Sonia Borg was born on February 20, 1931 in Vienna, Austria. She was a producer and writer, known for Homicide (1964), Storm Boy (1976) and Women of the Sun (1981). She was married to Joachim Fankhanel. She died on February 4, 2016 in Apollo Bay, Victoria, Australia.
She was awarded the A.M. (Member of the Order of Australia) in the 1985 Queen's New Years Honours List for her services to the film and television industry.
