The organizers of the Philadelphia Film Festival-CineFest have revealed the lineup for the Danger After Dark section of their 2009 event, which runs March 26-April 6 at various venues across the city. As usual, the fest is hosting a solid lineup of genre fare in the Danger program, along with others outside of it as well.
The Danger After Dark features include the East Coast premiere of I Sell The Dead, Glenn McQuaid’s period chiller about a pair of graverobbers who confront the living dead (see our early rave here); the North American premiere of Able (pictured), Marc Robert’s Berlin-set study of citizens resorting to savagery to survive in the face of a virulent virus; Art Of The Devil 3, the latest installment in the Thai series of bloodsoaked supernatural chillers; 4Bia, a highly recommended fright anthology by a quartet of Thai directors, including the creators of Shutter; the world premiere of Hanger,...

The good folks at Tla Releasing which provide great genre fare via their Danger After Dark label have just sent out a press release containing just a few of the genre films playing at the Philly Film Fest which has over 250 films this year. Some notables: I Sell The Dead, Able, Linkeroever (Left Bank), Moon and one of our personal favorites, Before The Fall.
