The Lost Kingdom is now inside of your home, as “Aquaman 2” swims to streaming on Feb. 27.
The Jason Momoa-led superhero sequel will be available to watch on Max just two months after it debuted in theaters over the Christmas holiday.
The film — which also stars Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Randall Park and Dolph Lundgren — follows Momoa’s oceanic stud as he once again goes up against Black Manta, who threatens to unleash an evil and ancient force using the Black Trident. Aquaman teams up with his half-brother Orm, the former king of Atlantis, to put aside their differences and save their underwater world from permanent destruction.
“Aquaman 2” floundered at the box office, collecting only $123 million domestically and $433 million worldwide. Compare that to 2018’s “Aquaman,” which raked in $335 million in the U.S. and Canada alone (and more than $1.1 billion globally).

Hamada testified at Depp and Heard’s ongoing defamation trial Tuesday, May 24, via video deposition. He was called as a witness by Depp’s team in part to counter some of Heard’s own testimony last week. At the time,...

Amazon has released the first official trailer for sci-fi blockbuster “The Tomorrow War,” debuting on July 2 and starring Chris Pratt as Dan Forester, a high school teacher (and military vet) who is recruited by a group of time travelers to fight a war 30 years in the future.
“I was trying to save my daughter,” a war-hardened Pratt says in the trailer. “If I’ve gotta save the world to save her, then I’m gonna do it.”
In the movie, an alien species threatens life on Earth, and the only hope for survival is for soldiers and civilians from the present to travel to the year 2051 and help save the planet. Dan teams up with his estranged father, played by J.K. Simmons, and a brilliant scientist, portrayed by Yvonne Strahovski, to rewrite the fate of mankind.
In the trailer, soldiers from the future interrupt a televised soccer match to recruit present-day fighters.

Amazon has released the first official trailer for “The Tomorrow War,” its showy $200 million action tentpole starring Chris Pratt as an ex-military man drafted to travel in time in order to save his daughter (and humanity) from a future alien attack. Originally set for a theatrical release by Paramount Pictures, the movie was acquired by Amazon Studios in a deal worth a reported $200 million due to the pandemic. Now with theaters opening back up, “The Tomorrow War” producers may be kicking themselves that it won’t be seen on the big screen when it premieres exclusively on Prime Video this July.
Directed by frequent Phil Lord and Chris Miller collaborator Chris McKay, the apocalyptic alien drama appears to lean hard into the action side of things with a few brief moments of comedic relief, a slight departure from Lord and Miller’s signature action-comedy style.

Melissa McCarthy’s ‘Superintelligence’ Bumped From Holiday Theatrical Release to Premiere on HBO Max
The Melissa McCarthy comedy “Superintelligence” has been bumped from its planned holiday theatrical release by Warner Bros. and New Line Cinema and will instead premiere on HBO Max in spring 2020, Warner Media announced Thursday.
The film — directed by Ben Falcone and written by Steve Mallory — was originally slated for release on Dec. 20. It’s moving off a busy holiday weekend that also includes “Cats,” “Bombshell” and “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.”
“Superintelligence” is a comedy about a woman selected for surveillance so that a new artificial intelligence program can learn. But the program soon has her TV, phone and microwave snarkily talking back to her as it slowly grows in sentience and threatens to take over the world. Only McCarthy’s character can save humanity before the AI program with an attitude decides to pull the plug on humanity.

In the final presentation of Warner Bros’ Hall H Saturday extravaganza, Jason Momoa took the stage along with Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Nicole Kidman, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and director James Wan.
Wan started it off. “One of the biggest things I wanted to do was create a superhero film we haven’t seen before,” he said. “Ours a little different and unique my movie more like sci-fi film than a traditional superhero movie.”
They showed a trailer (check it out above) and then some teaser footage that depicted an intriguing underwater world, and a clash between Aquaman and his sibling (Patrick Wilson) to rule the kingdom. What we saw was VFX-heavy, a departure for Wan.
The cast told amusing stories about being chafed in harnesses, and preparing to deal with the inevitable wetness guaranteed when you sign on for such a film

Although we saw some new images from the film last week, this striking new poster comes in anticipation of the film’s San Diego Comic-Con 2018 panel. Along with the new poster comes the confirmation that the first trailer for the film will also debut at the aforementioned panel. Here’s the first poster for ‘Aquaman‘ (via Twitter):

As someone who hasn’t been too keen on most of the Dceu films, I have to say that ‘Aquaman ‘looks to be extremely promising based on this poster. Director James Wan is the perfect choice for bringing Atlantis to life, and it seems that Wan is keen on lightening the tone up a bit.

Here’s a new reason to respect Mother Ocean. Behold the first teaser poster for Aquaman, starring Jason Momoa as the DC deep-sea superhero. Have a look below.
The film will have Comic-Con panel this week, where director James Wan has said the first trailer will be revealed. The initial footage shown at CinemaCon showed the undersea kingdom of Atlantis, replete with swimming fish people — some riding sea horses — and futuristic submarines. Aquaman is challenged by his brother (Patrick Wilson) for the throne, with Amber Heard’s Mera begging Aquaman, “Unless you help us, millions will die.”
Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Nicole Kidman co-star in Wan’s film. Will Beall wrote the screenplay from a story by Geoff Johns and Wan. Peter Safran produced Aquaman, based on the 77-year-old DC Comics hero, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg and Johns serving as executive producers.

Outside of Justice League footage and the photos released of Jason Mamoa grimacing, we haven't seen a lot regarding Aquaman. Today just a little more on the film has been released as it starts shooting. Warner Bros. sent out a press release which included the title card for the DC superhero film, and it kinda looks like a warped Star Trek logo. Compared to past Aquaman logos, it's definitely a bit more rigid than past incarnations and looks a whole lot less like an A, which is the original intention behind the logo. Check the press release below and share your thoughts.
