The eight-part Hulu series Pam & Tommy came to an end this week with a final episode that, much like the others, took place in a slightly different universe than our own. In this one, Mötley Crüe’s Generation Swine came out in June 1996 instead of June 1997, they promoted it with a show in the Tower Records parking lot featuring a song nowhere to be found in the band’s actual catalog, and they were bumped from a live MTV event to make room for Beck.

A bronze plaque commemorating the location of a movie studio where both Keaton and Charlie Chaplin created their timeless comedies in the early part of the 20th Century will be dedicated at 4 p.m. on June 16 at 1021 Lillian Ave., near the intersection of Eleanor Avenue and Lillian Way in Los Angeles. The dedication and and several other events have been organized by the International Buster Keaton Society to remedy the incorrect placement of a similar plaque in 1988.

Rock drummers are a notorious breed. They are constantly the butt of many jokes, which many have come to deserve. But there are a few who sidestep the stereotype, playing on some of the greatest songs and albums in rock history, who deserve their well-earned level of respect.
