Aneurysm.
While aneurysm is said to occur in the brain, it can also take place in the heart, which is a huge shocker. More surprisingly, aneurysm can take place in the abdomen (the stomach, kidneys, and any other areas found in the blood vessel. Whether the aneurysm attacks the heart or brain, it can do some serious damage by causing strokes, which may lead to death. Aneurysm are described as a blood-filled balloon, which can clod the blood vessel. This condition is when the blood wall is extreme weak due to the blood pressure overfilling in the vessels. Hypertension (aka high blood pressure) usually accounts for aneurysm. The severity of aneurysm depends on if the aneurysm is ruptured or not. If ruptured, this condition is life threatening, which requires emergency assistance at once. Most ruptured aneurysm contributes to strokes, which may also prove to be fatal.
Symptoms for cerebral aneurysm are fatigue, dizziness, double vision, speech problems, loss of balance, and loss of perception. Whereas, signs of ruptured aneurysm are severe headaches, double vision, loss of vision, neck pain and stiffness, and pain above and behind the eye.
Risk factors include diabetes, hypertension, obesity, alcoholism, tobacco use (smoking), and mature age.
