (Mr. Incredible) must manage the house while his wife Helen (Elastigirl) goes out to save the world. Finally after 14 years!! Kinda let down the kids weren't grown up, and few characters almost had a different look to them. lol
- DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsTye SheridanOlivia CookeBen MendelsohnWhen the creator of a virtual reality called the OASIS dies, he makes a posthumous challenge to all OASIS users to find his Easter Egg, which will give the finder his fortune and control of his world.Spielberg REALLY knows how to go for the little in all of us in telling a great story, full of nostalgia & references eye-candy GALORE!
- DirectorAnthony RussoJoe RussoStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansMark RuffaloAfter the devastating events of Avengers: Infinity War (2018), the universe is in ruins. With the help of remaining allies, the Avengers assemble once more in order to reverse Thanos' actions and restore balance to the universe.(Spoilers) Besides hating Captain America or that little girl swearing........ this is a movie that is like "The Return of the King" of comic book films! That is a whole 3 hours I felt went by so fast because of how FUN it was - I recall not *wanting* the movie to end!
Sorry, no end credit scene!
And if any of you want to complain about the "plot holes", maybe this will help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Crvsedsgquo - DirectorMartin ScorseseStarsAsa ButterfieldChloë Grace MoretzChristopher LeeIn 1931 Paris, an orphan living in the walls of a train station gets wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton.Surprise piece of work from Martin Scorsese, whose films I mostly dislike, which involve drugs, crime, swearing, & violence.
But I loved how everyone worked together in this film that portrayed the real-life filmmaker Georges Méliès (the "Father of Special Effects"), really imaginative, and dare I say, LIKABLE, piece of work. Well-deserving of 5 Oscars.
For a while, I thought Scorsese was learning - but then he went back to being horrid with "Wolf of Wall Street", and don't remind me how horrid that pile of SIN was. - DirectorBruce BeresfordStarsMorgan FreemanJessica TandyDan AykroydAn old Jewish woman and her African-American chauffeur in the American South have a relationship that grows and improves over the years.A real feel-good film.
If everyone in the world was like Morgan Freeman's character, Hoke Colburn, the world would become a really much better place to live! - DirectorEric HeissererStarsPaul WalkerGenesis RodriguezNancy NaveA father struggles to keep his infant daughter alive in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Finally, another film that's completely original & new!
I'm still on utter shock over the tragic & sudden passing of Paul Walker (an actor who I think by the way is way hotter & talented than Leonardo DiCaprio), but his performance in this was one I will never forget - it was so engaging & emotional, and perhaps should've won its own mini-Oscar somehow. - DirectorMel GibsonStarsGerardo TaracenaRaoul Max TrujilloDalia HernándezAs the Mayan kingdom faces its decline, a young man is taken on a perilous journey to a world ruled by fear and oppression. With Mel Gibson, whether you like him or not, you have to admit is a
pretty good actor, and class director with VISION! Say what you want about him, but I like the guy, regardless of his controversy. I think it's time people FORGIVE & FORGET the controversies involving Mel Gibson, and start to realize the talent he has!
I watched this film, with not reading one summary or article about it, not knowing WHAT expect - it
all came out fresh, original, and... just downright INTENSE! The
direction, the acting, characters, the costumes, the tone, the thrills,
suspense, the realism - much more engaging & creative than that
overrated piece of Scorsese trash, "The Departed" was, or even the
boring "No Country For Old Men." Scenes involving the occult human
sacrifice scene though really showed how quite demonic or possessed
these people looked (almost like the indigenous people in Peter
Jackson's "King Kong". Some watching this movie may make the joke that Gibson likes to take blood baths, but hey, it's Hollywood's fault with
the negative influence, not Mel's. To me, this flick reminded me of
"The Jungle Book" (1994) when Mowgli tries escaping the bad guys, as
one by one, they die in the jungle - and that's what also happens in
this. This film really makes you root for the main characters, has a
story that's unique & gripping, and the film all-round worked as a
whole! I would've never guessed in a thousand years Gibson had directed
this if his name didn't appear in the credits; or I probably wouldn't
have even believed anyone if they told me it was Gibson's film!
This should seriously be on the Top 250 films on imdb!
Bravo, Gibson! Bravo! Sorry for watching this film too late in the year

Dwayne just plays a guy you WANNA be! Strong & powerful, but also kind & wise.
They was decent build-up, some decent character development, and I actually cared about a lot of the on-screen people.
Great action, great lines, great effects, and lots of thrills & suspense!

- DirectorBen AffleckStarsBen AffleckRebecca HallJon HammA proficient group of thieves rob a bank and hold an assistant manager hostage. Things begin to get complicated when one of the crew members falls in love with her.I'm a fan of Ben Affleck, number one. And his character is quite a cool one at that.
Number two, I at first didn't want to see this when it came out, because the poster showed the criminals dressed up as nuns, and thought it was gonna misrepresent Christianity & the like.
Number three, I did end up seeing it, and it was genuinely engaging. The story also felt quite relatable at times.
As of now, I didn't mind them dressing up as nuns, because I think it can symbolically show what Catholicism really is all about. Catholicism is not "Christian" by any historical, biblical, or spiritual perspective.
If people are gonna mock Catholicism, GO RIGHT AHEAD! You're doing the right thing! - DirectorMick JacksonStarsClaire DanesJulia OrmondDavid StrathairnA biopic of Temple Grandin, an autistic woman who has become one of the top scientists in the humane livestock handling industry.ALL-ROUND FANTASTIC!

Fascinating fact that it takes 6 to 9 months to write & create *each* episode of the show!

MoyeStarsEd O'NeillChristina ApplegateKatey SagalAl is the quintessential working class dad. Peggy, his wife, always wants more from him. With their children, they go through the highs and lows of ordinary life.A WILD show. All the characters were funny, the writing was great.
Like Roseanne, Back when comedy wasn't a criminal offense. Al wasn’t racist, sexist, or whatever. He disliked everyone equally. That’s why I like him so much.
Peggy: "Hi honey, did you miss me?"
Al: "With every bullet so far"
Classic x-D
I loved this show, insults were common when nobody got offended & there was good sense of humor; man, how things have changed - DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsHarrison FordSean ConneryAlison DoodyIn 1938, after his father goes missing while pursuing the Holy Grail, Indiana Jones finds himself up against the Nazis again to stop them from obtaining its powers.Yup!

And Rachel MacAdams is way better in than in "The Notebook" or "Mean Girls".
...Except for that 5-minute Will Ferrel "meatloaf" scene, that was un-funny & not needed. - DirectorEvan GoldbergSeth RogenStarsJames FrancoJonah HillSeth RogenSix Los Angeles celebrities are stuck in James Franco's house after a series of devastating events just destroyed the city. Inside, the group not only have to face the apocalypse, but themselves.I usually don't find violence or profanity funny. But somehow these bunch of Jewish comedians are able to pull it off! I loved at first the facts that all the actors were using their real names in the movie, I found it quite entertaining at times, especially concerning the fact most of these guys' humor is ad-libbed! Some of the special effects were pretty neat, and I loved Jay Baruchel being the first to reveal the truth of what's going on by reading from the Bible - and one by one, everyone else comes to understand it.
Now of course a downside would be where Jonah Hill is "asking God to kill Jay"; Jonah, there are 2 things you don't understand. Firstly, there's a difference between "praying" and "wishing"; secondly, even if you could make personal requests to God, you can't ask Him to kill someone! It's not in the nature of God to do that.
Anyways, I liked them even addressing the fact that the Lord's name shouldn't be taken in vain, and I liked the end Heaven scene too -yup, I even got the Backstreet Boys song they played! haha

But to be honest, I actually did enjoy this film! I liked the chemistry between Jimmy Stewart and Grace Kelly, I liked the suspense, the humor, the mystery, and the entire film just kept me glued to the screen. The PAYOFF is intense too, where you're just clutching your seat. So yeah, a decent flick where Alfred actually gave some likable effort. Same with "Dial M for Murder"

I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED!
It had a lot of legitimately funny moments, adorable cuteness, and just lovable characters. Sure there were corny moments, but hey, I've seen worse!

This film is especially SO FAMOUS in Japan where I grew up, and I'm really looking forward to how children of this generation are going to turn into GREAT people in the near future. ;)
I do also think this flick is rather "Christ-like" in it's message; whether it be "Some people are worth melting for", or Anna "sacrifices" herself to save her sister. - DirectorCarol ReedStarsMark LesterRon MoodyShani WallisAfter being sold to a mortician, young orphan Oliver Twist runs away and meets a group of boys trained to be pickpockets by an elderly mentor in 1830s London.I would read not seeing this film in my elementary years – I mean, it was there on the video rental shelf at the school, but I never got around to watching it.
