- Patsy May Dittemore was born March 20, 1934 in Owen County Indiana. Her father James Dittemore and mother Gladys Elizabeth May were from Owen County Indiana but relocated as children with their families to Orange County California. They married there on Oct 17, 1931. While visiting family in Indiana on March of 1934 Patsy was born. On April 8, 1934, just 19 days after the birth of Patsy , Gladys passed away. She is buried in Gosport Cemetery in Gosport, Owen County, Indiana. James didn't know what to do, so when he got back to California he gave Patsy to her maternal grandparents Miles and Clara Elizabeth May. She took their last name and became Patsy May. They lived in Los Angelos, California where as a child Patsy began to get acting jobs, such as playing the baby sister of Spanky in a few of the "Our Gang" episodes along with a few other appearances in television and movies.- IMDb Mini Biography By: a relative of Patsy
