- Trigger Alpert was born on September 3, 1916 in Indianapolis, Indiana, USA. He was an actor, known for The Garry Moore Show (1950) and Glenn Miller's Last Flight (2000). He died on December 21, 2013 in the USA.
- Swing bassist who had studied music at Indiana University in the 1930's and later played in the orchestras of Alvino Rey (1940), Glenn Miller (1940-45), Ray McKinley (1946) and Artie Shaw (1950, 1952-53). He recorded under his own name in the mid-50's, leading a band which included Zoot Sims and Al Cohn. Left the music scene in the 1970's to pursue a new career as a photographer.
