Gary Trousdale was born in La Crescenta, California. His fascination with animation was fostered as a child, where he drew cartoons from an elementary school age. He planned to become an architect, but decided instead to study animation at CalArts, where he studied for three years. He was hired in 1982 to design storyboards and do other animation. He then went to work designing restaurant menus and t-shirts. He was hired in 1985 by Disney to work on "The Black Cauldron," and continued his relationship with the company for years. He gained true prominence in his field with the success of his animated film directorial debut "Beauty and the Beast," which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Picture. Lauren Shuler Donner has, in the past four decades, established herself as one of the most successful and versatile producers in Hollywood. To date, her films have grossed close to $5 billion worldwide. She crossed over to Executive the very successful "Legion" for FX and "The Gifted" for FBC.
Shuler Donner was bound for success from the beginning, as the first feature film she produced was the smash hit comedy, "Mr. Mom," one of the top ten grossing films the year. She then went on to produce "Ladyhawke" starring Matthew Broderick, Michelle Pfeiffer and Rutger Hauer and "St. Elmo's Fire" and "Pretty in Pink," both of which garnered platinum records for their soundtracks. In the early '90s, Shuler Donner produced the box office smash hits "Dave" and "Free Willy," two of the top ten films of 1993. The critically acclaimed "Dave" was nominated for both an Academy Award® (Best Original Screenplay) and a Golden Globe (Best Picture-Comedy). She went on to produce "You've Got Mail," "Any Given Sunday," "Radio Flyer," "3 Fugitives" and the sequel to "Free Willy." As head of The Donners' Company, she has executive-produced "Volcano," "Bulworth," "Just Married" and "Semi-Pro". Shuler Donner's other recent productions include "Timeline" with Paul Walker and Gerard Butler, "Constantine" with Keanu Reeves and Rachel Weisz, and "She's The Man" with Amanda Bynes. In October 2008, both Shuler Donner and her husband Richard Donner were awarded Stars next to each other on Hollywood Blvd Walk o f Fame. Don Bluth was one of the chief animators at Disney to come to the mantle after the great one's death. He eventually became the animation director for such films as The Rescuers (1977) and Pete's Dragon (1977). Unfortunately, the quality of animation that Disney was producing at this point was not up to par with the great works of Disney, and there was rumor that the production unit at Disney might be shut down indefinitely. In retaliation, Bluth and several other animators led a walkout, and went off to form their own independent animation firm. Bluth's first animated feature may still be his best. The Secret of NIMH (1982) was an animated film based on the children's book "Mrs. Frisbee and the Rats of Nimh". The film dealt with a widowed field mouse named Mrs. Brisbee and her plight to move her house before the farmer plants his field. The rats of Nimh, an organization of super intelligent rats, band together to help her. "The Secret of NIMH" was a visually ravishing film that hearkened back to the glory days of Disney. While animation buffs raved, the film did little business at the box office. (The growing number of VCR's in America would help the film reach a cult status on home video). Undaunted, Bluth persevered. He created the video games Dragon's Lair (1983) and Space Ace (1983), both of which allowed the player to control an actual cartoon. He later teamed up with Steven Spielberg for the films An American Tail (1986) and The Land Before Time (1988). While Bluth's ambition to restore animation to its previous glory was being realized, the Disney studio, whose recent films had failed to match Bluth's at the box office, was finally ready to return to true quality. With the release of The Little Mermaid (1989) and Beauty and the Beast (1991), Bluth had to compete with a Goliath. After his next film, All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989), received mixed opinions and failed to be more than a minor box office success, Bluth fell into a failing streak of films that were comparatively mediocre when placed alongside his previous work, including Rock-A-Doodle (1991), and Thumbelina (1994). Bluth later joined forces with 20th Century Fox where he made his first commercial hit in some time, Anastasia (1997). He followed up with the ambitious but hollow science fiction fantasy Titan A.E. (2000). While Bluth has yet to reach the glory of his earlier work, he nonetheless deserves credit as a champion of animation, and for surviving as an independent film maker.Producer- Writer

Canadian producer and director Ivan Reitman created many of American cinema's most successful and best loved feature film comedies and worked with Hollywood's acting elite. Reitman produced such hits as the ground-breaking sensation National Lampoon's National Lampoon's Animal House (1978), which introduced John Belushi to American filmgoers, and the family features Beethoven (1992) and Beethoven's 2nd (1993). His directing credits include Meatballs (1979), Stripes (1981) and Ghostbusters (1984), films starring Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis; Dave (1993), which starred Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver, Junior (1994) which starred Arnold Schwarzenegger, Danny DeVito and Emma Thompson. Reitman also produced the HBO telefilm The Late Shift (1996), based on Bill Carter's non-fiction book about the late-night television wars which received seven Emmy nominations. Other producing endeavors include Commandments (1997), starring Aidan Quinn and Courteney Cox, Private Parts (1997), starring Howard Stern, as well as the animation/live action film Space Jam (1996), starring Michael Jordan and the Looney Tunes characters. With Twins (1988), Reitman created an entirely new comedic persona for action hero Arnold Schwarzenegger -- and forged a personal and professional relationship that continued with Kindergarten Cop (1990) and Junior (1994). Acclaimed dramatic actors such as Robert Redford, Debra Winger, Sigourney Weaver, and Emma Thompson also revealed untapped comic talents under Reitman's direction. In 1984, Reitman was honored as Director of the Year by the National Association of Theater Owners and the next year received a Special Achievement Award at the Canadian Genie awards. In 1979 and again in 1989, for the films National Lampoon's Animal House (1978) and Twins (1988), Reitman was honored with the People's Choice Award. In November of 1994, Reitman became the third director honored by Variety magazine in a special Billion Dollar Director issue.
Reitman was born in Czechoslovakia, to Jewish Holocaust survivors, and left with his family for Canada at the age of four. He attended Canada's McMaster University, where he produced and directed several television shorts. He followed with a live television show, Greed: The Series (1999), with Dan Aykroyd as its announcer. "Spellbound," which Reitman produced for the live stage, evolved into the Broadway hit "The Magic Show," starring Doug Henning. He continued producing for the stage with the Off-Broadway hit "The National Lampoon Show," and returned to Broadway to produce and direct the musical "Merlin," earning a Tony nomination for directing. Reitman headed The Montecito Picture Company, a film and television production company, with partner Tom Pollock. His television credits included the Emmy-nominated children's show The Real Ghostbusters (1986) and the Saturday morning animated series Beethoven (1994) for CBS. His last directing credited was Draft Day (2014), before his death in February 2022 in Montecito, California.Executive Producer- Tom Pollock served as chairman of Universal Pictures from 1986 to 1996 and was the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the American Film Institute. Adept at playing comic brat extraordinaires both on film and TV, David Spade was born on July 22, 1964, in Birmingham, Michigan, the youngest of three brothers. He is the son of Judith J. (Meek), a writer and editor, and Wayne M. Spade, a sales rep, and is of German, English, Irish, and Scottish descent. Raised in both Scottsdale (from age four) and Casa Grande, Arizona, he graduated with a degree in business from Arizona State University in 1986. A natural prankster most of his life, Spade was pushed immediately into stand-up comedy by friends and appeared in nightclubs and college campuses all over the country.
A casting agent saw his routine at "The Improv" in Los Angeles and offered him a mischievous role in the film Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol (1987). In 1990, the diminutive, flaxen-haired comedian finally hit the big time as a regular cast member and writer on Saturday Night Live (1975). Slow at first in gaining acceptance on the show, his razor-sharp sarcasm eventually caught on by his second season, when he played a number of smart-aleck characters in a variety of sketches, including a highly disinterested airline steward who bids each passenger adieu with a very sardonic "buh-bye" and an irritating receptionist for Dick Clark Productions who greets each huge celebrity with an unknowing "And you are . . . ?" A master of the putdown, Spade's "Hollywood Minute" reporter also took cynical advantage of tabloid-worthy stars. Spade impersonated such luminaries as Michael J. Fox, Kurt Cobain and Tom Petty during his tenure.
Following his SNL departure after six years, he spun off into a slapstick movie career, most noticeably as the scrawny, taciturn foil to SNL's wild and crazy big boy Chris Farley in Tommy Boy (1995) and Black Sheep (1996). The teaming of this unlikely but funny pair ended with Farley's death from a 1997 drug overdose. Since then, Spade has appeared in his own lukewarm vehicles, including Joe Dirt (2001) and Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star (2003). More recently he teamed with former SNL member Rob Schneider on the film The Benchwarmers (2006). Television has been more accepting over the years, with Spade earning an Emmy nomination as the droll, skirt-chasing secretary Dennis Finch on Just Shoot Me! (1997) and filling in after the untimely death of John Ritter on ABC's 8 Simple Rules (2002) as Katey Sagal's unprincipled nephew.
Into the millennium, David was the star of the Comedy Central show The Showbiz Show with David Spade (2005) in 2005 wherein he more or less resurrected his obnoxious, razor-tongued gossipmonger from the old "Hollywood Minute" put-down segment on SNL, as well as co-starring in the adult-oriented ensemble sitcom Rules of Engagement (2007).
More recent comic film vehicles include The Benchwarmers (2006), The Do-Over (2016) alongside Adam Sandler; Father of the Year (2018); and The Wrong Missy (2020), along with cocky supporting roles in Entourage (2015) (as himself); the Adam Sandler vehicles Jack and Jill (2011), Grown Ups (2010), Grown Ups 2 (2013) and The Ridiculous 6 (2015); Sandy Wexler (2017); a voice in the animated feature Hotel Transylvania (2012) and its sequel Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018); Mad Families (2017) (also-co-wrote); and the rare dramatic thriller Warning Shot (2018). He also played recurring parts on the TV programs Carpet Bros (2008), Love (2016) and The Mayor (2017).as Bartok (voice)- Actor

Suzanne Pleshette achieved television immortality in her role as Bob Newhart's wife in the 1970s classic situation comedy, The Bob Newhart Show (1972). For her role as "Emily Hartley," wife of psychologist "Bob Hartley" (played by Bob Newhart), Pleshette was nominated for the Emmy Award twice, in 1977 and 1978. She was also nominated for an Emmy in 1962 for a guest appearance on the TV series, Dr. Kildare (1961) and, in 1991, for playing the title role in Leona Helmsley: The Queen of Mean (1990) in a 1990 TV movie. Her acting career lasted almost 50 years.
Suzanne Pleshette was born on January 31, 1937, in New York, New York, to Gene Pleshette, a TV network executive who had managed the Paramount Theaters in Manhattan and Brooklyn during the Big Band era, and the former Geraldine Kaplan, a dancer who performed under the pseudonym Geraldine Rivers. Pleshette claims that she was not an acting natural, but just "found" herself attending New York City's High School of the Performing Arts. After graduating high school, she attended Syracuse University for a semester before returning to NYC to go to Finch College, an elite finishing school for well-to-do young ladies. After a semester at Finch, Pleshette dropped out of college to take lessons from famed acting teacher Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse.
She made her Broadway debut in 1957 as part of the supporting cast for the play Compulsion (1959). Initially cast as "The Fourth Girl," she eventually took over the ingénue role during the play's run.
Blessed with beauty, a fine figure, and a husky voice that made her seem older than her years, she quickly achieved success on both the small and big screens. She made her TV debut, at age 20, in Harbourmaster (1957), then was chosen as the female lead opposite superstar Jerry Lewis in his 1958 comedy, The Geisha Boy (1958). On Broadway, she replaced Anne Bancroft in the Broadway hit The Miracle Worker (1962).
Once Pleshette started acting, her career never lagged until she was afflicted with cancer.
Her most famous cinematic role was in Alfred Hitchcock's classic, The Birds (1963), as the brunette schoolteacher jilted by the hero of the film, "Mitch Brenner" (played by Rod Taylor). Pleshette's warm, earthy character was a perfect contrast to the icy blonde beauty, "Melanie Daniels" (Tippi Hedren).
Frankly, it is hard to understand how Taylor's Mitch would jilt Pleshette's Annie, other than to work out Hitchcock's dark vision of society and psychosexual relations between the sexes, in which amoral blondes triumph for aesthetic rather than moral reasons.
Still, it is for Emily Hartley she will always be remembered, for both the original show and her part in another show that had the most clever sign-off episode in TV series history. Bob Newhart had enjoyed a second success during the 1980s with his TV sitcom Newhart (1982), and when he decided to end that series, he asked Suzanne Pleshette to come back. She did, reprising her tole of Emily in a final episode of Newhart, where Newhart woke up as Bob Hartley from "The Bob Newhart Show" in the bedroom of the Hartley's Chicago apartment, Pleshette's Emily at his side. Bob Hartley then told his wife Emily of a crazy dream he'd just had, where he was the proprietor of a Vermont inn overrun with eccentrics, the premise of the second show.
After "The Bob Newhart Show" ceased production, Suzanne Pleshette worked regularly on television, mostly in TV movies. Although she was a talented dramatic actress, she had a flair for comedy and, in 1984, she headlined her own series at CBS. She helped develop the half-hour sitcom, and even had the rare honor of having her name in the title. Suzanne Pleshette Is Maggie Briggs (1984), however, was not a success. She co-starred with Hal Linden in another short-lived CBS TV series, The Boys Are Back (1994), in the 1994-95 season, then had recurring roles in the TV series Good Morning, Miami (2002) and 8 Simple Rules (2002).
Pleshette was married three times: In 1964, she wed teen idol Troy Donahue, her co-star in the 1962 film Rome Adventure (1962) and in 1964's A Distant Trumpet (1964), but the marriage lasted less than a year. She was far more successful in her 1968 nuptials to Texas oil millionaire Tommy Gallagher, whom she remained married to until his death in 2000. After becoming a widow, she and widower Tom Poston (a Newhart regular) rekindled an old romance they had enjoyed when appearing together in "The Golden Fleecing," a 1959 Broadway comedy. They were married from 2001 until Poston's death, in April 2007.
Pleshette was diagnosed with lung cancer and underwent chemotherapy in the summer of 2006; she rallied, but in late 2007, she barely survived a bout of pneumonia. She died of respiratory failure on January 19, 2008, a few days shy of her 71st birthday.
Suzanne Pleshette was remembered as a gregarious, down-to-earth person who loved to talk and often would regale her co-stars with a naughty story. Newhart and his producers had picked her for the role of Emily in "The Bob Newhart Show" after watching her appearances with Johnny Carson on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson (1962), where she showed herself to be a first-rate raconteuse. Because she could hold her own with Newhart's friend Carson, it was felt she would be a perfect foil as Newhart's TV wife.
She accepted the part, and TV history was made.as Baba Yaga (voice)- Actor

An actress who always attracts audiences' attention, Jennifer Tilly is by turns funny, sexy, compassionate, compelling and often all at once. She has been playing unforgettable characters ever since she started her career as an actress.
Jennifer Tilly was born Jennifer Ellen Chan in Harbor City, Los Angeles, to Harry Chan, a used car salesman, who was of Chinese origin, and Patricia (née Tilly), a schoolteacher and stage actress. Her sister is actress Meg Tilly. They were raised on rural Texada Island, British Columbia, by her mother and stepfather, John Ward.
Jennifer successfully cultivated another fan base with the revitalization of the "Child's Play" horror comedy franchise. For Ronny Yu's Bride of Chucky (1998), the filmmakers turned to Jennifer to create the character who would spark the series in a new direction. She met the challenge and established a new horror icon in Tiffany. In Rogue Pictures' Seed of Chucky (2004), written and directed by series creator Don Mancini, Jennifer again took the popular series to the next level; starring as Tiffany and as herself, the deadly doll's favorite actress, who soon becomes an unwitting hostess in more ways than one.
Jennifer's pitch-perfect voiceover work as Tiffany is not the only instance of her being able to incarnate a character from the vocal chords out. Families know her distinctive cadences from the Disney hits Home on the Range (2004), directed by Will Finn and John Sanford; The Haunted Mansion (2003) (in which Jennifer acted from the neck up only), directed by Rob Minkoff; and the Pixar blockbuster Monsters, Inc. (2001) (voicing Mike's love interest Celia), directed by Pete Docter, David Silverman and Lee Unkrich. She began her acting career as a teenager, putting herself through the theater program at Stephens College in Missouri by winning writing competitions. She then headed to Los Angeles, California. While she continued to act on the stage (earning a Dramalogue Award for her performance in "Vanities"), movies and television immediately came calling for the actress with the unique voice and visage.
In 2001, she starred in the Broadway revival of "The Women" with Cynthia Nixon and Kristen Johnson, which was later taped for, and broadcast on, PBS. In 2008, she appeared with Miranda Richardson in the critically acclaimed production of Wallace Shawn's play "Grasses of a Thousand Colors" at the Royal Court Theatre in London. Other plays include "Tartuffe" (LAAT) "Boy's Life" (LAAT) "Baby with the Bathwater" (LAPT) and others too numerous to mention. Diedrich Bader was born in Alexandria, Virginia, but moved to Paris, France, with his family at age two. While in the "City of Light" he developed an appreciation for movie legends like Fred Astaire and Charles Chaplin. So, when a fragile "Chaplin" movie reel burned in the theater's projector, four-year-old Bader hopped on stage and entertained the crowd with an imitation of the "Little Tramp." The standing ovation he received set the course for the rest of his life--he knew he wanted to perform.
He returned to the United States for high school and attended North Carolina School of the Arts. During spring break he was discovered by a casting director in Santa Fe, New Mexico. That meeting led to an audition for a small role in a TV pilot. Bader landed a starring role instead. Although the pilot wasn't picked up, Bader moved to Los Angeles and began auditioning for other roles. He landed guest spots on several series, including Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987), The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air (1990), Cheers (1982) and Quantum Leap (1989). Filmmaker Penelope Spheeris liked his tongue-in-cheek delivery when he read for her action-adventure spoof series, Danger Theatre (1993). She hired him in that role and for the feature film The Beverly Hillbillies (1993), which she directed. Bader played the dual roles of twins Jethro and Jethrine Beaudine. He also filmed the political thriller The Assassination File (1996) for the Encore Entertainment Group. Bader was excited to work on the project, as it allowed him to be shot in the head -- a first for the actor. Bader's father, William, was Chief of Staff for the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and is president of the Eurasia Foundation on Capitol Hill. His mother, Gretta, is a sculptor whose portrait of the late Sen. J. William Fulbright sits in the National Gallery in Washington, DC. Bader's wife is actress Dulcy Rogers; they reside in Los Angeles, CA.as Vol (voice)- Actor

Barbara Goodson is a "lifer" in show biz. Truly in love with all aspects of this wild & crazy craft. Was aware of her mimicry skills early on in life when she imitated family members & caught on to the positive attention it gave her & the pleasure & camaraderie it gave to others. She delights in the task of putting her own stamp on a character whether it be dramatic, musical, comedic &/or in film, cartoons, v/o, nightclubs, stage, TV, etc.
Stuck in a tiny woman's body has always been her challenge since she's always felt much bigger than her under 5' stature & has been recognized for her powerful vocal range playing many nasty yet amusing "bad ladies" on & off screen.
She has no intention of ever retiring...& continues to dream of working with more of the 'heavy weights' & being cast in meaningful, well received & lucrative projects. Believes acting is a blessed career that can move mountains. It's not for sissies & contains a community of (mostly) evolved, concerned humans. She is proud to have had the modicum of success she has achieved & looks forward to more.as Additional Voices (voice)- Actress

Ralph Ferraro was one of the most versatile and accomplished musicians to work in the entertainment industry. As composer, arranger, conductor and performer, Ferraro amassed an impressive list of accomplishments over a career which spanned seven decades. Within the knowledgable community of fellow musicians, Ralph Ferraro was respected and appreciated for his abilities and professionalism, but public recognition was fleeting, as Ralph Ferraro remained unsung for much of his career. Ralph Albert Ferraro was born on July 3, 1929 in Waterbury, Connecticut. He received his formal musical education at the Manhattan School of Music, and pursued a career as a percussionist with a number of popular swing bands, among these that of Sam Donohue. Following a stint in the U. S. Navy, Ferraro married his boyhood sweetheart, Manuelita (Mani), and they relocated to Rome, when a job opportunity was offered to him there. Over the next eight years, Ralph Ferraro would work in every facet of the musical entertainment field, including films, television, commercial and public productions. As a session percussionist, he performed on many classic film soundtracks recorded in Italy - La Dolce Vita, 81/2, Sodom And Gomorrah, Battle Of Algiers among these. He also performed on the American television series, Combat!, which was recorded there, as well. His meeting and working with that series' composer, Leonard Rosenman would lead to a lengthy collaboration in future years. During this eventful period in Italian cinema, Ferraro progressed from performing to arranging music for numerous Italian composers, among these -Armando Trovajoli, Carlo Rustichelli, Angelo Lavagnino, and Piero Piccioni. Piccioni made almost exclusive use of Ferraro as an arranger for his many film scores of this era. Ralph Ferraro's distinctive orchestral style and colorations can be enjoyed in the Piccioni scores for Il Momento Della Verita, Minnestoa Clay, I Tre Volti and C'Era Una Volta... among others. Ferraro also had the opportunity to compose original music for a number of Italian film and television productions - Lo Scandolo, Il Errore, La Sorella Di Satana (She -Beast), and Treasure Of The Petrified Forest. During this exciting time, the Ferraros were blessed with the birth of two lovely daughters, Francesca and Claudia, and formed life-long friendships with many musical colleagues in Rome -Armando Trovajoli, Piero Piccioni, Allessandro Allessandroni, Ennio Morricone, etc. In 1967, the Ferraros returned to the States, and Ralph became enmeshed in work for the American cinema. Signing on at Universal , he composed numerous episode scores for such television series as The Virginian, Chrysler Theatre, It Takes A Thief, Name Of The Game, and The Men From Shiloh . He also scored his first American film, The King's Pirate, and collaborated with Billy Goldenberg on the adaptation score of Luis Bonfa for River Of Mystery. It was at this time that Ferraro reconnected with Leonard Rosenman, becoming his almost exclusive orchestrator until the composer's withdrawal from film work due to health issues in the mid-1990's. Among the noteworthy collaborations of Ferraro with Rosenman - The Hellfighters, Marcus Welby, M. D., A Man Called Horse, Lord Of The Rings, Cross Creek, Star Trk IV: The Voyage Home Robo-Cop II, and Rosenman's two Oscar-winning adaptation scores, Barry Lyndon and Bound For Glory. Ralph Ferraro also found work orchestrating for other well-known composers as well, Henry Mancini, Johnny Mandel, Bernardo Segall, and John Williams. He worked extensively with composer/arranger Don Costa, and formed a lifelong friendship with Costa and other luminaries, Nick Perito, Gene DePaul and Harry Warren. Their weekly dinner get-togethers were the stuff of legend as these music-masters gathered to discuss and celebrate their love of music. In 1973, Ralph Ferraro was afforded the opportunity to score an independent film which, through name recognition, would probably be the film for which he is best known, Flesh Gordon. This low-budget, soft-core porno spoof of the classic Sci-Fi serial of the 1930's, none-the-less, boasted some of the most stunning and eye-catching visual effects ever seen on film. Created by some of the most talented young effects artists in the business, some years before their individual stars would shine, Flesh Gordon was lifted to a level which the film's producers had not anticipated. The talents of Dennis Muren, Rick Baker, Doug Beswick, Jim Danforth, Greg Jein, Dave Allen , Tom Scherman and others brought the film world-wide attention which it would not have otherwise known. Ralph Ferraro's music, however, is the crowning element which takes the film to its achieved pinnacle. Composed and fully orchestrated in only three days, and recorded with a smaller-than-average orchestra, in a four-hour recording session, Ferraro's score adds the production value needed to make this cinematic effort, a genuine entertainment. His tongue-in-cheek, playful renderings, with an over-the-top melodramatic style that harkens back to the era of silent cliff-hangers,make Flesh Gordon a joy to hear as well as to see. Ralph Ferrao's typically modest response to praise for his effort -" I just did what the film seemed to call for!" Busy with his orchestrating work, Ralph still found time to score three television pilots for Carroll O'Connor's production company in 1980 - Our Place, Riding For The Pony Express, and Bender's Force. None were picked-up by the networks, but they offerred Ferraro the chance to further his range of musical explorations. In 1982, he was commissioned by the Disney Company to create an original musical work which would incorporate the melodies of the song-writing brother-team of Richard and Robert Sherman. this music, to be played throughout Disney's new Epcot Center was entitled, Imagination and is one of the best examples of Ralph Ferraro's musical knowledge and acumen at using an orchestra to its fullest effect. Imagination is a magical musical fantasy which brilliantly displays the Sherman's lyricism as well as giving every instrument in the orchestral pantry, an opportunity to shine in its own right. Later in the decade of the 1980's Ralph Ferraro was commissioned by Jack Elliott, who had formed The New American Orchestra, to compose an original musical piece as a signature anthem for that orchestra. Ferraro's work, La Corrida, had its debut in 1987, with Jack Elliott conducting it in its premiere performance. In the mid-1980's, Ralph Ferraro formed a new collaboration with new rising-star composer, Randy Edelman, starting with MacGuyver and continuing through such titles as Dragonheart,XXX, Beethoven, Miss Congeniality, and Gettysburg, Ralph was kept busy with creating new and colorful sounds for Randel Edelman, until his retirement in 2009. Ralph enjoyed a brief retirement - brief on the grander scale - before passing on to join his Old Friends, Don Costa, Harry Warren, Nick Perito, etc. who had proceeded him, on April 3, 2012. His passing adds another exclamation point (!) to the end of a marvelous and magical music-making time, the like of which will never be seen again.Score Orchestrator- Composer

Mark McKenzie studied composition with renown classical composers Pierre Boulez, Witold Lutoslawski, and Morten Lauridsen among others. After becoming the first Composition graduate at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire and earning his Masters in Composition at the University of Southern CA, Mark was singled out honored as "The Outstanding USC Doctoral Music Graduate." He was kept on by the USC faculty to teach Music Theory while pursuing his love of film music. McKenzie's first opportunities were orchestrations for movie composers beginning with Academy Award nominated Bruce Broughton on the Steven Spielberg / Barry Levinson film Young Sherlock Holmes. That soundtrack was nominated for a Grammy Award and Mark quickly became the behind the scenes "go to" orchestrator for the elite Hollywood composers such as Academy Award winning Jerry Goldsmith, John Barry, Danny Elfman, Randy Edelman, Alan Silvestri, John Powell, John Williams and others. McKenzie also worked alongside pop artists such as Michael Jackson, Nile Rogers, and Sir Paul McCartney. His credits include blockbuster films such as the Academy Award Winning Dances With Wolves, Good Will Hunting, Men in Black, Nightmare Before Christmas, Spiderman 1 & 2, Mr and Mrs Smith, Star Trek VI,VII and IX, The Patriot, A Few Good Men, Ice Age, Sleepless in Seattle and the hit Bungi game Destiny. Legendary Academy Award winning composer Jerry Goldsmith, in addition to relying on McKenzie to orchestrate his final 7 films, called upon Mark to compose for him when time constraints and health issues required it. One example is a piece called "Prison Uprising" composed for Goldsmith's score to The Last Castle. It can be heard by clicking on The Last Castle Album cover. Goldsmith collaborated closely with Mark repeatedly saying: "Mark is my godsend." Paul McCartney called McKenzie "Brilliant." Director and actor LeVar Burton wrote: "Working with Mark was truly a highlight and one of the best experiences of my career."
As a composer, Mark's film music creates a psychologically intricate inner life to enhance the multi dimensions of characters, giving reference to past or future story elements and heightening the experience of the story. Directors speak of Mark's "unerring instincts to capture the film's emotional core" and "imbue each scene with nuanced music to knit together and propel the story, character and emotions" using words to describe it such as: "beautiful," "timeless," "epic," and "intensely human." Mark is one of the very few composers who both composes and orchestrates every note himself. His latest epic original score (Max and Me) for a film to be premiered at World Youth Days is about Polish priest Maxamilian Kolbe who, through pure compassion, sacrificed his life for another in the Auschwitz concentration camp starvation bunker. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios with concert violinist Joshua Bell, large orchestra, choir and the London boys choir Libera and will be released on the Sony Classical label.
Variety's "Eye on the Oscars" states: "Mark McKenzie's commanding orchestral prowess puts him among the foremost symphonists in Hollywood." The Los Angeles Times, The Hollywood Reporter, and numerous film music periodicals call his music "strikingly original...soul-stirring...majestic...spiritual...deeply profound...filled with unfathomable beauty and power...some of the most beautiful, lyrical, and emotionally resonant music ever written for film."
Variety writes: "McKenzie is finally grabbing the limelight thanks to an obscure indie Mexican 3D animated spiritual film called The Greatest Miracle (El Gran Milagro)." The Greatest Miracle won the Hollywood Music in Media Award's "Best Indie Score of the year." It was doubly nominated as "Best Score of the Year" and "Best Animated Movie Score of the Year" by the International Film Music Critics Association. The Greatest Miracle was described by Movie Music UK as "...some of the most beautiful lyrical, and emotionally resonant music ever written for film." While the score did not get nominated for an Academy Award, Mark and the score were featured in Variety's "Eye on the Oscars." The Greatest Miracle was repeatedly on "Top Ten Scores of the Year" lists.
Mark's original music has been heard in every corner of the globe. He composed the opening and closing theme music to the longest running and most honored television series in history "The Hallmark Hall of Fame." His original scores such as The Greatest Miracle, The Ultimate Gift, Blizzard, Saving Sarah Cain, The Disappearance of Garcia Lorca, Dr. Jekyll and Ms. Hyde, Frank and Jesse and four Hallmark Hall of Fame films are all available on compact disc and via digital download and streaming through most major soundtrack outlets. Mark's original music has been featured repeatedly on the Academy Awards, underscored the Olympics, performed before the Pope, heard at Disney World, California Adventures, Wimbledon and in countless other venues. His choral work "Gloria," first premiered at the 2000th Crystal Cathedral Hour of Power broadcast has become a perennial Christmas favorite around the USA.
Mark McKenzie is a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (Oscars), The Television Academy (Emmy), The Society of Composers and Lyricists, and the BMI performing rights organization.Score Orchestrator and Additional Music- Composer

Marylata Elton (formerly known as Marylata E. Jacob) has enjoyed a multi-faceted career on the music side of the entertainment industry, spanning 40 years and encompassing award-winning feature films, collaborations with number of legendary musical artists, and her own Grammy® nomination.
Throughout it's first seven years, Elton held the post of DreamWorks Senior Vice President of Music, where she oversaw both the creative and corporate aspects of the music and songs for the studio's animated feature films. She joined the studio in 1995, shortly after its inception, and, as its first music executive, developed the feature film music department virtually from the ground up.
Elton went on to serve as Artistic Director of Music for seven DreamWorks' animated features, including the computer animated blockbuster Shrek, which won the first-ever Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature. In addition, Elton was honored with a Grammy® Award nomination (shared with Michael Ostin) in the category of Best Compilation Soundtrack for her work as Producer on the film's multi-platinum-selling soundtrack album. Always within arm's reach of Hollywood, Elton and her longtime partner, guitarist, and three-time Emmy® nominated composer Danny Jacob, have their own music production company Marquand Music, Inc. These productions include Disney's TV animation mega-hit, Phineas and Ferb, as well as producing numerous songs for Disney's TV animation division's Sofia the First, Elena of Avalor and Tangled. Joining the organization is their son, NYU and Chapman University film graduate, Aaron Jacob, as composer, music editor and featured vocalist.
During her tenure at DreamWorks, Elton was the Co-Producer of Vocals (shared with composer Hans Zimmer) on the epic musical drama The Prince of Egypt, which won the Oscar for Best Song for "When You Believe". The soundtrack for the film also featured Broadway's Brian Stokes Mitchell performing "Through Heaven's Eyes". On the morning of February 28, 2011, at the request of the astronaut's families, this song was broadcast to wake up the Discovery shuttle crew on their last voyage. Other animated projects on which Elton oversaw the music include Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, featuring songs by Bryan Adams; and The Road to El Dorado, which marked the reunion of the Oscar-winning "The Lion King" team of Elton John, Tim Rice, and Hans Zimmer; as well as the animated hits Chicken Run and Antz in addition to feature films Peacemaker and Gladiator.
Raised in Los Angeles, Elton began her career in 1978 at A&M Records where she managed album-recording costs for their many artists. Soon after, she struck out on her own as an independent coordinator and worked on more than 20 albums for such artists as Michael Jackson, Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Bob Weir, and Duran Duran's Andy Taylor. Having maintained relations with mentor Diana Ross, Elton was Co-Executive Producer on Ross' CD "I Love You" released in 2009. As the advent of MTV put a greater emphasis on the visual aspects of the music industry, soundtrack albums were also enjoying greater success, often spawning chart-topping singles. Segueing into the film industry, Elton supervised songs for such movies as Ivan Reitman's comedy smash "Ghostbusters", David Lynch's "Wild at Heart"; and James L. Brooks' 1994 film "I'll Do Anything."
It was on the last that Elton first worked with composer Hans Zimmer and producer Penney Finkelman-Cox, who were responsible for bringing Elton to DreamWorks the following year.
In 2011, Elton established the first endowment for the Teenage Drama Workshop at California State University Northridge, the longest running teen theater program in the nation. Relocating to Jacksonville, Oregon in 2014, Elton continues her legacy as a patron of the arts, supporting the Collaborative Theater Project, when in 2023, she accepted the honor being on its Board of Directors.Vocals Co-Producer (as Marylata E.
