How are people saying Titanic was his WORST WORK?

I own both Terminators, The Abyss, Aliens, AND Titanic.
And by far, I think Titanic is his best work.
Yes, it IS a chick flick, and yes, I AM a chick.

Mostly it's the guys, that think all his movies are going to turn out violent like Terminator. He had brilliant stunts and effects in those movies too, but for god's sake, don't say that Titanic was trash! If you were a true fan of James Cameron, you'd like all is his work, and all he has to offer. And he most definetly offered it during 'Titanic'. I'm sick of listening to people who claim James Cameron is their favorite director JUST because he wrote and directed all three Terminator films.

Were you people WATCHING, THE MOVIE TITANIC AT ALL? The effects were stunning, you hardly noticed the computer animation, he had perfect timing, color filters, and green screen useage, and in just the approximately 3 or so hour movie, he told Jack's story, Rose's story, and the sinking of the Titanic.

Absolutely-fricking-BRILLIANT if you ask me.
You wonder why it's the highest grossing film ever, seriously.
The only reason why there is so much critisism is because it's so popular.
Every person that can't accept the fact that Titanic <b>WAS</b> (since people don't seem get it) voted as the greatest movie of all time, set out on a mission to put out every tiny thing they personally think is wrong, thinking that Titanic will lesser. I have no idea why these types of people are out there, but they need to watch some other movies, besides for Terminator.

I could care less if you 'beg to differ'.
