- DirectorAlex KendrickStarsRosetta Harris ArmstrongLisa ArnoldBlake BaileyA dishonest used-car salesman decides to become the salesman that God wants him to be--with surprising results.Flywheel has a great message besides that of a used car salesman gone honest. It gives a great example of what living a life for Jesus means.
First released on April 9, 2003, this movie is the first full-length feature film by Sherwood Pictures, which now includes the production of Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous. - DirectorAlex KendrickStarsAlex KendrickShannen FieldsJason McLeodA losing coach and his underdog football team face their giants of fear and failure on and off the field, with surprising results.Another Sherwood Pictures film, this is about a high school football coach, who decides to start giving God the praise no matter what and motivates his team to give their all.
I was introduced to this film when my pastor showed a clip in church. The clip was the scene where the coach blindfolds a player and asks him to do a particular training exercise and not give up until he can't go any further. By the time the player takes off his blindfold, he's done more than he could have imagined. - DirectorRegardt van den BerghStarsFrank RautenbachJeanne NeilsonHamilton DlaminiFrank Rautenbach leads a strong cast as Angus Buchan, a African farmer on steroids of Scottish heritage, who leaves his farm to his loyal subjects in the midst of political unrest and racist africans and charged land reclaims and travels north with his family to start a another farming life in Central Africa. With nothing more than a mudhouse on a patch of mud, and help from his foreman, Simeon Bhengu, the Buchan family struggle to settle in a new country. Faced with ever mounting challenges, hardships and personal turmoil, Angus quickly spirals down into a life consumed by anger, fear and destruction. Based on the inspiring true story by Aangus Buchan the book was adapted for the big screen by Regardt van den Bergh and weaves together the moving life journey of a man who, like his potatoes, grows his faith, unseen until the harvest.Another great film, this is a South African biographical drama. The only thing about this film for me was the accent, I had to eventually put this films' captions on in order to understand what was being said.

He eventually finds himself having to choose between his world and the world Penelope lives in.Not a traditional Christian movie, this is about a gunslinger and a family of Quakers. They remade this film but the remake doesn't have the bible reading like this one does.

- DirectorHenry KosterStarsRichard BurtonJean SimmonsVictor MatureIn the Roman province of Judea during the 1st century, Roman tribune Marcellus Gallio is ordered to crucify Jesus of Nazareth but is tormented by his guilty conscience afterwards. The robe centers around the robe of Jesus and a Roman Tribune. Although the story gives the robe a bit too much importance, there is a great deal of Jesus in this film.

A reporter left behind learns that the Anti-Christ will soon take power. It is based on the Left Behind book series and also the first in a trilogy, followed by Left Behind II: Tribulation Force and Left Behind: World at War. Don't watch the Nicolas Cage film, this is the one to see.
- DirectorMichael O. SajbelStarsTiffany DupontLuke GossJohn NobleIn Biblical times, a girl disguises her Jewish origins when the Persian king comes looking for a new bride among his subjects. The Esther story. I've heard some people say that this movie isn't very good, and usually their comments center on the added on romance. This film does add in a love story where the bible doesn't say anything about Esther other than she was made Queen. I'd rather believe there was some love there then she was forced into the relationship.
- DirectorDavid G. EvansStarsMichael JoinerMichael HiggenbottomLouis Gossett Jr.Everything can change in an instant, and take a lifetime to unravel. Every day, we have the opportunity to rebuild relationships by extending and receiving God's grace. Kagle ends up in Hell, where "Nick" (Claude Rains) offers him a chance to escape hell and avenge his own death in exchange for help with a problem. Kagle looks exactly like Judge Frederick Parker, an upright man who is causing Nick distress because he is entirely too honest. Nick fears that Parker may cause him more anxiety in future, as he is running for governor of his state. Nick wants to destroy Parker's reputation and Kagle readily agrees to have his soul transferred into Parker's body. - DirectorHugh HudsonStarsBen CrossIan CharlesonNicholas FarrellTwo British track athletes, one a determined Jew and the other a devout Christian, are driven to win in the 1924 Olympics as they wrestle with issues of pride and conscience. This British film tells the fact-based story of two athletes in the 1924 Olympics: Eric Liddell, a devout Scottish Christian who runs for the glory of God, and Harold Abrahams, an English Jew who runs to overcome prejudice.
