Justice Bowens was born Romel Boyar Bowens on August 28, 1971, in Los
Angeles, California. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley. He spent
most of his youth competing in track and field, martial arts, boxing
and watching a ton of TV.
Justice skipped film school to work under music video genius Dave
Meyers (Missy Elliot, Pink), John Baptiste-Mondino (Madonna) and film
director John Singleton (2 Fast 2 Furious, Shaft).
After studying his mentors, Justice went on to direct music videos for
multi-platinum artists such as P.O.D. and Thievery Corporation. He
co-produced and directed a PSA for the Variety Boys & Girls Club, which
featured his long time close personal friend, actress, Lisa Vidal
(Being Mary Jane, The Event). He helped raise over $4,000,000 for the
clubs new building fund.
Presently Justice Bowens lives in Los Angeles, is a lifelong student of
personal development, quantum physics and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
