The pilot episode is basically the same as the UK version. Aidan (vampire) & Josh (werewolf) decide to live together so they can attempt the process of Being Human. At the house, they meet Sally the ghost who Josh wants to leave, but Aidan wants her to stay.
Josh has a sister who is so annoying. The show could do without her. She served no purpose.
Aidan vs. Mitchell (Vampire) - The UK version is much more charming & funny. While the US version has some humor, he is more gloomy. I like them both, especially because I love the actors who portrayed them, but Mitchell has an edge over him. How can anyone not love not love that charming vampire?
Josh vs. George (Werewolf) - Again, I adore them both with their cute adorkable selves. Josh's transformation is less disturbing & painful, which is a plus because George's transformation is too much for me. George has the edge because he has is just adorable & unintentionally funny.
Annie vs. Sally (Ghost) - Annie is one of my favorite characters. So, Sally has quite a hill to climb to reach her. Annie could leave the house, touch people & things while Sally cannot do either three. Sally tries to capture Annie's quirkiness, but she does not do it well.
The bromance between Mitchell & George is better than Josh & Aidan even though both are great. Annie & Mitchell were close right off the bat while Idk what Aidan & Sally are.
Overall, I prefer the British characters, but the US version is good too just not as naughty & charming.
