THE FLASH SEASON 5 RATINGS
Yes s.5 is another failure from ''The Flash'', but at least we got the best crossover in the Arrowverse yet (= Elseworlds part1)
Even though she was kinda engaging in the start, i hated Nora, the actress was mostly decent, but the character was unbelievably naive, stupid and childish for a CSI in her 30's. After the second half of the season she was painful to watch (the same can be said for the season itself). To top it off, the writers made the WHOLE season about her. Barry unfortunately became a guest star in his own show, in some episodes it seemed like his presence was pointless. The writers managed also to ruin Cisko, the most enjoyable person in the show. I hated him this season and his ark (if you can call it that way) made no sense. Even C.Valdes seemed like he had a bad time. Iris continues to be annoying like in s.4, the fact that everyone has to agree with her and ask her about anything is absurd, but of course for the writers is completely logical. Despite not being a bad character, Sherlock is definitely the worst Wells so far. There is another dumb, unnecessary and horribly written subplot for Caitlin/Frosty. Some of the humour was total cringe (but sometimes they nailed it, like in the premiere)
About that abomination of a villain that T.Flash named Cicada. Let me clarify that he would have been horrible even as a villain of the week, but making the main villain, it is like the writers are trying to destroy their own show. His motive, the character himself, his look and voice (which were so bad to the point of being laughable) and of course C.Klein insanely over the top wicked performance, all sucked, the fact that the ONLY thing he did in the whole season was killing a bunch of metas didn't help. Shecada was better, but SLIGHTLY
For the positives, the only i have to state except the standards is Reverse-Flash. I was thrilled with his return in the show and naturally T.Cavanagh nailed it yet again
Overall rating: 7.3/10
