- Jack Duffy was born on September 4, 1882 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, USA. He was an actor, known for The Stage Hand (1920), The Adventures of Peg o' the Ring (1916) and The Gold Racket (1937). He died on July 23, 1939 in Hollywood, California, USA.
- Silent screen comedian with four years experience in vaudeville and six in musical comedy. His ability to greatly age himself through judicious use of make-up - and by removing his dentures - guaranteed him steady employment in character parts during the 1920's, at Universal, L-KO and Vitagraph. When his acting career came to an end in the early 30's, he continued to work in his dual capacity of make-up artist.
