Jonathan Peretz Chance (Jon Chance) was born in Albany, New York in 1966. His mother was a classical musician and his father was a Mideast policy adviser for the Council on Foreign Relations, President Kennedy, and President Carter.
Jon studied history, philosophy and media at McGill University and graduated from New York University with a BFA in film & television production in 1988.
In 1995 Jon was blacklisted by the Hollywood Establishment because of his research on false-flag terrorism.
In 2001-2003 Jon ran for US Congress in Massachusetts as an independent libertarian. He was accused of being "associated with Al Qaeda" because of his investigation of Israel's participation in the terrorist attack of 9/11/2001.
In 2006 the Google Corporation bought YouTube and removed Jon's three-hour documentary -- The 9/11 Investigation -- which conclusively revealed exactly who attacked America on 9/11/2001.
After five decades of harassment and political censorship by authoritarian fanatics, Jon emigrated to the Swiss Confederation in 2018.
Jon has worked as a filmmaker, journalist, investigator, economist and entrepreneur for over thirty years. He enjoys making unusual, beautiful and thought-provoking dramatic feature films.
