- (October 7, 2018) Married her boyfriend of nearly 10 months Craig Coyne in an intimate secret wedding. Only 20 family members witnessed the ceremony, which was held at the Bush family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine, in the backyard. The bride's aunt, Dorothy "Doro" Bush Koch, officiated. The couple, who have kept their romance under wraps until now, were set up by friends on a blind date last November and committed as a couple by New Year's Eve - despite living on opposite sides of the country, with Coyne in Los Angeles and Barbara in New York. The groom's brother, Edward Coyne III, served as best man; his mother and sister Katie each gave a reading during the private, family ceremony, as did the bride's mother, Laura. It was during a family gathering at Kennebunkport this summer, Barbara adds, that she and Coyne were walking along the oceanside rocks when he suddenly dropped to his knee in the same spot where Barbara's grandparents got engaged almost exactly 75 years earlier, in August 1943.
- Older twin sister of Jenna Bush Hager. She was delivered first. Daughter of George W. Bush and Laura Bush, granddaughter of George Bush and Barbara Bush. Named after her paternal grandmother.
- Graduated from Yale University in 2004.
- [As co-founder and CEO of Global Health Corp. founded in 2009] There is a tremendous energy to work on social change right now among young people. It's something that I don't know has ever happened in this magnitude before. This age group grew up connected. They understand parts of the world that they've never stepped foot in but have learned about because of technology. We see so much power in harnessing people who already seem themselves as global citizens.
