Overall this was a surprisingly good movie. I didn't expect much from a zombie movie, but this one has a simple, but yet clear and nicely communicated message. I really loved the philosophy of it: in the end this movie is not about zombies at all, rather about people and the human nature. And yet it is a very easy, funny and pleasant watch, it is neither dark nor gloomy despite the post-apocalyptic scenery. It's not complex, in fact it's really simple and straightforward with a nice pinch of humor and irony here and there. But sometimes the movie doesn't have to be complex to still have a deep meaning.
