Amy Deasismont was born on 15 April 1992 in Norrköping, Östergötlands län, Sweden. She is an actress and writer, known for Thunder in My Heart (2021), Knutby (2021) and Lust (2022).- One of those dazzling chameleon players who never received their due, Amy Wright is still woefully unrecognized despite a superb resumé of Southern-styled film credits since the late 70s. On the other side of the coin, she has certainly made a distinct name for herself in the theater world as the embodiment of down-home eccentricity. As a testament to her interesting dichotomy as an offbeat actress, she played much younger than she was at the onset of her career; these days she tends to play older.
Born on April 15, 1950, in Chicago, Amy was raised in the Midwest and eventually attended Beloit College. She gave up her position as a teacher to pursue her dream to be an actress in New York. Elfin in quality with an intriguing, gap-toothed look, the child-like blonde actress found almost immediate reassurance as an apprentice at actor Rip Torn's Sanctuary Theater, making her stage debut in the company's 1975 production of "Agnes and Joan". Amy and her much older mentor (then married to theater legend Geraldine Page) began a clandestine personal relationship that produced two daughters. Torn never divorced Ms. Page and his longtime relationship with Amy was exposed shortly before his wife's sudden death of a heart attack in 1987. The couple eventually married. Interestingly, Amy appeared with both Torn and Ms. Page in the August Strindberg short plays "Miss Julie", "Creditors" and "The Stronger" in 1977 in repertory at the Hudson Guild Theatre, later taking the last two plays to the Public Theater.
Amy's sweetly countrified look and demeanor inspired a number of standout performances in high quality productions. At age 26, she earned her first major attention on stage playing a crippled teen in a successful revival of Lanford Wilson's "The Rimers of Eldrich" in 1976. Two years later Wilson wrote the stage part of a lifetime for her as 13-year-old Shirley Tally in his acclaimed work "Fifth of July" off-Broadway in 1978. The show made a spectacular transition to Broadway in 1980. In 1983 she shared the Drama Desk Award for her ensemble contribution in the comedy farce "Noises Off".
Amy's film debut was in trademark quirky form with Martha Coolidge's documentary-styled Not a Pretty Picture (1976), and she went on to minor roles in the small-town "A" pictures The Deer Hunter (1978) and Breaking Away (1979). Arguably one of her most spellbinding film appearances came as Harry Dean Stanton's religiously wacko 15-year-old daughter, Sabbath Lily, in John Huston's Wise Blood (1979), following this with an equally strange comic role as a bed-hopping groupie in Woody Allen's Stardust Memories (1980). Amy also shared moments of brilliance opposite John Savage's handicapped lead in Inside Moves (1980); as William Hurt's spinster sis in The Accidental Tourist (1988); in Beth Henley's Southern-baked beauty contest spoof Miss Firecracker (1989); and as Jeff Daniels' soon-to-be-married sister in Love Hurts (1990).
As much as these performances should have placed her at the very top of the Hollywood echelon of character players, Wright was surprisingly ignored for film awards and continued more or less obscurely. Nevertheless, she continued to make strong stage showings opposite the late Uta Hagen in the Off-Broadway winner "Mrs. Klein" in 1995, and as part of the familial comedy relief in "Lake Hollywood" (1999). Other reported stage appearances over time have included "Breakfast with Les and Bes", "Hamlet", A Village Wooing", "The Little Foxes" and "Prin".
On camera she continues with her thoroughly offbeat ways in such movies as The Scarlet Letter (1995), Tom and Huck (1995) (as Aunt Polly), Winning Girls Through Psychic Mind Control (2002), Messengers (2004) and her most recent, The Namesake (2006), along with rare TV appearances in such popular shows as "Law and Order". - Andre Jamal Kinney was born on 15 April 1989 in California, USA. Like many other female Italian film stars, Claudia Cardinale's entry into the business was by way of a beauty pageant. She was 17 years old and studying at the Centro Sperimentale in Rome when she entered a beauty contest, which resulted in her getting a succession of small film roles. Her earthy interpretations of Sicilian women got her noticed by Italian producers, and the combination of her beauty, dark, flashing eyes, explosive sexuality and genuine acting talent virtually guaranteed her stardom. After Careless (1962) she rose to the front ranks of Italian cinema, and became an international star in Federico Fellini's classic 8½ (1963) with Marcello Mastroianni. American audiences may best remember her from her starring role in Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West (1968).- Actor

Elizabeth Montgomery was born into show business. Her parents were screen actor Robert Montgomery and Broadway actress Elizabeth Allen. Elizabeth graduated from the Spence School in New York City and attended the Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York. After three years' intensive training, she made her TV debut in her father's 1950s playhouse series Robert Montgomery Presents (1950) and appeared in more than 200 live programs over the next decade. She once remarked, "I guess you could say I'm a TV baby." Notable early film roles included The Court-Martial of Billy Mitchell (1955) and Johnny Cool (1963). However, she is best remembered for her leading role as the witch Samantha in the top-rated ABC sitcom Bewitched (1964). Her family - mother Endora (Agnes Moorehead), look-alike cousin Serena (Montgomery, wearing a dark wig) and advertising executive husband Darrin (first Dick York then Dick Sargent) - tried to suppress her supernatural skills but often turned to her tricks to solve problems. The signal of impending witchcraft was a twitch of Samantha's nose. After her first and only TV series ended she turned to made-for-TV movies, many of which won critical praise: A Case of Rape (1974), The Legend of Lizzie Borden (1975), Black Widow Murders: The Blanche Taylor Moore Story (1993). She narrated the movie The Panama Deception (1992) which won an Academy Award in 1993. Reference works showed her as 62 when she died though the family said she was 57. Emma Thompson was born on April 15, 1959 in Paddington, London, into a family of actors - father Eric Thompson and mother Phyllida Law, who has co-starred with Thompson in several films. Her sister, Sophie Thompson, is an actor as well. Her father was English-born and her mother is Scottish-born. Thompson's wit was cultivated by a cheerful, clever, creative family atmosphere, and she was a popular and successful student. She attended Cambridge University, studying English Literature, and was part of the university's Footlights Group, the famous group where, previously, many of the Monty Python members had first met.
Thompson graduated in 1980 and embarked on her career in entertainment, beginning with stints on BBC radio and touring with comedy shows. She soon got her first major break in television, on the comedy skit program Alfresco (1983), writing and performing along with her fellow Footlights Group alums Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie. She also worked on other TV comedy review programs in the mid-1980s, occasionally with some of her fellow Footlights alums, and often with actor Robbie Coltrane.
Thompson found herself collaborating again with Fry in 1985, this time in his stage adaptation of the play "Me and My Girl" in London's West End, in which she had a leading role, playing Sally Smith. The show was a success and she received favorable reviews, and the strength of her performance led to her casting as the lead in the BBC television miniseries Fortunes of War (1987), in which Thompson and her co-star, Kenneth Branagh, play an English ex-patriate couple living in Eastern Europe as the Second World War erupts. Thompson won a BAFTA Award for her work on the program. She married Branagh in 1989, continued to work with him professionally, and formed a production company with him. In the late 80s and early 90s, she starred in a string of well-received and successful television and film productions, most notably her lead role in the Merchant-Ivory production of Howards End (1992), which confirmed her ability to carry a movie on both sides of the Atlantic and appropriately showered her with trans-Atlantic honors - both an Oscar and a BAFTA award.
Since then, Thompson has continued to move effortlessly between the art film world and mainstream Hollywood, though even her Hollywood roles tend to be in more up-market productions. She continues to work on television as well, but is generally very selective about which roles she takes. She writes for the screen as well, such as the screenplay for Ang Lee's Sense and Sensibility (1995), in which she also starred as Elinor Dashwood, and the teleplay adaptation of Margaret Edson's acclaimed play Wit (2001), in which she also starred.
Thompson is known for her sophisticated, skillful, though her critics say somewhat mannered, performances, and of course for her arch wit, which she is unafraid to point at herself - she is a fearless self-satirist. Thompson and Branagh divorced in 1994, and Thompson is now married to fellow actor Greg Wise, who had played Willoughby in Ang Lee's Sense and Sensibility (1995). Thompson and Wise have one child, Gaia, born in 1999. She was appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire at the 2018 Queen's Birthday Honours for her services to drama.- Actress

Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson was born in Paris, France, to British parents, Jacqueline Luesby and Chris Watson, both lawyers. She moved to Oxfordshire when she was five, where she attended the Dragon School. From the age of six, Emma knew that she wanted to be an actress and, for a number of years, she trained at the Oxford branch of Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a part-time theatre school where she studied singing, dancing and acting. By the age of ten, she had performed and taken the lead in various Stagecoach productions and school plays.
In 1999, casting began for Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001), the film adaptation of British author J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Casting agents found Emma through her Oxford theatre teacher. After eight consistent auditions, producer David Heyman told Emma and fellow applicants, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint, that they had been cast for the roles of the three leads, Hermione Granger, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley. The release of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's cinematic screen debut. The film broke records for opening-day sales and opening-weekend takings and was the highest-grossing film of 2001. Critics praised the film and the performances of the three leading young actors. The completion of the seventh and eight movies saw Emma receive nominations in 2011 for a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award, and for Best Actress at the Jameson Empire Awards. The Harry Potter franchise won the BAFTA for Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema in February 2011.
2011 saw Emma in Simon Curtis's My Week with Marilyn (2011), alongside a stellar cast of Oscar nominees including Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe and Kenneth Branagh as Sir Laurence Olivier, in addition to Eddie Redmayne, Dame Judi Dench, Dougray Scott, Zoe Wanamaker, Toby Jones and Dominic Cooper. Chronicling a week in Marilyn Monroe's life, the film featured Emma in the supporting role of Lucy, a costume assistant to Colin Clark (Redmayne). The film was released by The Weinstein Company and was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture - Comedy or Musical. In 2012 Emma was seen in Stephen Chbosky's adaptation of his coming-of-age novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012), starring opposite Logan Lerman and Ezra Miller. This independent drama centered around Charlie (Lerman), an introverted freshman who is taken under the wings of two seniors (Watson and Miller) who welcome him to the real world. The film premiered at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival and received rave reviews. The film won the People's Choice Award for Favourite Dramatic Movie and Emma also picked up the People's Choice Award for Favourite Dramatic Movie Actress. Emma was awarded a second time for this role with the Best Supporting Actress Award at the San Diego Film Critics Society Awards where the film also won the Best Ensemble Performance Award.
In summer 2013, Emma starred in Sofia Coppola's American satirical black comedy crime film, The Bling Ring (2013), opposite Katie Chang and Israel Broussard. The film took inspiration from real events and followed a group of teenagers who, obsessed with fashion and fame, burgled the homes of celebrities in Los Angeles. The film opened the Un Certain Regard section of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. Emma also appeared in a cameo role as herself in Seth Rogen's apocalypse comedy This Is The End (2013). The film tells the story about what happens to some of Hollywood's best loved celebrities when the apocalypse strikes during a party at James Franco's house.
In 2014, Emma was seen in Darren Aronofsky's Noah (2014), opposite Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Ray Winstone, Douglas Booth, Logan Lerman, and Anthony Hopkins. The film told the epic, biblical tale of Noah and the ark. Emma plays the role of Ila, a young woman who develops a close relationship with Noah's son, Shem (Booth). Noah made an outstanding $300m since its release in March. In 2015, Emma starred in Regression (2015), written and directed by Alejandro Amenábar and Occultum Luciferus. Also headlined by Oscar-nominated Ethan Hawke, and set in Minnesota in 1990, Regression tells the story of Detective Bruce Kenner (Hawke), who investigates the case of young Angela, played by Emma, who accuses her father of sexual abuse.
In 2012, Emma was honored with the Calvin Klein Emerging Star Award at the ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards. In 2013, Emma was awarded the Trailblazer Award at the MTV Movie Awards in April and was honored with the GQ Woman of the Year Award at the GQ Awards in September. Further to her acting career, Emma is a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN, promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women. Emma graduated from Brown University in May 2014.

Ester Renay Dean is an American Singer, Actress and Grammy Award Nominated Songwriter.
Born in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and raised in Tulsa, Ester is the youngest of five children and was raised in a single mother, low-income household. At a young age she learned how to channel her pain into music, using creative writing as a kind of self-therapy. When she was 15 her mother moved Ester and her sister Deandria to Omaha, Nebraska, leaving her older siblings in Tulsa. The separation made Ester again dig deeper for a connection, drawing her closer to the music. Singing in every studio, writing for local Omaha rappers and producers, Ester unknowingly grass-rooted herself and learned the ins and outs of music production.
At 20 yrs old, Ester made a bold move. She packed her bags and left Omaha with only $500 in her pocket and drove 18 hours alone to Atlanta, Georgia determined to break into the music industry. She sang for anyone who would listen. As fate would have it, Ester sat alone backstage at a Charlie Wilson concert, humming a tune to herself. When music producer Tricky Stewart happened by and heard her, he immediately set up a meeting. Caught unawares by Ester's talent, he was blown away when she played him some samples of not only her singing, but also of her excellent songs. He signed her to a small publishing deal that allowed the fledgling artist to grow and connect with other known writers and producers.
Ester broke into the big leagues when she collaborated with Norwegian record producers, Stargate and major label recording artist, Rihanna to write and record Ester's first #1 hit song "Rude Boy". Going on to write "What's My Name", "Where Have You Been" and several other Rihanna hits, Katie Perry's "Firework" and Nicki Minaj's "Superbass", as well many, many other hits by a Who's Who of contemporary popular artists has earned her the well-deserved nickname, "Ester Dean the Song Machine".
Modern popular songs are often a collaborative effort by a songwriting team, with each member responsible for a different aspect of the song, such as the initial beat, chord structure, lyrics, etc. Ester Dean has established a reputation as a master of the top line or "hook" of a song. Her preferred method is to go into the vocal booth and start improvising over top of the beat, knowing she is onto something when she starts to feel "a little chill" go up her arms.
Esters goals and dreams did not stop there. In 2012 Esther set out to conquer the voice-over world, lending her voice to the hugely popular Blue Sky Studios, Ice Age Franchise, in Continental Drift. As well as in the CG animated Fox film, Rio.
In addition voice-over work, Esther has also contributed to movie soundtracks. When she was approached to write the end title song, Let it Grow for the movie The Lorax, Ester somehow managed to write and deliver the song within five hours of receiving the request. Impressing all with her amazing work ethic, Ester was eventually asked to audition for a small role in an upcoming movie about an all-girl a capella group. She jumped at the chance and landed the role of Cynthia Rose in the hit movie Pitch Perfect, going on to co-star in Pitch Perfect 2 and 3.
"Entertaining is what I love to do. From writing fun songs to make you dance. To singing a love song to make you fall in love. Being silly on the TV screen to make you laugh. To delivering a great line of dialog in a drama to make you cry. My life is all about connecting with people. Hoping to make the world feel like we are all one beating heart if only for second".......Ester Dean- Fay Masterson was born on 15 April 1974 in Kent, England, UK. The American character actress, Florence Rabe, was the daughter of an antique store owner. She gained a degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas in 1906 and went on to a career in teaching and social work. She changed course after being persuaded by a friend to study law, and, passing her bar exam in 1914, practised for four years in San Antonio. When her parents died, she took over the business and travelled abroad extensively to acquire stock, all the while adding to her knowledge of foreign languages (she was, for instance, a fluent Spanish speaker). After the Wall Street crash of 1929, Florence sold the antique store and married Texan oilman William F. Jacoby. Jacoby eventually went bankrupt and the couple moved to California in the late 1930's, briefly becoming proprietors of a bakery.
At this time, Florence, a heavy-set woman of matronly appearance and well into her middle age, developed an interest in acting and auditioned for the part of Miss Bates in the Pasadena Playhouse production of Jane Austen's 'Emma'. This proved to be a momentous career choice. Her popularity became such, that she went on to leading roles with the same company, changing her name to Florence Bates as a nod to her perceived good fortune. In 1939, she screen tested for Alfred Hitchcock, who was sufficiently impressed to cast her as the demanding, imperious dowager Mrs. Edythe Van Hopper in Rebecca (1940). Her excellent performance was the first in a gallery of memorable characters: wealthy socialites, irritable, henpecking wives, hotel managers (The Moon and Sixpence (1942)), theatre owners (Tonight and Every Night (1945)) and unctuous, gossipy landladies (Portrait of Jennie (1948)). She was equally adept at comedy, appearing to great effect in Heaven Can Wait (1943) and Lullaby of Broadway (1951), with frequent co-star S.Z. Sakall, aka 'Cuddles'. She was enjoyably larger-than-life as Danny Kaye's prospective mother-in-law in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (1947) and as Vera-Ellen's inebriated Russian dance teacher, Madame Dilyovska, in On the Town (1949). Bates even essayed a murderess in The Brasher Doubloon (1947). Destined never to win any awards, Florence Bates continued in films until her death in 1954. She was pre-deceased by her sister, her only daughter and her husband.- Actor

Harvey Lembeck was an American actor of Jewish descent, primarily known for comedic roles. Early in his life, Lembeck had worked as a dancer, and radio announcer.
Lembeck was born in Brooklyn, New York City in 1923, and attended New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn.. In 1939, the 16-year-old Lembeck started working as a dancer, part of a dance team known as The Dancing Carrolls. The team performed at the New York World's Fair (April, 1939-October, 1940). Lembeck started dating his teammate, the female dancer Caroline Dubs. Lembeck and Dubs eventually married each other, and remained married until Lembeck's death in 1982.
During World War II, Lembeck served in the United States Army. He was discharged at the end of the War, and soon after started college studies at New York University. He graduated in 1947, with a degree at radio arts. He intended to work as sports radio announcer, but his teacher Robert Emerson advised Lembeck to try his hand at an acting career. Emerson had seen Lembeck perform at the University's theatrical productions and had seen potential in him.
From 1948 to 1951, Lembeck performed at the hit Broadway play "Mister Roberts" by Joshua Logan. The play was an adaptation of a novel by Thomas Heggen, and dramatized life aboard a ship of the United States Navy during the Pacific War campaign of World War II. Based on his Broadway success, Lembeck was offered his first film roles by the a California-based film studio, called 20th Century Fox.
In 1951, Lembeck played parts in three new films: the military-themed comedy "You're in the Navy Now", the film noir "Fourteen Hours", and the scuba-diving- themed war film "The Frogmen". However, he was cast in small parts in each of them. Back in Broadway, Lembeck had more success with the hit play "Stalag 17" by co-writers Donald Bevan and Edmund Trzcinski. The play depicted the life of the inmates in a Gernan prisoners-of-war camp during World War II.
In 1953, a film adaptation of "Stalag 17" was produced by Paramount Pictures, and Lembeck was hired to reprise his role. The film became a surprise box office hit, and Lembeck won the Theater Owners of America's Laurel Award for outstanding comedy performance. Afterwards Lembeck received more offers for film roles, though he was typecast into military roles for most of these films.
In 1955, Lembeck had a main-cast role in a television sitcom "The Phil Silvers Show" (1955-1959). The show featured the misadventures of Master Sergeant Ernest G. Bilko of the United States Army, a self-serving con-man and swindler. Lembeck played the part of Corporal Rocco Barbella, one of Bilko's sidekicks and partners-in-crime. The sitcom lasted four years, and the final episode featured both Bilko and Barbella being arrested for an embezzling scheme and incarcerated.
In the early 1960s, Lembeck played recurring parts in various sitcoms. He was eventually cast in co-starring role in the short-lived military comedy series "Ensign O'Toole" (1962-1963). He continued to appear in films, and had a minor hit with with the comedy film "Beach Party" (1963). He played the film's sympathetic villain, the outlaw biker Eric Von Zipper. Zipper was an affectionate parody of Marlon Brando's character Johnny Strabler from "The Wild One" (1953).
From 1964 to 1966, Lembeck reprise the role of Eric Von Zipper in five sequels to "Beach Party". They were "Bikini Beach" (1964), "Pajama Party" (1964), "Beach Blanket Bingo" (1965), "How to Stuff a Wild Bikini" (1965) and "The Ghost in the Invisible Bikini" (1966). He also played another, unnamed, "motorcycle thug" in the comedy "Dr. Goldfoot and the Bikini Machine" (1965), which spoofed the then-new "James Bond" series of films.
For most of the late 1960s, Lembeck was preoccupied with his theatrical career. In 1964, Lembeck succeeded Jack Kosslyn at the leadership of an actors' workshop. He initially focused on working with comedy scripts, but later started training actors in improvisational comedy. In his view, improvisation was one of the best ways to develop the comedy skills of an actor.
Lembeck had another hit theatrical role in the 1960s, as Sancho Panza in the play "Man of La Mancha" (1965) by Dale Wasserman. The play was itself a loose adaptation of the two-part novel "Don Quixote" (1605, 1615) by Miguel de Cervantes.
For most of the late 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s, Lembeck appeared in guest star roles in television, with infrequent appearances in film. His last film appearance was a bit part in the comedy "The Gong Show Movie" (1980), a notorious flop of its era. He continued to both perform and teach acting.
In January 1982, Lembeck was performing in an episode of the sitcom "Mork & Mindy" (1978-1982), when he suddenly felt ill. Soon after, he had a heart attack and died in the studio set of the show. He was only 58-years-old. Lembeck's children were the actor Michael Lembeck and actress Helaine Lembeck.- Actress

Based on an original screenplay that came from the Dominican Republic and explored Latin-American folklore in its darkest depths, and deeply inspired by Guillermo Del Toro's coming-of-age fantasies The Devil's Backbone and Pan's Labrynth, Ezban crafted his first film to achieve both a festival and commercial success: it played at Fantastic Fest, Sitges, Toronto After Dark and most of the important genre festival of the year, but also became a huge box office hit in Mexico (selling over 35 million pesos in box office and with over 612,000 spectators, becoming the third highest grossing Mexican film of 2022, and the # 1 in the horror genre, not only of 2022 but of the last 3 years!). Mal de Ojo was also distributed in USA and most of the world. It is now available in USA on Vix, and on Mexico and Latinamerica on Amazon Prime Video.
2022 was also the year Isaac had his first TV experience, directing an episode on the awaited reboot of La Hora Marcada (the classic Mexican Twilight-Zone-esque anthology where Del Toro, Cuaron and Lubezki had their beginnings in the 80s, which will come back in 2023), and is currently developing and set to direct in other TV genre projects in Mexico and USA.
Represented by Vision Entertainment and Good Fear Management, Isaac is set to direct his fifth film (also within the coming-of-age / horror landscape) during 2023, while he's currently working on more screenplays of his own, and has been hired by Sony Pictures to direct the awaited adaptation of Dan Simmons's classic horror novel Summer Of Night.- Stunts

Jack Williams was born on 15 April 1921 in Butte, Montana, USA. He was an actor, known for Innerspace (1987), Wild Wild West (1999) and Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins (1985). He was married to Clare. He died on 10 April 2007 in Sylmar, California, USA.- Jason Sehorn was born on 15 April 1971 in Berkeley, California, USA. He is an actor, known for Third Watch (1999), Women's Murder Club (2007) and Arli$$ (1996). He has been married to Meghann Hessert Gunderman since 30 January 2017. They have one child. He was previously married to Angie Harmon and Whitney Casey.
- Jean Willes is best known for her roles in a number of B-movies in the 1950s and 1960s, as well as on the small screen. Lovely and curvaceous, she usually played hard-boiled gold-diggers, party girls, gun molls, and saloon girls. She came off as a wily, smarter version of Barbara Nichols or Iris Adrian, and although she was versatile, she never rose to the first tier of stardom; in retrospect, she seems to have been capable of much more than she was given during her three-decade-plus career.
Born in Los Angeles on April 15, 1923, she was raised in Utah and in Seattle. Interested in an acting career, she returned to the town of her birth and in 1942 started showing up in comedy film shorts for Columbia under her birth name. She was a smart and sexy foil to, among others, such enjoyable comics as Harry Langdon, Andy Clyde, Eddie Foy Jr., Joe DeRita, Sterling Holloway, and Hugh Herbert. After bit parts in such feature-length films as So Proudly We Hail! (1943), Here Come the Waves (1944), and Salty O'Rourke (1945), she began earning co-star status in such post-war feature-length programs as Revenue Agent (1950) opposite Douglas Kennedy, in A Yank in Indo-China (1952), and in one of Johnny Weissmuller's "Jungle Jim" outings.
Willes became a cheesecake fixture in Hollywood, and film and TV work was steady. But when she was lucky enough to score a role in an "A" film, she was barely glimpsed, as in the Bob Hope comedy Son of Paleface (1952) and the "Best Picture" war epic From Here to Eternity (1953). She had the most screen time in an "A" film as Dr. Miles Bennell (Kevin McCarthy)'s beautiful nurse and, reading between the lines, former paramour, in the sci-fi cult classic, Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1956). (SPOILER: She succumbs to the aliens, like everyone else aside from Bennell, in the fictional California town of Santa Mira.) She was one of the four women vying for an aging Clark Gable's attentions in The King and Four Queens (1956), one of his lesser efforts. Guest spots on TV gave her greater visibility, and she frequently was seen in westerns (The Life and Legend of Wyatt Earp (1955), Maverick (1957)) and crime dramas (Perry Mason (1957)), usually playing unsympathetic women although occasionally playing more agreeable or respectable characters. Her last feature films roles were in McHale's Navy (1964), The Cheyenne Social Club (1970), and Bite the Bullet (1975). After a few more TV roles, she retired in 1976.
Willes died of liver cancer on January 3, 1989 at the age of 65. Her second husband, NFL football player Gerard Cowhig, died at their Van Nuys, California, home in 1995. They had one son, Gerry. - Actor

Beginning in the 1960s, most of his work was in television, including a nine-episode stint on Family Affair (1966) taking over Sebastian Cabot's duties as Brian Keith's butler when Cabot was waylaid by health problems.
He retired in the late '70s, his last acting gig being an appearance on Battlestar Galactica (1978) in 1979. He was known by many in the last phase of his career for his work on one of the first TV infomercials, when he served as the pitchman for a classical music record collection called "120 Music Masterpieces."
