This year has, unfortunately, been filled with a slew of heartbreaking celebrity deaths. In October, "Friends" fans were shocked by the sudden death of Matthew Perry at age 54. Actors Richard Roundtree, Suzanne Somers, and Piper Laurie also died, as did musician Rudolph Isley.
In September, "Harry Potter" star Michael Gambon, "NCIS" actor David McCallum, musicians Steve Harwell and Jimmy Buffett, and 702 singer Irish Grinstead all died. In August, actor Arleen Sorkin, "The Price is Right" host Bob Barker, "This Is Us" actor Ron Cephas Jones, and musician DJ Casper, the man behind the 1998 party hit "Cha Cha Slide," died as well. The month before, we lost actors Angus Cloud and Paul Reubens, famed singers Tony Bennett, Sinéad O'Connor, and Jane Birkin, and musician Coco Lee. News of their deaths followed that of beloved actor Alan Arkin, who died on June 30. Also in June, reality star Anna Shay and "Everwood" actor Treat Williams died,...

He was sitting pretty, too, considering that the members his team, whittled down to just showman Noivas and country singer Grace West, were the likeliest to win the title. Did anyone from Team Kelly Clarkson, Chance the Rapper or Niall Horan deliver such a knockout that they might pull off an upset? Did Noivas and/or Grace stumble? Read on, and we’ll discuss.

The news was announced in a post shared by his official Twitter account, containing a statement from Caldwell’s wife, Mary.
“Bobby passed away here at home,” she said. “I held him tight in my arms as he left us. I am forever heartbroken.

Last year, it was reported that Caldwell had suffered a bad reaction to an antibiotic in 2017, which led to a rupturing of his Achilles tendon, and nerve damage.
Caldwell is best known for his 1978 single “What You Won’t Do for Love”, which featured on his self-titled debut album.

Louis Tomlinson has said that having the most writing credits in One Direction is the thing he’s most proud of.
The 31-year-old singer released the “first look” trailer for his forthcoming documentary on Tuesday (14 March).
Tomlinson announced the new documentary in February, after revealing that he had been working on the film “for years”.
All of Those Voices will be released in cinemas worldwide on 22 March and will tell the story of the “self-discovery and the courage it takes to be true to oneself”.
In the new trailer, Tomlinson said that being able to contribute to writing for the band made him feel in “control”.
“All of a sudden, I felt in control again. The first two and a half years, I just felt like I wasn’t in control of myself or certainly had an influence on the band,” he said.

Karen Elson has joined the band of musicians jumping in to defend Meg White after the former drummer was criticised by a reporter on Twitter.
This week, a tweet from political journalist Lachlan Markay surfaced in which he claimed that The White Stripes would have been a better band with “a half decent drummer”.
“Yeah, yeah I’ve heard all the ‘but it’s a carefully crafted sound mannnn!’ takes. I’m sorry Meg White was terrible and no band is better for having s***ty percussion,” Markay wrote.
The reporter’s sentiment has been widely rebutted by the music industry. Elson, who was married to Meg’s ex-husband and bandmate Jack White between 2005 and 2013, tweeted: “Not only is Meg White a fantastic drummer, Jack also said the White Stripes would be nothing without her.
“To the journalist who dissed her, keep my ex husband’s ex wife name out of your f***ing mouth.

Carrie Underwood and Axl Rose reprised their previous onstage duets when the latter appeared for a performance of Guns N’ Roses‘ “Welcome to the Jungle” during Underwood’s concert on Monday night (March 13th) at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
Underwood is an outspoken Gn’R fan, which has led to her singing with Rose in various capacities over the past year. Initially, Rose made a cameo during Underwood’s set at the Stagecoach Festival in 2022, singing “Sweet Child ‘O Mine” and “Paradise City.” Underwood would then return the favor, joining Gn’R onstage in London later that year for those same songs.
Therefore, the L.A. show was a perfect time to bust out “Welcome to the Jungle” — an anthem about The City of Angels — alongside Axl. As the song’s iconic opening riff plays, Underwood emerged from beneath the stage, imitating Axl’s signature side-to-side snake dance.

Sg Lewis has had a lot to celebrate. As he sits down for coffee at the Hoxton hotel in Brooklyn, he’s still reeling from performing at The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon the night before for the first time.
“Those things are always over in flash,” he says, noting that he’s still a bit “sore” from celebrating after the performance with his band. “There’s a surrealism where you see something so many times on TV and in popular culture and then you’re in it.”

The 2023 R&b Grammy categories are some of the most packed in years. Sometimes the winners are obvious and one particular artist sweeps. This year, however, big names in the field like Jazmine Sullivan, Beyoncé, and Mary J. Blige are all in the hunt for more trophies for their mantels, going against newer acts like Snoh Aalegra and Muni Long. But who will be victorious come February 5?
SEEGrammy predictions for Best Visual Media Song: Let’s talk about ‘Bruno,’ Beyonce and Lady Gaga Best R&b Performance
Every song here genuinely could make a case to win. If they go for longtime favorites, Mary J. Blige and Anderson .Paak’s “Here With Me” could scoop this up. Lucky Daye also has a shot here since “Over” was a big hit for him, but its absence in Best R&b Song might be a red flag. Then there’s Beyoncé’s “Virgo’s Groove.

There’s a famous episode of South Park called “Simpsons Already Did It,” where Butters proposes various schemes that he then has to abandon upon being reminded that someone on The Simpsons had previously tried it. It was a reflection of the innovation and influence of Bart, Homer and friends, and of the long shadow they cast over so many shows that followed them. It’s damn hard for any animated comedy — including The Simpsons itself, which, like South Park, is still making new episodes 16 years after “Simpsons Already Did...

Jason Bourne, the movie, is fine. But Jason Bourne, the character, is getting old. He wasn't always that way. When The Bourne Identity was released in 2002, Matt Damon was 31. He still had the flush of youth in his cheeks. (The year before, he'd been "Bobby Caldwell's kid" in Ocean's Eleven.) He was fit and trim, and he looked in great physical shape. The movie made him an action star, but after The Bourne Ultimatum completed the first trilogy in 2007, he resisted the temptation to make another installment. Sure, Damon and director Paul Greengrass teamed again for the war drama Green Zone in 2010, but that was A Serious Movie that reportedly failed to make back its production budget on its initial theatrical...
