An associate of former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez said he was told Hernandez fired the shots that resulted in the death of a semi-pro football player, according to documents filed in Florida. The records, obtained by the Associated Press, also show that a vehicle wanted in a double killing in Boston a year before had been rented in Hernandez's name. Together, the revelations provide the most damning evidence yet against the 23-year-old star athlete. Hernandez has been charged in the June killing of Boston semi-pro athlete Odin Lloyd. The records say Hernandez associate Carlos Ortiz told Massachusetts investigators that another man,...

Meanwhile, relatives of the victim prepared for his funeral. Two men who authorities say were in a car with Hernandez before one of his friends was shot to death are in custody. On Friday, one was charged with illegally carrying a gun and the other accused of being an accessory after murder. Christian Bale and Thomas Dekker, you might want to watch your step in the coming months; the terrible year of John Connors continues. Edward Furlong, who played Connor in Terminator 2, was arrested early this morning at Lax for felony domestic violence after grabbing his girlfriend’s arm in an argument, leaving visible marks, TMZ reports. At press time, the 35-year-old actor remained in jail with bail set at $50,000. Earlier this year, Furlong, who has struggled with addiction to cocaine and heroin for years, claimed he was robbed by a man in L.A.’s Skid Row. In 2011, he was jailed for violating a restraining order that kept him away from his estranged wife.

With the Expendables 2 recent theatrical release and Arnold Schwarzenegger’s return to the big screen, Terminator fever is most definitely back in fashion.
For me, the first two Terminator movies have always been the best, with Terminator 2: Judgment Day winning out. These movies featured Arnold in top form – a robotic, muscle-bound killing machine. His thick Austrian accent played well into his cyborg perona; it made his “human” moments with John Connor in Judgment Day some of the most memorable sci-fi scenes in history – even by today’s standards. Sure, they were camp, but it also added a sense of reality to the story of a cyborg from the future coming back in time to save (and destroy) the timeline.
Warner Bros has released The Terminator Anthology as a Best Buy exclusive (sans Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles). The collection includes: The Terminator, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines...

Deadheads is a zomedy in the vein of Shaun of the Dead, Aaah! Zombies!!, and A Little Bit Zombie. The film here is most remiscent of Shaun of the Dead in which two friends try to deal with the zombie apocalypse to moderate results. However in this film Mike (Michael McKiddy) and Brent (Ross Kidder) are not of the living. Instead, they are zombies released from a military lab'. The next 90 minutes is then a road trip styled film as the characters are pursued by the scientists. Deadheads blends genres along the way including: comedy, action and romance. Pandering to so many genres seems to weaken all of them, but overall this is a fun film for zombie movie fans.
Mike and Brent meet up with Cliff (Harry Burkey) after their escape. Cliff is burying the renowned prostitute Pei-Pei's ashes in Lake Michigan.

Hug your children and start stockpiling bottled water: Today.s the day that Skynet becomes self-aware. In the timeline originally established by James Cameron.s original Terminator movie, April 19, 2011 was the day that a vast network of computers, known as Skynet, became self-aware. It would eventually take over the planet, set about wiping out humanity, and send a robot which looked like Arnold Schwarzenegger back in time to kill John Connors. Skynet becomes self-aware at 8:11pm tonight, so keep an eye out your window for any suspicious looking, leather-clad characters who look like Arnold Schwarzenegger. or maybe even Vin Diesel? Last week there was a crazy rumor that another Terminator movie might be in the works, with Fast Five helmer Justin Lin in the director.s chair. Lin confirmed that he.s talked to Arnold about coming back, but if he can.t get him, then he.ll need...

Terminator Salvation – Trial By Fire
Author: Timothy Zahn
Guest review by our comics guru, and Timothy Zahn fan, Baron Fortnightly…
Trapped underground, Kyle Reese struggles to stay alive and prevent the ultimate Skynet infiltration. Amid the ruins of the Vla lab, Resistance fighters Barnes and Blair sift through the remains of their fallen comrades, searching for the body of Barne’s brother. On the forested slopes of the mountains, a man battles through the trees relentlessly pursued by a Terminator.
The Resistance have won a crucial battle, but the war is far from over. As Skynet’s tactics become ever more subtle and deadly, the humans must figure out how they will fight back and who will lead the charge.
Set just after the events of the film Terminator Salvation, Trial by Fire follows some of the characters introduced in the movie. Blaire Williams, the pilot played by Moon Bloodgood; Barnes,...

This movie was so bad it has the biggest plot wholes imaginable I sat in the theatre wondering how many times John Connors name would be said like I know already what is name is. The fist thing about the story was why was it focused on Marcus right I mean who is he he brings nothing to the movie. Second thing how did the machines know about Kyle reese and why didn't they kill him instead of putting him in a camp I mean the machines are killers that's what they do. Third how do they expect to fight machines and win when they can't even kill Marcus right in there own base I mean come on over...

As you may have read, McG and the powers that be behind “Terminator: Salvation” have made some changes to the ending of Salvation due to some early story leaks. Although we really can’t be sure, this is the ending that was too painful for us to bear. At the end of the film, the face of the dead (!!!) John Connors is grafted onto Sam Worthington’s character Marcus. Marcus is some kind of hybrid Terminator/Human or so I gather from the trailers etc. Various versions of this ending were considered, including having Marcus snuff out all the witnesses to this event before he assumed the role of John. I don’t think we can be totally sure this ending isn’t the real deal. It sounds very cool actually. Here’s a quote from McG on the matter of dark endings. “There was this leak that Connor dies...

"All I know is Bale doesn't f*** around ... he doesn't sign up for things unless he believes 100%. He's already Bruce Wayne, he doesn't need to be John Connor." -- McG
Reprising a trilogy is hard work. Reprising one of sci-fi's most heralded and closely critiqued series is near impossible.
That's why the decision to revive 'Terminator' for a fourth (and, almost definitely, more to come) installment was met with mixed emotions. And the announcement that McG would direct received even more passionate outcries -- could the 'Charlie's Angels' guy really go head-to-head with John Connor and Skynet's toughest machines? Well, he has, and we can say from seeing it all first-hand that fans are in for an action-packed ride.
