Taika Waititi is an iconic director whose films have often been deemed as quirky or unique. The director is infamously known for directing Thor: Love and Thunder starring Chris Hemsworth which was a fantastic failure.
With Christian Bale as the antagonist of the film, there were some deleted scenes that would have made the film R-rated! Talking about these scenes, it was revealed that Chris Hemsworth even called them “a little too far“!

We've been hearing rumours for months that Wesley Snipes will return as Blade, and it was earlier this week that we learned the actor has indeed signed up for a future MCU appearance.
While X-Men and Spider-Man typically get the lion's share of credit for bringing superheroes back to theaters, Blade and Blade II arguably kickstarted the genre's return to prominence in the early 2000s. With that in mind, we find it easy to imagine Marvel Studios being keen to give Snipes the chance to bid farewell to the Daywalker after the disaster that was Blade: Trinity.
According to a rumour shared by scooper @MyTimeToShineH, Snipes has agreed to reprise his role as Blade in Deadpool & Wolverine.
This makes more sense than the next Avengers movies as Mahershala Ali should have appeared in the Blade reboot by then. It's also worth remembering that Snipes and Ryan Reynolds have a history on screen.

Robert Downey Jr. won’t accept Chris Hemsworth’s gripes over Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As part of Hemsworth’s recent Vanity Fair cover story, the Thor star revealed he grew frustrated playing the Asgardian hero across four standalone movies and several more “Avengers” films.
“Sometimes I felt like a security guard for the team,” Hemsworth admitted. “I would read everyone else’s lines, and go, ‘Oh, they got way cooler stuff. They’re having more fun. What’s my character doing?’ It was always about, ‘You’ve got the wig on. You’ve got the muscles. You’ve got the costume. Where’s the lighting?’ Yeah, I’m part of this big thing, but I’m probably pretty replaceable.”
Downey shut down Hemsworth’s frustration, telling the publication: “First off, Thor as a character was super tricky to adapt — lots of implied limitations — but he and Ken Branagh...

Benedict Cumberbatch is an accomplished actor whose fame increased after starring as Doctor Strange in the MCU. Things would have been different if Joaquin Phoenix had donned the Cloak of Levitation. Derrickson was associated with the Doctor Strange movie, released in 2016. The film was made on a reported budget of $165 million and earned a staggering $677.8 million globally. Chris Hemsworth is set to appear in the next installment of the Mad Max franchise. Despite all the success that the actor has garnered, it seems he still remains a little shy when meeting actors who have done the same, as he revealed to Vanity Fair.

Alan Silvestri is a legendary composer who counts like likes of Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Lilo & Stitch, and Ready Player One among his many credits. He's also something of an icon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Responsible for creating the now unmistakable theme for Earth's Mightiest Heroes first heard in 2012's The Avengers, Silvestri kicked off his MCU run by lending his talents to Captain America: The First Avenger. He'd later return for Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
Total Film recently caught up with the composer and asked if he's planning to work on another Marvel movie.
"Well, it looks like that could be happening, I just can’t talk about it [Laughs]," he teased. "I love that universe, for sure." While The Fantastic Four seems like a possibility for Silvestri, we'd be shocked if Marvel Studios isn't lining him up for Avengers 5 and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty...

Unfortunately, the trade doesn't share any specific numbers, but it's going to be a while before the movie hits tracking boards. The R-Rating won't necessarily have a negative impact either, something that's evident from the success of the previous Deadpool movies, Logan, and Joker.

Deadpool & Wolverine is rapidly approaching and new promo art from the movie puts the Merc with the Mouth and his bonkers Variants front and centre.
We have hi-res shots of Kidpool, Babypool, Dogpool, and Headpool (who is rumoured to be the severed head of Weapon XI from X-Men Origins: Wolverine). None of them have been showcased in the movie's trailers, suggesting the plan is for the Variants to be - mostly - kept under wraps.
There's also a great shot of Hugh Jackman suited up as Wolverine and lots of eye-catching pieces with the McU's "Best Bubs" striking different poses together.
While we've now seen plenty of Wade Wilson's Variants, chances are the movie's biggest cameos will be kept under wraps until post-release.

The iconic character of Doctor Strange in the MCU has become one of the most loved ones over the years, and a major credit for this goes to none other than the fan-favorite Benedict Cumberbatch. In fact, the 47-year-old actor was so widely loved in the role that even those fans who rallied for Joaquin Phoenix for the role can’t imagine someone else playing the character.

That being said, Phoenix got really, really close to nabbing that role from Cumberbatch. However, fortunately enough, things went in the favor of The Imitation Game actor. What’s more, even though his involvement in the movie cost Marvel millions of dollars due to scheduling conflicts, the franchise still agreed, as per what the director of the 2016 movie Scott Derrickson recently confessed.

Marvel Studios has been taking pitch meetings with writers for the X-Men reboot since late last year, and recent reports indicate that we are very close to finding out who will pen the script for the project.
Once a scribe is in place, the studio will turn its attention to a director - but there's a good chance Kevin Feige and co. already have a list of filmmakers in mind that they feel could be the right person to bring the iconic mutant heroes back to the big screen.
In the latest edition of his newsletter, Jeff Sneider mentions Moonlight and Mufasa: The Lion King director Barry Jenkins as one filmmaker who could be on Marvel's radar to helm the movie. Sneider doesn't say Jenkins is actually in talks, but he seems to feel that if the upcoming Lion King prequel is a success, he might be a strong contender.

The MCU has a lineup of upcoming movies, despite Marvel Studios facing challenges with recent projects. There’s been discussion about reducing the number of releases, as fans are growing weary of lower-quality shows and movies. However, Spider-Man continues to be a major draw, consistently delivering profits for Marvel, regardless of the medium.
In the MCU specifically, Spider-Man has had three standalone movies, with a fourth one in the works. This was confirmed months ago by producer Amy Pascal. The sequel’s development was paused during the WGA Strike but has since resumed. In this guide, we’ll summarize everything we know about the upcoming Spider-Man movie.
The plot could either explore the Multiverse or take a street-level direction
‘Spider-Man 3’ introduced the Multiversal theme that the rest of the franchise is now exploring, and although the movie was well-received, there’s been speculation that Feige has different plans for the upcoming installment.

MCU has quite a slate of movies coming up, even though Marvel Studios has hit a rough patch with the last couple of projects. There have been talks about releasing fewer projects, as fans are definitely becoming tired of shows and movies of lower quality; still, if one character always managed to drag people to movies, it’s Spider-Man, by far the most profitable Marvel franchise, no matter the product you’re looking at.

Dr. Strange is at this point one of the most notable characters in the MCU, and one of the most important. Despite his origin story being a bit more humble than today’s releases, he managed to perform strong and will be a huge part of the MCU going forward.
Even though Benedict Cumberbatch is by many fans considered to be the perfect Dr. Strange, it wasn’t always like that, the role was originally supposed to go to Joaquin Phoenix, but one decision altered the course of the MCU, and endangered ‘Doctor Strange’s’ box office since the role simply had to go to Cumberbatch.
In his recent Slash Film interview director of the origin movie, Scott Derrickson explained how Marvel Studios sacrificed the summer release to nab the popular actor. The studio went along with their proposal and it paid off in the long run.

Doctor Strange has become one of the most recognizable and significant characters in the MCU. Although his beginnings were more modest compared to recent releases, he has emerged as a pivotal figure and will play a significant role in the future of the MCU.
While many fans now see Benedict Cumberbatch as the ideal Doctor Strange, it wasn’t always that way. Originally, the role was intended for Joaquin Phoenix. However, a single decision changed the direction of the MCU. Ultimately, casting Cumberbatch was deemed essential for the success of “Doctor Strange” at the box office.
In a recent interview with Slash Film, Scott Derrickson, the director of the origin movie, explained how Marvel Studios opted to forgo a summer release to secure the popular actor. The studio agreed to the plan, and it ultimately proved to be a wise decision.

When Marvel Studios was searching for its Doctor Strange in the mid-2010s, a lot of very interesting names were in the mix. Chief among them was Joaquin Phoenix, an actor it was hard to imagine ever joining the MCU.
Ultimately, it didn't happen, and Benedict Cumberbatch landed the role. It's hard to imagine anyone else playing the Sorcerer Supreme now, of course, and Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson revealed just how close the Joker star came to being cast in an interview with Slash Film.
"Well, all I'll say is I spent some time with him. I spent a couple of long afternoons with him and really was really impressed with him personally and his thought process," the filmmaker explained. "This is what I'll say: I think he was giving, I think he was opening his mind to the possibility. I think he was investigating the possibility."

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently suffering severely, and its recent box office bombs justify just how much on the edge of the cliff it is. If anything, except for a few, there have hardly been any perfect movies from the saga after Avengers: Endgame, which itself was released nearly half a decade ago. This is why many seemingly termed this problem as being “superhero fatigue.”
The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
However, two masterminds tend to differ in their respective opinions on this situation. And as it turns out, these two genius brains are none other than the creative helmers behind Avengers: Infinity War and its sequel, Joe and Anthony Russo. According to the Russo Brothers, this recent downfall of the MCU isn’t due to “superhero fatigue,” but is rather a part of a “generational divide.”

Back in 2016, director Scott Derrickson and co-writer C. Robert Cargill's "Doctor Strange" walked so the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe could run. The underrated origin film might not have indulged in the same kind of cameo trend and crossover hype tactics as some of the bigger titles that followed in its footsteps, not to mention reaching the same heights at the box office, but the movie still established quite a few benchmarks the franchise would continue to rely upon. For one thing, Derrickson and his creative team clearly defined the visuals of the cosmic side of the MCU -- something we've seen even in the latest "Deadpool & Wolverine" trailer. For another, taking the time to flesh out Stephen Strange's unique backstory allowed subsequent projects to hit the ground running (such as "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness" or the Disney+ "What If?" series) and further...

Every couple of months in comic book-centric social media circles, someone reposts a comics page in which Deadpool shooting Spider-Man in the head or decapitating an exhausted Bruce Banner. These panels usually spark arguments about whether or not these kills are in character (they aren’t) or if the entire thing is a joke (it is).
Eventually, someone points out that the pages come from Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, a 2012-2013 miniseries by Cullen Bunn and Dalibor Talajic. The story involves Deadpool’s fourth-wall-breaking powers driving him so mad that he decides to kill all the other Marvel characters because they’re fictional and their lives don’t matter. Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe may have inspired controversy, but it also inspired several sequels, including Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again.
From all that we’ve seen so far, Deadpool & Wolverine seems to have little in common with Bunn and Talajic’s take.

Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a strange time for the franchise. The post-"Avengers: Endgame" era saw Kevin Feige and co. trying to shepherd the concept of the multiverse into our collective consciousness while simultaneously introducing a host of new heroes and somewhat reinventing the MCU for a new generation. Much of it worked well, with "Spider-Man: No Way Home" and "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" holding things down on the cinematic front. Meanwhile, "WandaVision" and "Hawkeye" made a good case for the McU's streaming age being a good development — a case that was later ruined by the poorly-reviewed "Secret Invasion."
But for every good entry in Phase 4, there was a "Thor: Love and Thunder" or a "She-Hulk: Attorney at Law" to undermine them. Thankfully, Phase 4 will always remain beloved for introducing us to one of the best arguments for the MCU expanding into the world of streaming television: "Loki.

Mark Ruffalo has been playing the role of Bruce Banner a.k.a Hulk in the MCU since The Avengers. The actor replaced Edward Norton after his appearance in The Incredible Hulk. Since then, Ruffalo has appeared in all the Avengers films, as well as Thor: Ragnarok and the Disney Plus series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
While the actor has been an irreplaceable part of the Og Avengers, he is one of the few to not receive a solo outing yet. The MCU has also not explored much more dangerous and scarier versions of the Hulk, who has gone berzerk multiple times in the comics. Fans especially want Kevin Feige to introduce Maestro, who was already seen in the game Marvel’s Avengers.

The Russo brothers don't expect Robert Downey Jr. to return as Iron Man.The 59-year-old actor expressed an interest in reprising his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) earlier this month but the 'Avengers: Endgame' directors cannot envisage a comeback after the character's death in the 2019 blockbuster.Speaking to GamesRadar at the Sands International Film Festival, Anthony Russo said: "I don't know how they would do it. I don't know what the road to that would be."Joe added: "I mean, we closed that book, so it would be up to them to figure out how to reopen it."Robert confirmed last month that he would "happily" play 'Iron Man' once again and described the role as an "integral part of my DNA".He told Esquire magazine: "It’s too integral a part of my DNA. Mark Ruffalo, who replaced Edward Norton by taking over as Hulk in the MCU, has been very candid about the recasting of the Marvel superhero. Norton starred in the 2008 film The Incredible Hulk. However, the studio decided to recast the character for future projects reportedly due to creative differences with Norton, alleging that they sought an actor who could blend well with The Avengers ensemble cast.

Only the hardest of hearts could have failed to be moved through Avengers: Endgame, especially through Chris Evans’ performance of them all. As much of a joyride as it felt because of those witty dialogues and scenes, it was also one of the most heartbreaking films in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, surpassing even Avengers: Infinity War in its battle of being a total tear-jerker.
Avengers: Endgame (2019).
That being said, while the movie in itself was one thing in terms of a heart-wrenching storyline, even the sets of the film managed to make one Avenger’s mother burst into tears! This Avenger was none other than the beloved former Captain America portrayer Evans, and his mother actually turned into a sobbing mess after seeing him on the sets of the 2019 blockbuster for an understandable reason.

After creating the heartbreaking yet truly magnificent exit of Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man from the Marvel Cinematic Universe via Avengers: Endgame, the Russo Brothers — Joe Russo and Anthony Russo — are all set to bring new action to the screens. As it turns out, the dynamic duo recently hinted at wanting to work with Evans and Gosling once again. The project they would be collaborating on is the sequel to the masterpiece from 2022, The Gray Man. But that’s not all because Evans isn’t the only Chris the mastermind filmmakers are looking forward to working with: They also want Chris Hemsworth to reprise his iconic role!

Hollywood star Robert Downey Jr. has expressed interest in reprising his role as Iron Man.
