- DirectorAnthony PaganoStarsDickey BettsDan TolerFrank LombardiDickey Betts & The Great Southern Band performed live at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and Museum September 28, 2004. Betts, who was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995 as a member of the Allman Brothers Band, is the first inductee to record a new release live at the Museum. Dickey Betts joined the Allman Brothers Band as second lead guitarist and singer in the late 1960s. In addition to matching bandleader Duane Allman lick for lick, Betts also wrote such memorable songs as "Revival" and the instrumental hit "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed." After Duane Allman was killed in a road accident in 1971, Betts and Allman's brother Gregg shared leadership of the band, with Betts writing and singing the group's biggest hit, "Ramblin' Man." Betts released his first solo album Highway Call, in 1974. The Allmans split up in 1976, and Betts formed Dickey Betts & Great Southern. The Allmans reformed in 1978, with Betts contributing "Crazy Love", "Angeline" and "Straight From the Heart." Betts returned with the Dickey Betts Band (becoming Dickey Betts & Great Southern in 2002) and Pattern Disruptive in 1988. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum exists to educate its visitors, fans and scholars from around the world about the history and significance of rock and roll music. The Museum carries out this mission through its efforts to collect, preserve, exhibit and interpret this art form.

- 20121h 37mNot Rated8.4 (106)VideoStarsMuddy WatersJohn PrimerLovie LeeThe Rolling Stones join Muddy Waters' band on stage in 1981, at the Checkerboard Lounge in Chicago's Bronzeville neighborhood. Muddy, whose health was declining, dying 1 ½ years later, is sitting down, playing a rather desultory set when the Rolling Stones finally lurch into the club. This seems to fire up Muddy who plays standing up the rest of the show, but needs to urge the Stones, who idolized Muddy, to join him. One by one they do. Muddy beseeches Mick Jagger, who seems the drunkest of the Stones, coming up last to sing with Muddy on several tunes. Guitarist Buddy Guy, who was an owner of the club, joins the group, along with harpist Junior Wells and a fiery Lefty Dizz. The Stones were playing in Rosemont, Illinois on the Tattoo You tour, and this was their night off. The film of the set appeared immediately on bootlegs, but was not issued on DVD until 2012.I saw muddy also

- DirectorMarcus VinerStarsKeith EmersonGreg LakeCarl PalmerEmerson, Lake & Palmer, also known as ELP, are an English progressive rock super group. They found success in the 1970s and sold over forty million albums and headlined large stadium concerts - one of the largest at California Jam (Cal Jam) in 1974 was in front of 200,000 people. The band consists of Keith Emerson (keyboards), Greg Lake (bass guitar, vocals, guitar) and Carl Palmer (drums, percussion). They are one of the most commercially successful progressive rock bands and from the outset focused on combining classical pieces with rock music. The legendary Rock Band reunited to celebrate their 40th Anniversary and headlined London's first High Voltage Rock Festival. This was the historic moment when Emerson Lake and Palmer performed for the first time since 1998. This spectacular performance with extravagant special effects and lighting recaptured the magic and musical genius of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake and Carl Palmer as they performed their greatest hits in front of thousands of fans and leaving a lasting memory of the stunning musicianship of these three legendary performers.
