- Born in Sydney, Australia, Alex trained at the Australian Theatre For Young People with future stars like Nicole Kidman. He went on to star alongside Kidman on stage and in the '80s Australian teen flick Nightmaster (1988).
Alex acted in many Australian films and TV series during the '80s and '90s (including Neighbours (1985)) before relocating to South Africa in 1995.
He has also enjoyed considerable success as a writer with his play PICK UPS enjoying hit seasons in Australia, South Africa and England.
