- CreatorMichael HefferonStarsJonathan MalenJeff BurrellTajja IsenThis show provides the illusion of a quality effort, but if you pay close enough attention, any faults are incredibly easy to point out, that combined with objectively bad aspects plaguing other shows leaves a festering mess that deserves to be forgotten.
- CreatorJ.G. QuintelStarsJ.G. QuintelWilliam SalyersSam MarinThe surreal misadventures of two best friends - a blue jay and a raccoon - as they seek to liven up their mundane jobs as groundskeepers at the local park.To me, it's a mess. I like shows of this style, don't get me wrong, but it misses the mark. I don't know what people see in this show, I just see an ugly art design without the appeal (and you can't say they intended it to be that way.), I never got to care for the characters, so any development would be rendered meaningless to me, plus I feel this show gets far too much credit. Plus the creator has reached unbelievable stagnation, I feel his next effort would be close to the same crap we got here.
- CreatorPendleton WardStarsJohn DiMaggioJeremy ShadaTom KennyA 12-year-old boy and his best friend, a wise 28-year-old dog with magical powers, go on a series of surreal adventures in a remote future.I blame this for starting the "bean smile" fiasco, it introduced the idea of simplified art direction and it spread like wildfire to other shows. Some of the others did it better, others did not. Also not a big action fan, but the glaring ugliness of the art style is what sets this apart from others.
- CreatorDavid SlackBob HaneyBruno PremianiStarsHynden WalchGreg CipesScott MenvilleA team of five teenaged superheroes save the world from many villains around their city while experiencing things normal teens face today.Incredibly schizophrenic, we get fast paced comedy, and crash right into generic darkness, and this is amplified by the art director not being able to choose between replicating the intial DC style or making this full on anime (and with the latter, we get a lot of those tropisims used to hide the desire to stay on model.
Plus the finale, only because it came after what would've been a good finale. - CreatorDavid BurkeLaslo NosekStarsScott MenvilleJerry SrokaMariette HartleyThe show's title characters are a pair of alien brothers named Guapo and Fraz, both of whom work as couriers, who travel throughout their universe to deliver packages to a different planet in each episode of the series. If you don't remember this, good on you. It doesn't even deserve to quality as a footnote.
- CreatorAl JeanMike ReissStarsJon LovitzNick JamesonMaurice LaMarcheJay Sherman is a New York film critic who has to review films he doesn't like for a living. It's well past its prime, many other shows came out that rendered this one obsolete. None of the characters are particularly likable, the movie references feel telegraphed and lack a proper punch, plus the ultimate cardinal sin, making us feel sorry for anyone when we should leave it to us.
By the way, why portray the savior of true cinema as a fat fey balding punchline? - CreatorMike ReissStarsJim J. BullockKevin Michael RichardsonBilly WestQueer Duck is a gay animated cartoon (created in the United States of America) with 20 episodes talking about and making fun of gay relationships, sex, making fun of how gays have to deal with homophobic people and making fun of other issues.Watch one episode, you basically get the idea, that including the fact that Mike Reiss may be a closeted homophobe.
- CreatorStephen ColbertR.J. FriedMatt LappinStarsJeff BergmanJames AdomianGabriel GundackerFrom executive producer Stephen Colbert comes this hilarious animated workplace comedy where the office is oval. It's a character study in search of character and a timely political send-up of our forty-fifth president.Even never-Trumpers deserve better than a shallow attempt at a cartoon made by people with no experience in the field beyond occasional voice-acting.
Also proof that flash animation isn't the worst method of animation. - CreatorSavage Steve HollandKat LikkelStarsMelissa Joan HartEmily HartNick BakayShort lived animated spin off of the television series Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The animated series is a prequel which features Sabrina as a pre-teen girl with small witch powers. Also features the hilarious wise-cracking cat Salem, Sabrina's naive surfer dude friend Harvey, spoiled brat rich girl Gem Stone, Sabrina's rule stricken uncle Uncle Quigley, Sabrina's spaced out friend Pi, and of course, Aunt Hilda and Aunt Zelda, Sabrina's two criticizing, witchy aunts. This actually effed up the comics the series was based on, also the fact that this was never that good to begin with, and its lead actress tried less than other kid actors.
- CreatorCraig McCrackenStarsCathy CavadiniElizabeth DailyTara StrongThree super-powered little girls constantly save the world (or at least the city of Townsville) from monsters, would-be conquerers and a few other gross things.Admittedly the fandom played a part in me hating this show, but I just never found it that good to begin with. You can't watch the show without hearing someone bitch about the original stars not being in the new one.
- StarsRobbie DaymondNadji JeterFred TatasciorePeter Parker, a new student at the famous Horizon High, fights evil super-villains as the costumed superhero, Spider-Man.Proof that action shows aren't automatically good, and how even anime styles can be bland.
- CreatorBob DaviesTrevor BentleyMauro CasaleseStarsTony RosatoTony DanielsRick JonesA smart, and sugary-sweet Canadian girl leads a double life as a defender of the galaxy.Has to be the cheapest-looking Canadian flash cartoon I've ever seen, and without any nuance that can give it some redemption. Ugly characters, flat comedy, plus it actually annoys me how often the hero wins.
