- During one of the premiers of Travon's first feature films The Sixth Man Starring Marlon Wayan's and Kadeem Hardison. After the premier, Travon tried to engage Marlon in a Roasting session between the two. Bad idea for Marlon with a comedy background was so funny Travon at one point forgot Marlon was talking about him.
- Living in a duplex was once the neighbor of Writer and Author Eric Jerome Dickey with Travon living upstairs and Eric Jerome Dickey living directly below him.
- Once at a luau on vacation on the island of Oahu and Asian tourist thought Travon looked like Denzel Washington or at least Handsome enough to take a picture with for a souvenir.
- Determined to be apart of the Entertainment Industry, before 9/11 was able to sneak onto the Hollywood back-lot of Universal Studios, Warner Bros and Disney. Once charmed his way onto the back-lot of Sunset Gower Studios to try and write for the show Moesha. Not having an appointment Writer Ralph Farquhar told him he admired his hunger.
- Once worked as a page for Audience Unlimited along side Actor Derek Luke.
- Lived in Inglewood and went to the same Elementary School during the time in which the Film The Wood is based on.
- Went on an interview for his first Post Production Assistant job for the film The Sixth Man while competing with a fellow classmate named Trenell. Being interviewed at the same time with both their names sounding similar and so they wouldn't confuse the two. They asked if Travon had a nickname? He said you can call me Tiger. They jokingly said like Tiger woods. Travon not knowing who Tiger woods was because Tiger was at the beginning of his golf career. Played along and said yes exactly. Travon taking the Nickname from what his Elementary School Principle called his own son. Later after the interview that day he saw the news talk about a young golfer making a name for himself by the name Tiger Woods. He initially lost the position but was offered the job a week later after Their first choice was unreliable.
- Came out of the same Film School and Class with 2015 Poltergeist Director Gil kenan.
